Beautiful big windows overlook PCH and the ocean skies. (It's right above Summer House for those of you trying to find it!) the studio is brand new and you can tell that Christina poured her heart and soul into the space. One of my favorite parts about class was that Christina played good music!! She played popular slower songs rather than typical weird yoga music... you know what I'm talking about! The class was challenging but fun and relaxing at the same time. All in all, I had an awesome experience here and I will definitely be back!

Christina is an excellent yoga instructor who is very passionate behind each yoga practice she teaches. What I love about her is how she elaborately guides her students by walking you through each movement. This allows you to quickly comprehend and follow the flow with ease. Whether you're a beginner in yoga, intermediate or above, Christina will guide you to modify your poses to best fit your body's needs. The studio is located above Summer House and parking is pretty easy to find. I usually just park in the neighborhood by the studio. There's also a juice bar located near the studio which is another nice perk if you're looking for a great cleanse after the morning yoga class. One of the biggest issues is that they play the SAME CLASS RECORDING for each type of class. I didn't realize this when I signed up, and only discovered later that the classes I tried were LITERALLY THE SAME CLASS REPEATED for the past 3 months, just labeled differently. This was never explained during the signup process, and it feels misleading. If you're expecting different classes or variety in programming, that's not what you'll get here. When I was canceling the gym membership, the front desk person, Kayla, was going to get back to me, but she never did- When I called back - She said she had other things to do around there.

This suggests there would be no long-term commitment and you could cancel without much hassle. The exact words in the text were, " You can cancel anytime and our cancellation policy is within 30 days. In my calendar reminders, I entered to cancel the membership on May 10th. Then... Change in Terms: On May 3, I received a text stating I must provide 30 days' notice to cancel. This contradicts the initial communication about the ease of cancellation. The learning lesson is that this company will say anything to get you to join AND/OR there are people out there who don't know the difference between "within 30 days and minimum of 30 days." Beware!!

They call constantly, trying to push us into meeting with their "fitness manager," which is just a sales trap for outrageously overpriced personal training sessions nobody asked for. It feels less like a gym and more like a telemarketer with dumbbells. The place is filthy. My boyfriend used the men's showers one time and will never do it again. He said the floors were covered in this greenish slime, slippery even with shower shoes. Health-code-who? The machines aren't much better. One of them literally loosens the pin while you use it, so you're constantly resetting it unless you want to get launched into orbit. (If I wanted a surprise flight, I'd at least book Delta. That's the joke. Don't hurt me.) On top of that, their "cheap" membership isn't actually cheap. You can't sign up for the basic tier without paying over $100 in fees, BUT during the trial they'll happily steer you into the $30/month plan because that one has no sign-up fees. Classic bait-and-switch. Their class schedule is a joke unless you're unemployed or live in a different time dimension. Almost everything is during normal work hours. And the massage chairs they brag about? They're basically mall massage chairs someone threw a purple LED on. If you only need a place to swipe in and lift some weights, and you don't mind grime, upsells, or random mechanical hazards, then maybe it's worth it. For anyone expecting something clean, honest, or remotely professional... absolutely not.

What I love is the small class sizes, individual attention given to the students, no homework, and 4 day school week. I love no homework and the four day school week because it prioritizes our family time in the evenings. We don't spend our evenings after school stressing about assignments. I also love that they make it easy for parents to get involved. I'm able to volunteer in her classroom weekly. My daughter has excelled here! She loves going to school and used to be sad on the weekends that there isn't school 7 days a week. Our youngest daughter has blossomed going to Innovate's preschool this year. She is so happy there and I can tell the staff truly value her and care for her. I think because Innovate is such a new school they have had many growing pains but these haven't affected our family in a negative way. Dr. Geri has been a great addition to the school.
