They help everyone as they walk up and down to make sure you're in the correct positions and check-in to make sure you're still alive! They make it fun! There are mostly women that attend but a few men as well, from time to time. There are women of all ages and sizes! It's all at your own personal pace and it's not a race! The tv monitors tell you what to do next and for how long, and toward the end, there is a count down on the screen. And yes, I'm always watching that count down to get it over with! I feel as though it's now a community of supportive women! They all chat and have made connections even outside of SP! It's really nice to see! Dallyn and Pam are my usual instructors based on my schedule and they're amazing! I have neuropathy and fused bones in my feet that limit me to some exercises and they already know what exercise to do in its place for my safety and benefit of the workout! Even when the class is at max capacity, they're there to help guide and motivate! I love the times of the classes too, as I feel they're thoughtful for those that want to workout before work, at lunch break, after work or even after the kids have eaten and gone to bed! Sometimes I'm the only one in a 6:15PM class and sometimes it's full. You just never know! Either way, it's motivating and a QUICK 45min non-stop workout on the reformers. There is an app where you can purchase class passes and book classes or easily cancel 24hrs in advance to not lose the class pass. The app is nice and easy and has never glitched! I pay about $240 for a 10 class pass and you do have to use them within 3-months. My goal is mainly to go once a week, but I do travel a lot and have missed a month between classes but this has been good for me to get out of my little apartment and do something for myself! And that makes me smile! If you're thinking about it or think you can't do it, trust me, YOU CAN! If I can, so can you!

I've never seen in the front desk before wearing a gray shirt I was coming in talking about getting My Wife a gym membership. She was a little flustered with the the price, which was fine with me I'm OK paying it but then after a few back-and-forth comments from the front desk, Employee My Wife and Me decided to walk off go about a day workout and then he continues to walk over not even five minutes later to proceed to further harass me and my wife during our workout and continue to say there's been a noise complaint which is clearly a false statement as he seemed a little flustered because my wife yet again stood up for herself when he came over and said there was noise complaint when we had mentioned who had complained he couldn't answer the question he said well people actually looking at me funny i hate that he even came and harassed my wife and l . I am definitely 1000% canceling my membership and highly recommend anyway looking for a better gym go to the villa. I'm pretty sure their Customer Service and front desk people are trying a lot better than this. Prices here 52.00 a month with a family member another $52.00 a month. As well Guest passed for 24 hour $14.00 Guest pass for one week $100.00 Villa fitness 47.00 per month and bring up to to guest free And 10 locations across the map and I am sure there customer Service representative is there I've been thoroughly trained on proper manners and not arguing with customers and how to treat people respectfully regardless of how being spoken to or getting into a little scuffle or argument and not rolling their eyes and getting an attitude highly unprofessional was not expecting that at all all the rest of the front desk they're fine. Make sure to test with door locked to avoid possible subsequent issues 2) bathroom stall was out of toilet paper, so hopefully some more can be stocked up. His curiosity and enthusiasm made the experience even better. The facility was spotless and as well-equipped as any gym I've ever been to. They had top-of-the-line equipment for just about any training style--powerlifting, bodybuilding, CrossFit, Functional Patterns, and Knees Over Toes. On top of that, they offered an infrared sauna and a cold plunge. Next time I'm in town, this gym will definitely be at the top of my list.

On my own accord, I circled the entire building before realizing where the door was! Upon entering PIVOT, I went straight to the cycling room and was able to be assisted by Keith since I had issues getting myself signed up online. Tip: be sure you know which location you are signing up for! As for class, I was able to catch a strength class. Stages indoor bikes are used, which was a plus for me. The workout is based off the training regimen for Olympic cyclist Kristin Armstrong. Although I am used to an indoor cycling class that has choreography and varies between hills and flat roads, I thoroughly enjoyed Keith's class!

The facility is state of the art. 3 group rooms for classes, spinning & yoga and additionally a larger weight/cardio area. Everything was clean, well laid out with adequate space. Masking requirements in and out of the facility, with easy to maintain physical distance. Free WiFi, 24-7 access with a key fab to the building. The only deterrent, parking. There's a garage with the 1st hour free ($3/hour after) and street parking on 13th. But it's such a great gym I'm going to figure out the parking situation. Another location near Harris Ranch off of Parkcenter is slated to open this winter sometime. Definitely top notch gym. All amenities, great staff, and quality programming.

I first learned about Body Basics when I was reading a book that mentioned fitness assessments. I…read moreof course "Googled" for places that did the assessment and Body Basics popped up as one of the few in the Boise area that did the assessments. I made contact with the owner James Kling and visited the gym. (Right across from Payette Brewing on River Street.) Yep. I got the assessment done. Really a fine way to learn more about your overall fitness. James and the other trainers are very welcoming and quite knowledgeable. They have an extensive selection of equipment for any fitness level and readily created a routine that is working well for me. I love that the Body Basics is meticulously clean and well organized. In addition, the staff always makes a point to introduce themselves and make you feel welcome. Also, they introduce you to other members and it works to create a very positive vibe. One thing you will notice is that they will begin and end on time--great for busy people. Just call and set up an appointment to visit. Immediately you will notice they are very helpful and client-centered. NO sales or enrollment pressure or games. When you are ready just give them a call and visit. You will be glad you did.
