I had a gift certificate so I called to schedule a deep tissue massage. My GC was for $70 so I upgraded and booked a 90 min massage. I asked the woman on the phone to make sure I was scheduled with someone who had experience and knew how to do a good deep tissue massage. When I arrived 10 mins early I was shown to a room by a woman who I assumed was going to be my massage therapist. A man came in about 15 mins after my appointment was supposed to start. He said 90 mins deep tissue. I replied yes and proceeded to tell him I had not had a massage in a while so to ease in. He then left the room without saying anything and came back a few mins later still not saying a word. He began the massage with light pressing over the sheets, then when he got to applying the oil he was barely touching me at all. I thought man I guess I should not have said to ease in. I kept waiting for him to actually use some pressure or work out any of my tight muscles. Nope that never happened. He did not say anything to me at all during the session except time to flip. He spent most of him time on my arms legs and face. There was not one thing about that massage that was a deep tissue! It was absolutely terrible! I went to massage school and it was my first career for many years. Even with a small amount of training you would know to ask the client how the pressure was or how things were feeling. Not to mention respectfully draping someone is a very basic skill. I left there feeling like I needed a massage after that terrible experience. So I saw this on "Women owned business" and gave it a try. Have been told the owner Judy was very good but this was short notice. No idea who I had. Just tried their 30 min foot massage. Out of the 30 min 10 was on my feet, 10 on calves then the last 10 very odd was on the top of the thighs and calves. I guess I just don't care to be massaged over knee caps and such. I would prefer a 30 min FOOT massage or close anyway. Over all it was just so so. Therapist did not care about my comfort and it was obvious. People in the waiting area very loud so hard to relax. Any massage is worth 3 stars in my book so there you go. I might try again but if I do I will request the owner and not do a rushed walk in. I'll up date this if and when I go back. read more

Just kind of annoyed... We did a bunch of research and found massage thyme and read reviews that Judy was great so I booked an appointment for myself and my husband on the same day with Judy specifically. When I showed up I was told Judy went "shopping" and was told "Tom" will be doing my massage, I was not comfortable with that at all and told her that so I was given Linda, Linda was great. Before heading into the room I confirmed that Judy would be available for my husband that same day and was assured, yes she would be there. We have been to multiple massage places and have not always had great experiences so I wanted to make sure that our money was well spent. I originally booked for 60 minutes but when I was in the massage room I was asked if I could do 90 minutes- I agreed. Again, Linda was great, no complaints. When I went to leave Judy checked me out, I confirmed for the 3rd time that she would be available for my husband when he came in, she smiled and said yes of course, looked at her schedules and confirmed again, I said great then he will also do 90 minutes. So imagine my frustration when my husband arrives and is then passed off to someone other than Judy. I understand that people are busy and booked but this is total bait and switch. Thankfully we were both paired with masseuses that did a good job but my frustration is with the dishonesty. Unfortunately we won't be back. read more

Wendy was very sweet and attentive to my needs. She is well liked by many, including a friend who referred me. Unfortunately, her style of massage didn't fit the ticket for my preferences just because I have been suffering back issues since I was a child. It takes a very seasoned massage therapist skilled with multiple techniques to battle my issues. I always request very deep massage and have received cupping in the past. Dislocated my rib! Got a massage from Judy. She said I had a knot in my back so she worked it pretty hard--too hard. She dislocated a rib. I was in extreme pain until I got to a doctor to get some relief. I would think a massage therapist would know the difference between a knot and a rib. I do not recommend anyone going there unless they are willing to risk injury. read more

She worked out the kinks and I could tell where I needed work done because it hurt sooooo much! But after the hour was done MY PAIN WAS GONE!
