I recently dined at Zeppole during a conference trip and had an excellent experience from start to finish. Making dinner reservations ahead of time was easy using OpenTable. The restaurant itself is beautifully designed with fantastic seating and ambiance. Every detail contributes to a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes you feel welcome the moment you arrive. The service was outstanding, attentive and focused on messing sure your dining experience is exceptional, and the staff were knowledgeable and friendly. The food is fantastic, they make their own noodles from scratch & highly recommend the spaghetti and meatballs; it was absolutely delicious and a perfect example of their quality. The sea bass branzino was also excellent! Also recommend the Caesar salad, one of the very best I've ever had. While you're staying at the Opryland resort , Zeppole is definitely worth a visit.
This was our 2nd meal here during our stay at the resort as we couldn't stay away after how delicious the food was the 1st time. For this meal we were sat farther in the restaurant. I did not realize how big Zeppole was! Where we were sat was very open, romantic, with both natural lighting and beautiful twinkle lights. We had several servers as our main server seemed to be training them, but the training staff were also so professional and experienced that you could not tell. To drink we had the Tropical Spark mocktail and added vodka. These were light, refreshing, aromatic, and exactly what a humid summer evening needs. The food went well beyond all of our expectations. As an appetizer we had Nanny's meatballs. These were large, hearty, and very filling. These were complemented by a beautiful homemade marinara sauce. For our mains my husband had the Tagliata alla Griglia and I had the Bronzino Piccata. WoW-just WoW! We had an almost silent dinner other than the "uuummmmm" noises that came with every bite. The steak melted instantly in your mouth and each bite was seasoned perfectly. The potatoes not only were cooked magnificently, but complimented the steak beautifully. My Bronzino piccata was heavenly. It was rich and buttery with flavors that danced throughout your mouth. The pasta was absolutely delicious too-and I strongly dislike pasta! I couldn't get enough. Zeppole is definitely a do not miss restaurant and I know the next time we are in town we will be going out of our way to have another meal here.
Had a lovely family get-together here, and it did not disappoint. The pasta was incredible, fresh, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The restaurant itself was beautiful, and the festive Christmas décor added an extra special touch to the ambiance. The servers were kind and incredibly attentive throughout our visit. We weren't guests at the Gaylord; we came just for the meal and thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Zeppole was absolutely amazing--seriously, one of the best meals we've had in Texas. We decided to keep it light and just go for appetizers, and they did not disappoint. The butternut squash crème soup was incredible: super creamy, perfectly seasoned, and so comforting. Then the nonna's meatballs (or "nanny" as some call them)--tender, flavorful, and packed with that classic Italian taste. Pure perfection. Our waitress was outstanding! She was on top of everything--never let our water glasses (or any cups) get empty, checked in constantly, and service was lightning fast. We showed up without a reservation (had no idea one was needed--oops), but the staff was so kind and accommodating, they made it work right away. Huge thanks for that! The atmosphere is unreal: it's this gorgeous indoor courtyard setup that feels like you're eating outside in the fresh air, but you're warm and cozy while it's actually freezing out. Such a cool, festive vibe--especially at the Gaylord. And I can't forget the bread that comes out first--warm, soft, and filled with that sweet cream cheese. It was the perfect way to start! We'll 100% be back next time we're in the area. If you're staying at (or even just visiting) the Gaylord Texan, make Zeppole a must-do. Highly recommend--great food, stellar service, and that magical setting!
Great service! Delicious bread and balsamic vinegar. Good selection of wine and cocktails as well. I love places that offer you the option of still or sparkling water. My favorite here is their frito Misto. It's served freshly cooked so just be mindful that it can be hot to the bite. Squeeze the grilled lemon for the perfect subtle tangy flavor. I like the "outdoor" area. It has an outdoor feel while still being inside the Gaylord Texan hotel. The only reason I am not giving this place a 5-star is because their entrees tend to be too salty. The Vongole pasta was salty. I came back the next night and ordered the rib eye steak and asked for less salt and it still came out pretty salty.
Fully enjoyed our dinner experience at Zeppole during our stay at the Gaylord. Service and food were fabulous! The dinning room gave al fresco dinning without the bugs and heat that's typical of Texas. The dinner rolls were amazing, stuffed with warm cream cheese and topped with tomatoes, garlic and oil. The rigatoni was great but even better with a side of meat sauce on top. The fettuccine was perfectly done, not over sauced and tasty topped with chicken. The pizza was delicious with cupped pepperoni. After the 4 hour drive, it was nice to settle in and enjoy a nice meal in an inviting atmosphere.
Zeppole is one of those places where you sit down, try the bread, and immediately know you're in trouble. Truly next-level. I had the lobster pasta and it was delicious: rich without being heavy, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. We also ordered the pepperoni pizza, and the crust was that perfect mix of fluffy and crisp that you wish every pizza had. Even the glass of wine was exactly what I wanted. The ambiance is warm and lively in the best way busy but comfortable, upscale without being pretentious. Service was friendly, attentive, and everything came out hot and fresh. Zeppole is an easy yes. I'd come back just for the bread... but thankfully everything else is just as good.
Zeppole's is inside of the Gaylord hotel. It's absolutely stunning. It has the appearance of being outdoors when it's not. Very romantic and quaint. Great location for a special occasion. When I tell you they made us feel special, I mean it! Our waitress, Savanah, was so kind and funny. The waiters replaced our water constantly and checked in on us. Definitely made us feel cared for. Now, getting to the most important part- the food was phenomenal!!! Everything was SO good!!! From the salmon to the vodka pasta. The asparagus, Brussel sprouts, corn risotto, and chocolate dessert. Everything was delicious. Even their free bread rolls were to die for! I don't remember the last meal I had where I was so satisfied with the food! If you like good quality food then this is the place for you!

While recently staying at The Gaylord Texan, we elected to have dinner here. This restaurant is evidently only open for dinner. They evidently only take patrons with a reservation, which we had made. Thankfully the concierge had made us aware of it in advance. The restaurant is really lovely, because of the atrium and the time we arrived the sun was shining in my husband's eyes which was a little annoying, but eventually it started to set and it got better. Service was friendly and efficient. We started with some meatballs as an appetizer. They were very good. The bread was excellent. I ordered the Short Rib Sugo with pasta. My husband had a Cesar Salad. Food was good, but not great. But the service and ambience made up for it.

We went here in September 2026 as part of our staycation at Gaylord Texan Resort. My wife and daughter love this restaurant and I like it too. We have been several times, and the service has always been excellent. This time, we had Erin again and she remembered us from a previous trip. She was friendly, engaging, efficient, and professional. We like her a lot. They change the menu every quarter and some changes are better than others. Sometimes, they take off the menu some of our favorites. Not this time. For an appetizer, we had the mussels, which are excellent. Mussels come in a spicy broth and the grilled bread is used to soak up that spicy deliciousness. The kid got her usual pasta with marinara sauce, and she likes the stuffed bread with burrata cheese. For entrees, the restaurant brought back the Branzino, which my wife loves. It was cooked perfectly, with a crispy skin and tender, moist meat inside. In the past I had the pasta fra diavolo, which was pasta with some lobster covered with a spicy sauce. That has now turned into ravioli fra diavolo, same concept, just in ravioli form. It was very good, and very filling, but not quite as spicy as before. For dessert, the kid and wife shared a Budino, which has been reconfigured but basically is a chocolate mousse. If you love chocolate, this is for you. I would be remiss if I failed to mention the Italian margarita which uses Don Julio blanco. Very tasty and has a nice kick to it. The ambience could not be better. The vibe is relaxed upscale. The restaurant itself is gorgeous. You sit "outside" but you are really in the atrium of the resort. We have been here twice. Once for a thanksgiving meal, and just recently. Both food and service are great. Reservations are highly recommend via Open Table. Everything we ate was delicious. The pasta was freshly made. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They have indoor and outdoor tables, but you're in the atrium, so you're not dealing with the Texas heat. I'd definitely go back. read more
Quick summary: Pricing, quantity, service inline with similar restaurants, however quality would be below. I'd rate a 3/5 because pasta was way overcooked for 2 of 3 dishes, 1 dish was extremely spicy but did not state on menu it would be, kids pizza was probably the best, and the tap water tastes like dirt (they should use a basic filter at least...). I've dined at a few restaurants at this resort over the years and as far as resorts go, I'd say it's on par with quality expectations (slightly above mediocre). Surprisingly the price is inline with what you expect at a decent, non-chain restaurant; expect $20-40 pp without alcohol (kids meals ~$10). The good: ambience was nice in the evening and especially liked the little table lamp/flatware/plating, though expect overall noise level to be higher than typical restaurant. They bring baked stuffed cream cheese bread to table upon ordering. Sauces in dishes don't taste basic/bland. Waiters/hosts are pleasant. Portion sizes are large, so you won't feel hungry after finishing your dish. The bad: (1) don't opt for tap water because it tastes like dirt water; switched to bottled still, which was better but for some reason still didn't taste right then went for Pellegrino. (2) the seafood fettuccine dish (Frutti di Mare Pasta) is very spicy. I had to switch the person that ordered because it was too much for them to handle - I eat spicy regularly, but this dish was much spicer than I expected. Muscles tasted off, shrimp good, scallops tiniest I've ever had (3) pasta for 2 of 3 dishes was extremely overcooked. The Pancetta Bolognese while had a great sauce, the pasta made it feel like I was eating a can of chef boyardee. (4) I was looking forward to the Burrata appetizer, but did not enjoy mostarda. I wish it had been the more typical tomatoes, vinaigrette, etc. The mostarda had an "earthy" taste which I would have sworn was beets, but those shouldn't be in the dish, so unsure what it was coming from. read more

Came here for dinner without reservations around 5:30 PM and I was able to snag a table at the bar area. Complimentary bread was delish! Soft, pillowy, cheese yumminess that I kind of wanted another. Ordered the Frutti Di Mare for my entree and it was so good. Plump shrimp, mussels, and fresh pasta in slightly spicy sauce. Service was great. Kevin was server Caesar with anchovies Cozze in Salsa- mussels, Pomodoro sauce infused with White Wine, very nice kick of spice that is just enough to coat the tongue without blowing out your taste buds, the mussels served in the shell with nice crostini bread. Frutti Di Mare - shrimp, bay scallops, mussels with n Arabiatta sauce - this is a must if your any kind of fan of a good spice or n your meal with some seafood in your pasta. The pasta was pleasantly not over cooked and a true al dente, and the Arabiatta sauce makes this all work. The service at the bar was attentive yet allowed to eat and drink in peace, great food and great libations helps take the edge off of eating a steak each and every night. We made a reservation while staying at the Gaylord and luckily were able to get in. The table we sat at inside had views of the hotel. I ordered the rigatoni and it was very good. My son likes spaghetti w sauce on the side and they were able to accommodate that as well. Server was attentive and they had a good wine selection. As most places in the Gaylord it's a little pricey but the food was good. read more
While visiting the Gaylord Texan there are very few options food wise without leaving the resort. Only open for dinner for a few hours, you need to make sure that you make a reservation. Luckily this can be done online. But be prepared to wait either way. As there are many large groups. That being said, the food is average, but not great for the prices. The soup I had was excellent, but the pasta wasn't good nor very flavorful. The service was good. The wait staff was attentive. The ambiance of the restaurant was very nice, although very loud. Most of the patrons here are staying for conferences and are very loud and heavy drinkers. So not a place for a quiet dinner. read more

We are staying at the Gaylord and opted to have dinner at Zeppole. It's a beautiful restaurant housed inside the atrium. We decided to try the meatballs as our appetizer and they were good, although a little firm. Not as soft as I thought they would be. The drinks were really tasty and although the food was delicious, the service was unfortunately a bit slow. Overall it was a good experience. read more
Service was great. But the food, not so much. I ordered octopus as an appetizer which was great. I then ordered the short rib pasta for my dinner. It was dry and tasteless. I added soooo much salt and pepper. Also added some spicy paste that came with my friends food. She ordered the spicy seafood pasta (but got the spicy paste on the side). I was able to take it from her because she didn't like her food and couldn't finish it. I found that most of the food options at the resort aren't good. But I would only come back here for the octopus. Drinks were even nasty lol. read more

While at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, TX, we visited this Italian restaurant. We were pleasantly surprised with the food. I liked the Zuppe de Laura. A bit spicy with the chorizo, but flavorful. I had the salmon which had a crispy crust on one side, nice twist. For dessert we had the Spumoni which was delicious. The ambiance was mostly quiet and confortable. Our server was okay. He didn't really add to the experience, but in general all was good. read more
Modest recommendation on Zeppole. Loved the atmosphere snd being able to sit outside while still being inside. We had a resy and were seated promptly. Service was attentive but a tad slow and the restaurant was not busy. Food was the bright spot. Excellent oysters. Seafood appetizers were good as were the scallops and brussels. We came to celebrate a birthday. They do give a free dessert of choice for the birthday person. You will receive one free round of bread for the table. After that it's $1.50 per roll. The sides are large enough to share. Our favorite sides was the octopus, the Brussel sprouts, risotto and Caesar salads. The fettuccine Alfredo could have used some more sauce and the chicken was cooked perfectly. The chicken Marsala was really good. The shrimp pasta was good and the short rib pasta - we thought it would come in Alfredo sauce. Overall service was amazing and we would come back. read more

Omg ! Where to start! The ambience to the waitress to the manager everything was phenomenal. I enjoyed a dinner here with my friends celebrating a bachelorette party. The food was delicious. I ordered the 14oz steak well done, pom purée and asparagus. The steak was juicy and the pom purée was so buttery and delicious the asparagus had a char grilled smoky flavor. All my friends and I love our food. The manager Grant was so caring and kind and made sure we had a great night. The service to the food was top notch! I really enjoyed my time here. read more

Lovely and attentive server for our party of 6. Presentation of drinks and food is on point. Cesar Salad was fresh and tasty. The seared scallops don't look like a lot, but they are quite filling actually with the risotto. They were good, but could have had a little bit more flavor. The dessert I forgot what it was called, but it was delicious! A chocolate mousse with little crispy bites. Great spot for dinner if you are staying at the Gaylord Texan. Oh and the dining chairs at the round tables are super comfy...even comfier after you are full after a big meal! read more
