Ok... well I am very disappointed with the meal I received... where do I start... I love lumpia I really do but this lumpia was terrible ... over cooked big time... to the point the moisture was sucked out completely from the inside. I got a 2 entree plate (which I planned to eat there but wasn't even asked and was stuffed in a to go container) with the pancit noodles (the best part of the meal by far but still not great) with chicken curry and the goat dish. Who the heck puts whole chicken wings and legs (bone an all) in curry?!?! Curry was bland and not very saucey. The goat dish I was excited for... but again disappointing... the meat was covered in a tasteless gravy and there were more bones and gristle in that dish then there was meat in both my entrées!!! Lots of little bones!! Clean it up people!! The coke a cola I got toped it all! Lol Won't ever go back. Good luck to this place and good riddance. read more

wasn't expecting much from this place but at least there's a filipino spot to try in the armpit of california Closed at 9pm showed up at 815pm, me and 2 friends rolled out from avenal. Lady was mad that we showed up 45 minutes to closing time and was trying to rush us out but we gave them business, I even bought some old ass tasting pan de sal and dried up ensemada that i fed to the birds. On top of all that the lady didn't even let us eat in the restaurant so we had to eat in the car on some bum shit The food is 5/10 i got the beefsteak and menudo the rice was dried out, hard and krusty as fuck lady was rude. i probably won't be back here Bye read more

I had high hopes when coming to this place,the pictures of the food just looked delicious upon coming here. I don't know if the day was just slow or what, but the food did not look appetizing at all. It looked really old like it's been sitting for a few days. The pompano fish looked very old and dry as well as the fried rice and meat dishes. We stopped here on our way to Yosemite and had a really good experience coming to Zeny's. The food is really affordable. You can choose either rice or pancit which is a noodle and then you can get 1 or 2 entrees. I just chose 1 entree, a chicken in coconut sauce. I got the pancit, but the lady said the entree was really better with rice so she also gave me some rice. They also have fresh BBQ that they make right out front. The other entrees are on a buffet. We also got an order of lumpia which are filipino egg rolls with beef. They were pretty good. For dessert, we tried an egg dessert and also a milky white rice cake, not sure what the names are for those. We took the desserts with us because we were full and had them later. What really won us over on this place was the karaoke. They have microphones and everything. We sang a couple of songs each in our group of 4. The people working there were also really enjoying it. Their lumpia is good. Pretty bummed that they only serve Shanghai lumpia. Sometimes I'm in the mood for veggie lumpia and they don't have that. I've been here a few times and get their adobo, pancit, pinakbet, and when they have it their kare-kare. The adobo was lacking in flavor, but then again, nothing compares to moms adobo. Pinakbet was good, pancit was good, and their kare kare was lacking in salt. I used a ton of bagoong eating it so that there was some flavor. Hello, I'll start off by saying that I am a Filipino mix and grew up on Filipino food. I moved here from Virginia Beach where Filipino cuisine is all over. I was so glad to find there was a Filipino restaurant I could go to here in Lemoore and I am not disappointed. This is by far the best Filipino cuisine in the area in my opinion. If you aren't trying to travel too far for this type of food, then this is a spot to put on the go to list. Whenever I crave Filipino cuisine, I always come here. Give it a shot! I did it again. Went in for Lumpia and got pancit and pepper steak. Pancit and pepper steak were terrible. I ended up throwing both away about 1/3 into both. Pancit had almost nothing but noodles and the pepper steak was tough with zero flavor. Lumpia was OK. How can someone who can't cook open a restaurant? Happens a lot unfortunately. read more

I used to come here all the time when we first moved to the area because we didn't buy all the house hold appliances that we needed like a fridge and stove, and while the food was really good in the beginning my recent visits left me feeling cheated of what they used to serve up. I like the atmosphere, and if you come during lunch time, you'll have better options then if you come during dinner time. The food itself is nothing really to complain about, it's the selection. When we first moved here they had more of a variety and had more of the things I liked. Now they still have a variety, just not always things I associate with home. I can get pepper steak any time, easy. Good adobo on the other hand, I don't always see there. I have faith that any time I go there I will usually be able to get good food, but not that I was usually be able to get the classic Philippino dishes I crave. One problem I do have is that there are a lot of times that they leave dishes on the table for a long period of time even when they aren't busy. read more

Their food tastes very Filipino-American mixed. Some dishes like dinuguan and sinigang taste authentic, but they do cater to American pallets with dishes like orange chicken. Their pancit has very good flavor and includes meat (chicken I believe), and vegetables (carrots, celery, cabbage) try it with vinegar, lemon juice, or calamansi juice to bring out more flavor. The fried rice is dry in my opinion, best to stick to the pancit. Their staple is shanghai lumpia (meat egg roll). You can buy individually or in trays for parties. The lumpia is always fresh and taste amazing (comes with sweet and sour sauce) if you don't eat the lumpia at the restaurant be sure to vent the box I comes in or else it will get soggy. They have several different dishes like bqq chicken and pork, Filipino menudo, adobo, longanisa (sweet sausage) that are all friendly to American tastes. Overall their food is a great gateway for Americans to try Filipino food and gives Filipinos a taste of home. Food itself I give 4 stars because the food tastes best fresh, but can be greasy/inconsistent depending on who's cooking that day. For service I can't really give a score because I've had very good and very bad service. They seem to hire family members to work (which makes sense). However, the servers are not always the best with customer service. My biggest complaints is that there are several servers at once who don't really coordinate and that they try to take multiple orders at once (often screwing over people who have been there much earlier than others). For the coordination issue if you ask for something or they are called to the back you can talk to 2-4 different people trying to set up one order and it gets confusing as each one is trying to help at different stages. For the multiple orders issue I've witnessed people wait for certain dishes (like lumpia) with multiple people in line, and someone who was 3rd person in line try's to make and order, but before they can complete the order the 4th person behind them has taken all of one dish. This gets annoying if someone has been waiting 15+ minutes, and another person who just got there wants to get an XL order or a party tray immediately. This happened to me a few times before to other people while I was there, and to me the last time I visited. I was in line for about 10 minutes and I wanted 2 combo plates, but before I could get a second combo plate the person behind me got all the pancit. It would be more efficient if one person takes the order and the other makes runs to restock the food instead of multiple people going back and forth in between orders. I have always liked visiting here when I'm in town and craving food from my childhood. The food I give 4 stars, but the inconsistent and sometimes aggravating service I took a star off. read more

I called over there, spoke with Jerry who wasn't very pleasant when I asked to speak to the owner or manager and insisted on knowing why. Went to Zenny's for the first time yesterday 09/27/16. The food was not as good as we expected or as these past reviews claim. If you are looking for bland and pricey for small portions this is your place! Purchased fried rice, lumpia, and pancit plate. I did NOT want rice I wanted just lumpia and pancit but the older lady rudely replied that the rice is included in that plate, like I am paying either way so why did it matter? I've eaten Lumpia from Zeny's maybe 100 times in my life, but tonight was the first time I've ever actually sat down and ate inside the restaurant. The owner, and other staff, were very friendly and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. When our family of seven sat down to eat he even brought over some free rice cake dessert for everyone. It was like a cupcake of some kind and the kids enjoyed it. I'll keep this short. I placed an order for a party tray of Vegetarian Lumpia. I called 3 days prior & they accepted my order. The night before the scheduled pick up, i called to confirm since the time agreed upon was before the restaurant opens. Confirmed. All set for tomorrow. On the day I went to pick up the order, nobody was in there. The establishment was closed, lights were out. I called 3 times, nobody picked up (obviously, coz the shop was closed). Decided to wait and after 30 minutes, i got a call from the owner. She said they weren't able to get the tofu needed for the vegetarian Lumpia and asked if I would like Pork or Chicken Lumpia instead. I don't think i need to explain how I felt & what I think of how they do business. I'm sure others have had better experience here. All i'm saying is a call the night before would have prevented me from driving to Lemoore from Visalia for nothing. And i believe tofu is available in any oriental store or even Walmart. read more
