Everything can improve. For one thing change your Oil every day not once a week. Don't put food out from the day before.

My wife has a good friend named Zeny. So when my Mom suggested we have lunch here before heading to Tachi Casino, we were all for it. They are located in downtown Lemoore. When we arrived, there was one couple before us. We dined at the restaurant. While we were enjoying our meal, there were plenty of other folks who came in and ordered food to go. Pretty popular spot. I was pleasantly surprised to notice that most of the folks who came in were not Filipino. Good thing to see because the majority of Filipino restaurants we've been to in America have not had non-Filipino customers. They are not a traditional dine-in restaurant. Over here, their food is already cooked and you just point to what you want. Maybe you can order something else from their menu if they have it available. My wife and I shared a two item combo. Portion size was reasonable, and we left satisfied. Overall, each one of us in our party of six was pleased with the Filipino food. Friendly service plus good food at affordable prices make returning to Zeny's Restaurant a high possibility the next time we return to Lemoore. read more

Was visiting from Fresno and thought I'd try this place. It was around 2 pm and only one couple was dining in. As I approached the counter to order there was one older Filipino lady working (I'm guessing Ilocano from her appearance) and she looked very unfriendly. She had a mean ugly look on her face. I said "Hello. How are you". No response. I said it again in Ilocano "Kumusta ka" No response. Kumusta is also hello in Tagalog so I'm like maybe she doesn't hear me. I asked if she talked. I know this was a little sarcastic but I was trying to find out what her problem was. Her response was "yes" in a very unfriendly tone. At this point I told her I was going to get something to eat somewhere else which I did. I don't do unfriendliness or rudeness as a patron. Won't be back. I don't know how the food is, but if you're expecting a friendly smile or cordial greeting you won't get it here. We came here for dinner the other night and it was terrific! The service was excellent and it is a local mom and pop restaurant. We order the pineapple ribs, orange chicken, noodles, chicken menudo, and lumpia. The lumpia were perfect with a great meat filling. The orange chicken had a great crispy crunch and good flavor. Classic spot for seriously tasty Filipino food. Reasonable variety on this menu and easily costumizable. Love that they have a selection of not only Filipino dishes to order from, but a variety of cold drinks and snacks to choose from as well. Some of my personal favorite things from here obviously include their Lumpia's, Pancit. chicken Skewers, the Strawberry flavored Mogu Mogu drink, and Caramelized Sticky Rice when it's fresh! A+ lumpia. Enough said. They do lumpia by the dozen and their lumpia is to die for! Stuffed full of meat. Hearty portions and super fresh. The move here is to stop in and grab a dozen lumpia to go. A dozen is a perfect portion to split. Wouldn't recommend dining in, as it's a hybrid market/restaurant type deal. However, lumpia take out. Can't go wrong! Also, they will cater/provide you with 100 lumpia for any party or occasion! I believe 100 lumpia will run you somewhere around 60 bucks! We usually go to Tropicana but they were so I thought I'd give Zeenys another try. We bought a large pancit, approximately 5 egg rolls, chicken adobo, 6 banana fritters and maybe something else. The pancit was bland,the egg rolls just had some hamburger meat, also no flavor and the fritter tasted ok, the adobo was so oily and had so much vinegar that it wasn't edible. They ended up paying $84! My wife and sister bought it and I wasn't there. if I was I wouldn't have spent that much for something that should've cost 1/3 that price. And the only thing we could eat was the fritters and the pancit. I didn't think Zennys could be worse then before but they are! Tropicana had much better food but they were just sold so I don't know how they're going to be. But they were 100% better then Zennys. And no , I'm never going back there. I was surprised to find a Filipino restaurant in the middle of nowhere. We were in town for a baseball tourney and decided to try this place out. Price is reasonable. They give you huge portions. We tried the following: Lumpia - it's decent. I can't really say it's shanghai coz they are big. Not the traditional way of making shanghai where you put in the uncooked filling in the wrapper then fry them. With the size of these things, you can't really do that or you'll get a raw center. They precooked the filling, wrapped it, then fried it. The downside to this? It's on the greasy side. Pancit - Not the best. It had good flavor, but needs some salt. It was bland and oily. Definitely needs the lemon. Dinuguan - needs more vinegar. Oily as well. My tongue was getting coated with oil as I ate it. Menudo - you guessed it! Oily. Bland as well. I gave it three stars because it's good enough if you are craving Pinoy food in the middle of cow town. read more

Went in around 6:30, said to close at 8. They were out of most things I was going to order. I was able to get chicken curry (good flavor but full of small bone shards), lumpia, sausage, and pancit. None of the latter items were worth finishing due to either lack of or off-putting flavors and/or textures. The chips I purchased from their store area were all crumbs upon opening as well. My total for these chips and one to-go box worth of food was almost $30. I am really disappointed with my experience as I read good reviews and had never had Filipino food before. This place is located in a good area! Coming from San Diego with lots of filipino food around this one really comes close to home! Stepping in- it's big and spacious and a lot of seating, smells good, desserts, movies, snacks for sale! It's a turo-thro place! I got 3- 2 entree combo. 1. Half pancit half rice, adobo and menudo, 2. Half pancit half rice, adobo, and sinigang, 3. Half pancit half rice adobo and dinuguan and 6 pcs of lumpia and 3 sodas! The young lady serving has great customer service, she's bice and sweet and the auntie brought out fresh fried tilapia! I asked for bibingka with the banana leaves under it but they didn't have any at the time! It's okay but the food was delish!
