Oh hell no. We just…read moremoved to a new house and needed to get some type of TV service going meaning the choice was between cable (nope, sorry never again), DirecTV or Dish. Dish currently has the best pricing and so I went online to set it up which should be a relatively simple process, right? Nope. I won't go into the long, horrible story but I'm now on my third rep over 4 days and between online chat and the phone, it's well over 2 hours of my time. Bottom line, they messed up during the credit check process and ended up "locking" me out because they pinged it so many times. They promised a call back to complete the process which of course never happened and when I finally did get set up complete they tried to bait and switch me to a more expensive package. On top of that, more than one rep tried to get me to give them a second credit card number - even though they acknowledged the first one worked just fine. Super, super, super shady. The whole process was time consuming, inconvenient, frustrating and more than a little sketchy. There are very limited choices for TV service in this market and I believe all of them suck. Know that Dish is no exception and in fact, sucks HARD.

And on top of that the one phone took me almost 2 months to get it ported over and now I'm told I have to wait another 60 days to use it . I am NOT satisfied but everytime I call I speak to a chatbot and then a person who has a limited amount they can do except repeat everything the chatbot said. When I ask to speak with a supervisor I am told they are not available and I need to wait and unknown amount of time and they can't call you back. VERY DISAPPOINTED and UNHAPPY with AT&T. Will have to change back to Verizon.

Calling to cancel ATT TV, you can't cancel via the net, they continued to attempt to talk me into staying. Other TV suppliers have the same services for less than half the price and ATT. The ATT TV app also is terrible, takes a long time to load, buffers all the time , even one of the service installers had mentioned it was an bad application.

The one repair I needed, I called on Friday and a repair person was here on Monday. They found the bad connector and I was back up and running. The latest call was for the re-locating of my dish after a new roof was put on. A suggestion was made to maybe put it on a pole instead of the roof. I took there suggestion. Will gladly pay the extra$35/mon to go back so I can have ACTUAL phone service. 15-20 times a week I get an error message saying I'm not connected to a network to make a call or text. This happens at work, at the grocery store, at a park or even in my home. I've missed calls from my kids school nurse and other important, time sensitive calls! What use is this brick if I can't make or receive calls and texts??? I'm just happy I can pay off this phone with my next paycheck and get away from this terrible company.
