A couple of months ago, I was on stage putting my Blue Baby Bottle microphone into the shock mount. I accidentally ended up twisting the outer case of the mic and sheared off the low cut and high decibel switches. This is a great microphone and getting in touch with the manufacturer customer service was futile since they were bought out by Samson last year. Dennis was my last resort. Because of the backlog due to Covid, Dennis told me there was a 24 week wait, but that it was a simple repair and he would try to fit it in between other projects. He even offered to save me money by showing me how to take it apart so I could get the part numbers for the switches, but I decided to let him do it since I'm just a musician. A week later, my microphone was done. I was so happy to have it done quickly and it sounds just as good as before. Electromania and Dennis get my highest recommendation.

I called ABT and spoke with Lou (his direct # 847-954-4140). I did some research before I called and liked the Samsung 55." 4K NEO QLED, originally $1,297.99, on sale for $897.99. Lou stated, "They had a sale starting tomorrow (Saturday) and that he could sell it to me for $651.00." Great! Lou said he could have it delivered next Tuesday. I explained my mother's situation and asked if it could be delivered tomorrow, on Saturday. Lou said, "I'll make it happen." Now that is exceptional customer service! Josh Hoffman was the technician who delivered and set up my mother's new Samsung TV. Josh programmed the Xfinity remote to the new TV, and my mother accidentally hit something that made the TV verbally announce everything she did. Josh asked if she wanted that, and my mother said no. Josh was quick-witted and a comedian; he had my mother laughing. You certainly can tell when an employee loves their job! What they have is not just a few DVD's but a library of probably every movie, boxed set, special limited edition known to exist. If they have over ten thousand DVD's I wouldn't be surprised. There were also games and even 2 pinball machines, with a change machine located just steps away. At the front of the store there is a few restaurant equipment items. I think I saw a soda machine and a stainless steel prep table. Not sure how that ties into everything else in the store but it's there. I did stick to my list of what I was looking for and I will definitely be back again. The employee who helped me was great. I was picky with what I wanted and he was genuinely happy to help. I'm disappointed that I didn't know of this place years ago but I'm glad I found them. While I was there an employee did take a phone call to answer a question about an item being in stock. The space they are in is a huge space, maybe during my next visit there will be more stuff to look through.

I figured maybe $25 bucks for a two minute job but he wanted $90.
