A couple of months ago, I was on stage putting my Blue Baby Bottle microphone into the shock mount. I accidentally ended up twisting the outer case of the mic and sheared off the low cut and high decibel switches. This is a great microphone and getting in touch with the manufacturer customer service was futile since they were bought out by Samson last year. Dennis was my last resort. Because of the backlog due to Covid, Dennis told me there was a 24 week wait, but that it was a simple repair and he would try to fit it in between other projects. He even offered to save me money by showing me how to take it apart so I could get the part numbers for the switches, but I decided to let him do it since I'm just a musician. A week later, my microphone was done. I was so happy to have it done quickly and it sounds just as good as before. Electromania and Dennis get my highest recommendation.

Unfortunately due to water and environmental conditions the bottom rusted and leaked, necessitating replacement. Abt could not have been more helpful, in this time of need. The Abt office (Nathan) immediately and fully addressed the situation. The Abt plumbers delivered fast and truly excellent replacement with a new Reliance 50 gallon hot water heater and installed all the necessary copper pipe, valves and fittings---including full labor at no charge. The plumbers (Russell Cartwright and Tyler Fite) installing the unit were very meticulous and highly competent in every detail. They also were extremely helpful and courteous. I have used Abt exclusively for over forty years and recommended their products and service to numerous other home owners--no one has been disappointed. I think I saw a soda machine and a stainless steel prep table. Not sure how that ties into everything else in the store but it's there. I did stick to my list of what I was looking for and I will definitely be back again. The employee who helped me was great. I was picky with what I wanted and he was genuinely happy to help. I'm disappointed that I didn't know of this place years ago but I'm glad I found them. While I was there an employee did take a phone call to answer a question about an item being in stock. The space they are in is a huge space, maybe during my next visit there will be more stuff to look through.

DO NOT BUY A DISHWASHER FROM GRAND!…read more I had a dishwasher installed on June 23rd. I was told that everything went well with the installation. The dishwasher lost power by July 9th. I put in a request, a service person from Bodewell came out on July 20th. Replaced the motherboard & said I should be all good. The dishwasher lost power again by July 24th. Again, I put in a request. The same service technician from Bodewell came out on August 3rd. A new motherboard was installed, he said that he had replaced boards once on dishwashers but not twice. He said that everything was installed correctly. By August 6th I had water in the bottom of my cabinet, which I didn't attribute to the dishwasher. I clean that up & thought that was from my sink pipe....it was NOT. My dishwasher again loses power, I tell GE I need a new dishwasher. They tell me until the servicer says it can't be fixed then repairs continue. Today, September 2nd, a new repair person from Unique came to assess the situation. He finds that against plumbing code the water gap pipe was not set up properly. That explains the water issue. The wiring under the dishwasher was not connected tightly which was the reason for the outages. Because I didn't know what to look for & was told everything was fine with installation I signed off. I have no options & am stuck to fix this issue myself
