My husband and I took our 46" TV into Allis TV, on the recommendation of a family member. I can…read moresafely say I would never take any appliance here ever again, nor would I ever recommend this business. We took the TV in back in late December 2010. At the time of drop off, they told us they would call us to let us know the status, and when the part was in. We have yet to receive ONE PHONE CALL (it is now April, 2011) from this company. Since we are obviously the ones having to make the calls to them (When we can reach them - see #3 below), we've received different excuses as to why the TV is not ready. It seems when we call, they are very unorganized and don't know where our TV is, or even the status of our TV. We are highly disappointed. At this point we feel like we should call the BBB from all the runaround, hassle and shady tactics of this company. We don't even know if our TV is there anymore, or if they have gone ahead and just sold it. (see #1 below) 1. Their receipt states that "all TV's not picked up within 14 days of contact will be kept and sold." Really? How is it possible for us to know this, when you're not calling customers back? So do we assume, since we are the ones making the calls at this point, our 14 day window is now expired? 2. They had initially stated the part was on it's way up from one of their dealers in Chicago - and then changed their story to state it was coming from overseas. 3. Business hours : the person in charge of our TV was only available from 4pm to 7pm. Wow! If I wanted to work hours like that I'd be fired. In a nutshell I would never recommend anyone to go to Allis TV for any sort of TV or small appliance repair. When we do get a call from them, (and again - why should we be the ones calling when they clearly stated they would call us to let us know the status) I intend on speaking my mind. If our TV is even there, I'd not only be wary of the repair, but the price range that was quoted us. Stay far, far away from this company.

EXCELLENT refrigerator repair! Our 4-year old LG frig's compressor died. Because it was under…read morewarranty, we needed to contact the company. Lucky for us, the certified technician they assigned us to was Patrick Kaiser. Communication was exceptional. He was even able to get us moved up on their schedule. Patrick is also certified to do warranty work on Frigidaire and Electrolux appliances. He can also work on Midea and Criterion appliances. If your appliance is out of warranty, he can also work on Samsung, Whirlpool, Maytag, and KitchenAid. Patrick is personable, professional, and positive. I highly recommend his company, ELITECH. Avoid This Company - Unreliable Repairs and Zero Accountability…read more This company does not stand behind its work. We hired them to fix our LG washing machine, which was showing an error code. The technician diagnosed the issue as worn suspension rods and insisted it was worth repairing. After replacing the parts, he left without even testing the machine. Unsurprisingly, the same error code appeared immediately when we ran a cycle. When we followed up, we were told the old parts had already been discarded, so a return and refund for the $160 in new parts was "not possible." The owner then suggested replacing the rotor and another component--repairs that would cost nearly as much as a new machine. That's not a solution; it's just throwing more money at a problem they failed to fix in the first place. The owner refused to take responsibility and left us with a broken appliance and a wasted repair bill. This is completely unacceptable. A professional repair company should verify their work and offer real solutions when repairs fail--not leave customers worse off. Do not trust this company with your appliances. You risk wasting your time and money.
