One of those things was reducing the number of keys hanging from my steering column and belt. A couple years ago while in the area, I stopped in this shop to replace a cracked vehicle key before it broke off. I saw a gold padlock on the counter with a house key in it. "You guys can actually make padlocks that use house and office keys", I asked. It was explained that it is possible. I immediately had some padlocks made for me, drastically reducing the senseless number of keys hanging from my steering column and making a small part of my life far more simple. For me, this was a great idea because I'm the only one working all these locks. For someone else who has a number of people working a bunch of locks, ...maybe give that some security thought.
