I showed Adam the estimate that I received from the roofing company I was going to use. I pulled up files with the names of the other companies that's sent representatives to give me estimates. Adam felt strong that Mark would be able to beat the price. What I thought was rude and unprofessional was his attitude about other companies. He also mentioned that he contracts the work out. He delivers the materials, but usually is not on site for the job. He explained to me that his jobs are, 'Fillers' for a group he has worked with for ten plus years. If he has worked with this group of guys for ten years, why has his company only been incorporated since 1-2-2024. What was the name of previous company and why are reviews from 2024-25 only? If he speaks so highly of them, why contract? They have other jobs. I made it clear I want to work with a company that employs their crew. He did not respect my opinions. What happened to respecting the customer and allowing the customer to have an opinion?

UPDATED & RESOLVED Updated: 09/02/25…read moreAfter leaving my google review, corporate got in touch with me to offer a full refund for everything. They were very apologetic and told me they had been in contact with the local branch. The local branch manager also reached out to me to apologize and confirm the full refund. I thought this was a generous resolution and very much appreciated it. ORIGINAL REVIEW: Unacceptable Service & Communication - Forced to load their trucks for them and left with a ton of uncollected junk. We are a non-profit youth program that recently attempted to clear out four storage units worth of items. Much of it needed to be disposed of, so we hired Junk Punks MKE to help us clear out. We don't expect any person or company to be perfect, but every single minute of their service was one problem after another. Here was the series of events: 1. Late Arrival - The crew arrived 30 minutes past the scheduled time window. 2. Truck Already Full - The first truck showed up more than half full from other jobs. 3. Breakdown & 4-Hour Delay - That truck then broke down, and it was four hours before a replacement arrived. During this time, we had to repeatedly call to get updates as there was little communication from them. In all my experience with disposal and moving companies, they have procedures in place for trucks breaking down, Junk Punks clearly did not. During this time we ended up taking several loads ourselves with our own truck. 4. Second Truck, Same Problem - When they finally returned, the replacement truck was again over half full of other junk. 5. No Crew Left - By this time, the majority of the junk team had gone home for the day, leaving us to load the truck ourselves. That is labor we specifically hired Junk Punks MKE to provide. I do want to commend Meech, I assume he was the team leader, for being the only worker to return. He was apologetic, and doing his best alone -- I felt bad that the rest of the crew left him in that position. 6. Unfinished Job - The second truck quickly became full again, and because it was the end of the day they had no plans to return to collect more of it. Because of this, we were forced to rent our own U-Haul longer, incurring an additional $185 in rental costs on top of the disposal we must now complete ourselves. 7. No resolution - When I reached out to their company, they told me they would give us a total of $350 off for the inconvenience. I had felt this to be fair enough of a resolution for the experience. However, they never processed the full refund or sent additional communication. Since we ended up doing the labor for them, it would have been cheaper for us to just rent our own trucks and do everything ourselves. We do not recommend Junk Punks MKE.

I recently hired JA Homeworx, LLC for a roofing and siding project, and I regret choosing them for…read morethe job. While the initial communication was professional, the final result was disappointing. They subcontracted the work, which I wasn't fully informed about upfront, and the quality of the work clearly reflected that decision. The attention to detail was lacking, and even today, if you closely inspect my home, you can still see the inconsistencies in the work. When I reached out to the company to express my concerns--not only about the aesthetic issues but also about water spots and condensation forming on my ceiling--their response was slow. Jeff quickly dismissed my concerns, suggesting I get a second opinion if I wasn't satisfied with their work or that I could refer to the installation instructions. Upon reading the instructions, I found that their contractor hadn't fully completed the job, which added more items to the list. They agreed to come back to make repairs, but the crew that arrived simply removed most of the tape I had placed and poorly applied globs of caulk around my home. I requested another walk-through of my home, and they sent Jordan out. While he was more pleasant and professional, he was still slow to respond and made me feel as though I was asking too much. As of today, four months after the initial work was completed, they've fixed what they could, applied a lot of caulk, and hope they've found the cause of the leak on my ceiling but have failed to address the condensation that forms down an entire exterior wall. Here's to putting this project behind me, while I'll have to learn to accept the poor workmanship, I'm just hoping I don't encounter issues down the road.

First, the work is completed by subcontractors, and while the quality is great, communication is lacking. Jobs are rushed, and details are overlooked. The second job JA HomeWorx completed was at our rental in Platteville for hail damage. The repairs involved replacing gutters, the roof, and some siding. Again, the quality of their subcontractors was excellent, but details were overlooked. The three main issues were that the window flashing was not the correct color, a gutter was placed incorrectly, and water meters were removed and thrown away. They did give me a credit for the incorrect flashing color and helped the city replace the water meters. The gutter issue wasn't fully resolved, but I accepted their solution after it was moved twice. I have attached pictures. The house did not have a gutter running down the front; their subcontractors installed the gutters without knowledge of where the original ones were located. They did make multiple trips to try and resolve this issue, but this job was rushed, and details were overlooked. Jordan admitted that this job was rushed to get it completed ASAP because we were selling the house. The third job was also for hail damage on a four-unit condo building. The one issue was I was promised that we would schedule the repairs so I could be onsite (I didn't want details overlooked again). I was very frustrated that I was not given any notification that repairs were going to be made and only became aware of them when notified by one of the owners who were home.
