From start to finish, Rodriguez Landscaping has done great work for me. The job started as a new retaining wall and stairway. As my plans grew last summer, so did Rodriquez's involvement. When Dave came to estimate the job, he was clear that I'd have about a six month wait due to their schedule and frozen ground. However, I was able to negotiate the immediate addition of a new concrete walkway which they could squeeze in between two other jobs. That willingness to be flexible helped me avoid a muddy pathway all winter long. In early spring, I checked in with them about scheduling my retaining wall. I got a speedy return call saying that if the weather held they'd be able to do that job between two larger ones delayed by the rain. A crew came the following week at 8:30 and worked till 6:30 each day. Wednesday was cut short by a downpour, but the guys came back for a half day on Saturday. They also cleaned up really well each day, causing a couple neighbors to stop and thank me for their thoughtfulness. All that flexibility in scheduling was possible because they had ordered and secured the materials six months earlier. During construction, I added a new concrete pad for an air conditioner. I also learned that my new fence would require tubes for concrete to be installed. In both cases Dave came over promptly to update the quote so there were no surprises. However, there was a big surprise throughout the project: people walking by, driving past, or making a specific trip took photos, shot videos, rang the bell to chat and ask questions. I ultimately needed to ask the guys for some business cards. From quote, permitting, and supply ordering to execution and clean up, Rodriquez earned 5 stars. read more

Tried this business last year and was very pleased with the service and felt the cost was very competitive. They removed 2 trees and a large bush and ground down the stumps. I wanted to hire them again in October 2022, but only get a voicemail when calling (3 + times) and no response when I left a message on their site. read more

Highly recommended to as two of my friends used their services with great results. I misunderstood for my first meeting with Dave... I was supposed to wait for an hour to meet with Dave. But, I thought it was ON the hour, so I waited 15 minutes, called the office, no answer, so I left a message. I never got a call back the next day. I left an email message once again asking what happened. Finally, I got a call from the office basically to tell me I was wrong & made a mistake, no apologies for no return call. Dave supposedly showed up "& no one was there". Then why not respond to my first call wondering if I made a mistake, so that I can apologize for my misunderstanding?! or better yet, provide Dave's number so we can call them directly. I received the quote today in the mail -- unexpectedly, since who mails things these days, but the quote was a little high for tree trimming, and I will be contacting them again to see if they can lower the price. Neighbor recommended company to me (I am a widow) to tear down old bathroom/porch area & build new porch. After many, many request to Fabicio (owner) to please supervisor his help - I ended up having to be the main contractor supervising his help. Like not using all pressure treated lumber as contracted - different color trim. I d believe the help did not know that I had the brains to see the difference, I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM FOR ANYTHING - such POOR Management. Plus the help did not speak English & I had to use my I-phone translation app to communicate with them & then they would hand me their phone to speak with Facicio. I have kept all correspondence with Fabicio & can back this all up. I also have all cancelled checks that I bet were not placed into the business account (my opinion only)- I believe this may be tax fraud????? IRS may want to check this out. First of all, I don't live in California! I live in SW area of Milwaukee! Upon first contact with the company, we scheduled an onsight inspection of what I needed done. Raul was very polite, got a pad of paper out to make a diagram and also sprayed areas that were to be worked on. Took a little time to get the estimate in the mail, but it was right in the price range I was willing to pay, very reasonable considering the weeds were like a jungle against the back of the house and up our planters lining the drive. Front bushes all had been grown together and needed a good trimming and shaping back into balls as they had all grown together. I needed two small trees cut down and neighbor's trees that were over growing into our yard. Got a call that he was sending over his guys. Very polite and good listeners! Went over it all again and they got right to the job at hand. I checked the bushes in the front when they were done and I was extremely elated they had done such a great job! They did everything I needed and did an excellent, more than excellent job and cleaned up the mess really well, carted off the debris, even emptied bushels my Dad had started to fill with leaves. Found my gardening utensils, too which were hidden in the weeds and nicely put them all together for me. My yard, since my dad died in May looked like hell and now looks so good, I can't believe it! I'm doing my happy dance right now! I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND RODRIGUEZ LANDSCAPING to everyone I know who can't do the work themselves! Experts at what they do. I called for some mudjacking and should have been concerned when the call went straight to a robocall voicemail/generic voicemail that left me wondering if I even had the right number. I received a callback in a couple hours, and the scheduler made an appointment for Roul to meet me at the house with a one hour window on a Suturday. Long story short is that Roul was a no show, and my calls while I was waiting and after I gave up went unanswered and have still gone unanswered several days later. I contracted with Rodriguez Landscape Company to remove 2 dead pine trees from our back yard. Their prices were competitive, and the people I spoke with were polite and professional. I had an easy time scheduling, and they were able to come out within about 2 weeks (this was in mid-June). The men who removed the trees did so in an organized, neat fashion, and cleaned everything up very well when they were done. I have no complaints, and would definitely use them again in the future for other tree removals on our property, or recommend them to others looking to do so. read more

I was having a very hard time finding a landscaper to even give me a quote, and the one I did came back over 300% higher than what Dave ended up quoting me. When I requested the quote, the response was almost immediate and I had the quote 2 days later. The job was completed two weeks later. Review for Snow Removal. The first year we used them, they were timely but last year it seemed like they couldn't be bothered to remove the snow before agreed upon times. They also ran the snow plow into our fence and took a chunk of the wood out and didn't seem to care. At all. This year, they cancelled our contract pretty late in the year (after several years) saying they simply couldn't physically do it anymore. I got a quote from them last fall for seeding my lawn and adding a raised garden bed. I asked to be present when Dave came to do the quote, but he came when I wasn't there. The quote was very reasonable though so I decided to go with them. Then, Dave and the crew came a few weeks ago to start the project (without ever officially telling me they would be starting that day) so I was at work. I rushed home and they had already roto-tilled the area. I tried to talk to Dave about what I wanted done (since this was the first time I'd met him) but he rushed me along. He said he had somewhere to be in 30 min and didn't have time to talk! I was expecting some consult time to discuss where to put the planter, his advice (he is the professional after all and I am paying for his opinion), etc. I got nothing. He left quickly and the crew did the work. He rushed me so that I didn't even get to look at options for the fencing around the garden bed. I definitely would have picked different fencing and I am not very happy with it. I called him a week ago to tell him this and politely offer my feedback. After I expressed my disappointment with being rushed and never getting to consult with him what I wanted done he said, "Ok." So he obviously took it to heart! If you are looking for a professional to help you with ideas and, you know, landscaping stuff, then I would chose one of the more professional teams in town. For general work, he is probably ok. I was quoted in November 2018 of a price to cut my yard of $40 when I got my bill it was $140 and it's a year later and this company still hasn't made any adjustments to my bill this company is a total rip off and if I had a known that I should've read the reviews I would never do business with them again. Yesterday the Rodriguez crew came to our home in Bay View to replace sod in our front and back yards. "Creeping Charlie" had gotten into the yard and was spreading. I had a couple of add-on areas for them to take care of and they did them too. They were courteous, very professional and cleaned up after the job was completed. I waited for him to show up on a Saturday morning between 9 and 10 AM for a consultation on landscaping, he never called and did not show up, so I left to do some work. He called and left a message at 10:35 saying he was delayed and was now on his way from other side of Milwaukee. I never heard anything more.
