This is our 1st time coming here and I scheduled a deluxe Fathers Day package which included 1 hour full body massage, hot stone back rub, peppermint head/scalp massage, chocolate covered strawberries with choice of mimosas, peach Bellini or sangria. When we arrived we used the specific texted directions to get buzzed up the the office and where to park. It seems parking was street parking was easy to find for being this area. The lobby was very clean and had a relaxed feeling and high healing atmosphere. We had Abby and Sara do the massage and I am so happy that both of them made the massage just perfect by the perfect amount of pressure and getting g the individual mentioned areas that needed to be done. After the massage, you can go to an additional comfy, relaxing room to enjoy strawberries and champagne. I really liked the choices of deep tissue, Swedish or just relaxation massages. The high quality and time of the massage was over a 10 on a scale and totally worth the price. They did have a Father's Day special so I would ask about when scheduling. I booked a basic couples massage with my partner. We visited their Englewood location since their Denver location is currently undergoing renovations. The space itself is very welcoming and relaxing. Obviously a couple's massage means two therapists. I found it difficult to get all of the instructions at first because both therapists were speaking to both my partner and I at the same time. My therapist in particular did not share any of the instructions for how they'd like us to prepare for the massage (how to change, how to lay etc) so I relied on asking my partner what his therapist instructed him to do. We were also asked just before the massage if we would like to change our massage from basic to romantic. At no point was this referred to as an upgrade, was an increase in price mentioned, or the differences between the two types of massages mentioned. I declined the change in massage because I knew I booked the basic massage for the price point and assumed the romantic massage was an upsell (it was.) Once we were undressed and on the tables, our therapists then asked if we'd like the CBD lotion or regular lotion. I'd remembered reading about the CBD lotion on their website when booking, and mistakenly assumed it was included. Again, nothing was mentioned about this being an upgrade or costing extra. ~~ After looking back, this is offered as an upgraded service when booking, which I opted out of because again, I was interested in the basic massage for the price point ~~ While the CBD oil is very nice, I did not appreciate the oil be rubbed all the way up into my hair. I left the massage with a greasy scalp, which was especially frustrating as I'd had an expensive head spa treatment immediately before this massage and my hair and scalp had just been freshly washed. My partner did not have this particular experience, so looking like my hair hadn't been washed for a week was just an issue for me. I do also think it's worth mentioning that the 25% gratuity was already selected for me when I went to check out. While I will always tip for wonderful service, something about having the highest option pre-selected before I've been presented with my bill rubbed me the wrong way. They did offer us chocolate covered strawberries following our massage which technically was not included in our package (but is for other options,) and that was very generous of them to do so. The massage therapists (I'm so sorry I forgot your names or I'd give you both a shout out!) were friendly, extremely talented, and empathetic. I requested a few special areas to focus on and my therapist hit everything I asked for in addition to doing the full body massage. The massage was so soothing to me I burst through with tears in my grief after we were done, and the staff could not have been kinder or more understanding. My massage therapist gave me a hug and I felt a genuine human connection. They really were wonderful in a difficult time for me. Also! I visited Zen'd Out Spa for a couples massage on April 27 and unfortunately had a disappointing experience that I've made multiple attempts to address privately -- with no response. I often travel to Denver for work and typically visit another spa, but decided to try Zen'd Out for a change while in town with a friend. The massage felt rushed and lacked the depth and attention expected, especially given the high cost. I came in with mild neck pain and left with significantly more discomfort -- which was surprising, as a massage a few weeks earlier had greatly improved the same issue. Had it only been a mediocre massage, I likely wouldn't have written a review. However, the sanitation issues were too concerning to ignore. The bathroom had no soap available, only hand sanitizer. After the massage, we were given towels to use on our body to wipe off oil. When I opened my towel up, I saw two medium-sized, wet brown stains and appeared used. I'm thankful to have looked before putting this on my body as instructed. These are basic hygiene standards that any professional spa should meet. I'm disappointed to have spent $300 not only on a mediocre massage, but at a place that failed to meet even basic standards of cleanliness and professionalism. I've sent two follow-up emails and made a phone call, during which I was told the owner would contact me. It has now been over two weeks with no reply. I had hoped to resolve this privately, but the lack of communication has left me no choice but to share this experience publicly. I got a couples massage and facial. For $450 it was definitely not worth it. I've had massages and it doesn't feel like they have proper training. It felt like the guy massaging me was improvising the whole time. The facial was poor. I asked if there was a sink to rinse off my make up before we started. The guy I was working with said no and that he would use a hot towel on my face. He laid the towel on my face for like 30 seconds, patted it down on my face, and lifted it off before brushing a subpar mud mask on my face with makeup still on it. He didnt even put it on my nose, i had to ask for him to apply some.He was rough wiping off the mask and didn't even get it all off. He obviously didnt know anything about facials. He rubbed my back foreveeeeer. It wasnt like a rub with different techniques to get all the areas, he just kept rubbing the same things for like an hour i feel raw. When he finally started rubbing my arms he kept touching my side boob. I told him to just rub my forearms bc he was going into my armpit and rubbing up on my boob. When I finally got flipped over he was trying to rub my armpit and onto the top of my chest saying that he needed to rub that area bc it was tense. Bro doesn't know how to massage, he touched my armpit and somehow knew that my boob was tense, tf outta here. Hand and Stone is cheaper, the employees are trained and legit, just go there instead.
