I've been going to Lodo Massage for a few years and have seen Monica regularly for the past 6 months or so and she is amazing. She is very sweet and easy to talk to and she literally works magic. Every single time I come out of an appointment I feel completely refreshed. She takes the time to listen to what areas are bothering you and is great about checking in on pressure. AMAZING! I got a gift certificate to LoDo Massage. Since moving from Chicago were I had a place I loved, I hadn't found I massage therapist I really liked until now! Allison was amazing. She took the time to speak with me about my pain points. She confirmed pressure and any issues during the start of my massage. She definitely helped relieve pain in my elbow that has been going on for weeks now and the tension in my back caused my stress and sitting at a desk. The place is located in an old house that sits back off the street which helps keep it quite inside but made it a bit difficult to find. I have had pain in my left shoulder for a few months. I came in for a deep tissue massage and finally found relief after months of lingering issues. It was a pulled muscle and my massage therapist was able to work out all the knots and I had, which was a lot. Highly recommend a deep tissue massage if you need to release tension in your neck, shoulders, back, etc. I feel a million times better than when I came in. read more

I didn't get a massage here. They require a card on file to schedule an appt, which I've never heard of. I tried to book a couples massage for my parents coming in from out of town and they required that I either pay for the massage in advanced or that the credit card on file had to be for the person getting the massage. While they have good ratings I wouldn't use this place because of this difficulty and complete inflexibility. Adding a bit more after a quite lengthy response from the business. I have received massages every three weeks for the last 9 years and never once been asked to hold the appointment with a credit card at over 15 other studios. Asking to hold a credit card, like a hotel, is fine if you charge a different payment card upon completion of the service, per client request; which they will not do here. read more

Best massage in the city HANDS DOWN (hahaha get it?) Professional and they treat their therapists well. And happy therapists mean happy customers. They are intuitive and kind and talented in their work. The atmosphere is lovely and comfortable. Honestly I'm shocked at the one star review here. How can one be offended over the fact that a place requires cc to hold a reservation? For an upscale massage place where therapists out in their days and hours to keep customers happy, it makes sense that in order to avoid frivolous cancelations that come at the expense of the therapist and not the parlor, that they require a cc to keep the appointment in good faith. I've given this studio 5 stars before but I have to expand because as a regular customer now this place is the BEST! From the way they make scheduling easy to how nice the staff is, this studio is top notch. But what truly keeps me returning are the massage therapists. My husband has been thrilled with each one he's tried but I always make sure I'm scheduled with Jodi P. Her massages are always the perfect amount of pressure with the right mix of relaxation and healing. I have tendinitis in my shoulder and her recommendations and massages were a huge help in fixing it. I recommend Jodi and this studio to anyone that is looking for a world class massage! read more

I feel bad because I went for about 8 months in 2021 and forgot to leave a review. I had a work back injury, and Allison helped relieve and heal it from the first meeting. She asked my comfort levels and if I was interested in different methods (cupping, different bodyworks) and gave great recommendations. I kept going to her for about 6 months after my injury had healed. Unfortunately, I moved and have not been able to find a massage therapist as good since then. I highly recommend her! read more

Perhaps my hopes were too high, but my experience was not so nice. My boyfriend and I tried to book close to our hotel and had a time, but someone booked online as we were confirming, so they suggested the other location. It would've been fine if we didnt have to drive so far away, but that was added to the stress of no parking. The massage was not full body (as requested) and ended up making me feel worse. Plus the masseuse kept pausing to drink something and blow his nose. Wish the experience had been better, but even my boyfriend said his was not the best. Sad to be out the $150 read more

This was my first experience at LoDo massage studio. I have had many massages before, but when I moved here to Colorado I have yet to find a place that met my needs as far as back pain and neck pain goes. Nikki did one of the best deep tissue massage is that I have ever had. First off, I came looking for pain relief. I pulled my back last Sunday and then strained it again on Saturday. Not good - I was twingeing and had to lay on an ice pack just to be able to drive to the location. I had Michael for a 90 min mile high session. I needed to get this sorted. Massage was great, he's really nice and professional, never was too painful due to my back, but he also really got in there and he knows quite a bit of eastern style techniques. The CBD oil helped too. So when I say that he's good - I mean it, because after going immediately so bed and waking up this morning with the pain almost gone - he's good. The massage place was a little hard to find but that probably was because I was in so much pain. I would completely recommend him, and let me tell you why. I'M ALSO A MASSAGE THERAPIST. Lodo Massage- Highlands delivers! I tried to book a couples massage at the Downtown location last minute and I was recommended to the new Highlands location. Had a wonderful couples massage beside a warm fireplace and could've just melted away by the great touch of the therapist- Rachel. My partner had a pre-natal massage by Sasha and she absolutely loved the massage and the provider. It's so nice knowing that Lodo massage hires only the best and most well trained therapists to provide massage services for their clientele. Both massage therapists were lovely with kind personalities and very focused on delivering the best possible massage. This location is small, but certainly meets even the pickiest standards for cleanliness, comfort, and service. The massage room affords either a solo massage or has room enough for a couples massage experience. I loved the fireplace! Lodo massage uses aromatherapy and really wonderful lotions infused with great smells. The whole experience was just so lovely and inviting. We both felt great leaving in a bliss cloud after our massages. I highly recommend Lodo Massage and this location is wonderful if you're flexible on where you go for an appointment. My boyfriend and I were spoiled in the fire-side couples massage. My favorite part was that the tables were even heated! The room was so warm and comforting. The vibe of the entire studio was very welcoming and definitely made you feel at home. Bonnie was the therapist that took care of me during our visit. She was extremely nice and did a great job at listening to me while we discussed my problem spots and areas of need. I have had many massages and she pulled out some surprising new moves I have never experienced. I was extremely happy with how well she read my body. I didn't want to leave, tried to convince them I booked a 4 hour session instead of 1!!!! Starting off with the business, it is a small very cozy office. Welcomed as I walked in the door and very simple to get signed in. Maret quickly took me into the room which had perfect dim lighting, nice little fire place, and as soon as I got on the table I was in heaven. Soft sheets on a heated table!!! Already have fallen in love with the place, Maret came in and started the massage. I can't put into words how amazing she was. I have a bad back which causes most of my body to ache and she made me walk out of there feeling better than I have in years. The perfect speed, pressure, and I'm guessing technique as I've never quite had a massage like that. I may have ruined my body in the military but Maret fixed me at LoDo Massage Highlands. This is my first time today and I was very disappointed. My massage was supposed to be at 11:45 and it started at 12 which was not a problem but my massage therapist ended my 90 minute massage 15 minutes early. I ended up paying $120 for a 75 minute massage. I definitely won't go back, I'm disappointed I had this experience because I was excited it's so close to my house. read more

I do admit that I am a former body worker so I do have higher expectations than most; however, I feel that the quality of the massage, the facilities, and the staff were not the most professional/therapeutic. One example is that the body worker did not even warm up my muscles at all before going in deep and the room that we were in (apparently a couple's massage room w two tables) was very cold in temperature-and my body mostly runs hot. I certainly am not writing this so that the body worker is called out, more so that your recruitment process is more stringent/comprehensive. WOW I had the best couples massage EVER! 60% of the time I come out of a massage wishing that they would have gone deeper, I'm small so masseuses tend to go soft on me even if I tell them that I want and can handle deep pressure. I took my daughter with me to get the Mile High massages here where they use Apothecanna's Pain Crème, which is infused with THC and CBD. Sasha and Kim were our therapists, and they were absolutely incredible. I suffer from a back that is riddled with problems, and Kim knew exactly where and how to touch and massage me to make my pain go away. Her expertise and knowledge, accompanied with the CBD/THC was exactly what my body needed. I get a lot of massages, and Kim's was by far the best I've ever had. She was strong without being hurtful, with soft hands, and a tenderness about her that was so special. The room itself was beautiful...it had a fireplace! So pretty. The music they played was excellent, and my daughter said that Sasha was equally wonderful. I wish we could've stayed for yoga afterwards, because that definitely woulda been the cherry on top. These ladies are incredible, and the fact that utilize CBD's as well is so incredible. Truly healing. I've never felt so good after a massage. I love LoDo massage. The two therapists I had have been knock out amazing. I'm from SAN Diego and moved to Denver 7 months ago. It was hard for me to search for a really great spot with good deals when I got here. I've been getting massages on and off for the past five years so I'm picky about the spots I choose hoping I find a good therapist who does deep tissue since I carry a lot of tension. When I found LoDo massage right next to my work I read the five star reviews and took the opportunity to try this place. When I met Rachel I didn't think she was going to be strong enough to release the tension in my shoulder blades since she seemed small (not judging I'm small too ! Lol ) Every masseuse I've been too has said that I have a really tight back and shoulders.. usually they can only do so much but twice going to Rachel she's been able to dig deep into my scapulae and release the tension and loosen up my knots. She has a technique that is Deep tissue work but also soothing and relaxing. Today was my second time seeing her and after a couple of Months of long laborious work being a server full time and always having to carry heavy bus tubs as well as drinks and trays consistently my body is worn. I have been sleepless but today's session for an hour and thirty minutes she was able to loosen up my back and I walked out feeling super refreshed. I was so happy. I usually don't like to get massages too much because it costs me a bit but when I do I make sure it's going to be well worth what I'm paying for and coming to LoDo it is. I also had Mike for the first time a month ago. His technique was different but, it was also amazing! He went straight into work on my neck and I didn't realize how much tension I held there too. He hit so many pressure points that I didn't know of as well!! I like Mike and Rachel the best so far. I think I may switch between the two. Today was most definitely a day where I needed Rachel to work on my shoulder blades and a soothing deep tissue massage, but the next session I will most definitely have Mike again as he focuses on stretches, and pressure points! I've had two really excellent massages here. In fact, I'm now sold on LoDo Massage Studio over Symmetry, where I've been going for several years. LoDo boasts a quiet, low key environment, there is always availability, the massage therapists are very thorough and really listen to what you want, and the massages last as long as you're promised, which I've found not to be the case at Symmetry the last few times I visited there. The prices are also more reasonable at LoDo, and the promotions are more frequent and useable! read more
