I went in for a prenatal massage with Jenny at 33 weeks and she was so attentive and paid close attention to my needs. While sitting at my car dealership, I was struck by the urge for a massage. After weeks of divorce stress and working out, my muscles were tighty and crampy. I searched around for a place that had online booking, availability for that day, and was on my way home. Renew was surprisingly the only studio that met all of this criteria, so I finalized my appointment. You might have realized that I made the mistake of booking WHILE still at the dealership. I mean, being there takes an infinite amount of time, and I was worried about getting charged a late fee. Renew was so great with phone and text communication, allowing me to be flexible and arrive as soon as I could. Navigation was easy, and there were plenty of parking spots in front. I walked in, and the receptionist greeted me with an iPad to conduct contactless check-in. I was led to my massage room, where Emily gave me a run-down of all expectations and procedures. Kat gave me the best massage I have ever had. Her awareness of my muscles was incredible. She would bring the intensity right up to the max without ever crossing it. She was able to release tension/back pain that honestly, I was beginning to think would never be released. I highly recommend getting a massage from Kat. It was like she scratched an itch that I've been trying to scratch for years. Seriously amazing. This place has an infrared sauna which is really good. If you're used to the heat I would ask them to crank it up before you come in. If you don't ask them they'll set it to 115 which isn't very warm. Also note they don't have to a shower. read more

My therapist told me I didn't need to wear a mask if I was vaccinated (which I am). I asked her if she was vaccinated because I wanted to protect her. She said no. I wore my mask. I booked my appt here based on the reviews. It was an okay massage, but I specifically told my massage therapist I wanted deep tissue and what my target areas were. I got a lot of back rubbing, which didn't do anything and didn't help me relax. I had to keep telling her to go deeper, which after saying it once should've been understood. I also explained the areas I wanted worked on and got a very basic all over massage, which isn't what i wanted or needed. I felt it wasn't really worth the money on this massage, but my therapist was super sweet. She did make me feel very comfortable. The setup streamlines all of the things you don't want to distract from the relaxation you get from your massage. I started seeing Ana for Prenatal Massages at the beginning of my second trimester. She has been a godsend during a time where I physically feel taxed by my ligaments and body learning to accommodate a human. She always is attentive to the right amount of pressure to work the stress out without it ever feeling like too much for a prenatal massage. I was disappointed by this studio. The administrative staff was curt and unpleasant. I paid extra for an upgrade to CBD-infused oil, which didn't feel any different from normal massage oil. My therapist was fine, but did not seem strong enough to give a firm level of pressure, and seemed to run out of things to do by the end of our session. For the high price of this studio, I will not be returning. read more
