We did not have a good experience. We have had multiple massages and nothing ever like this place. Firstly, I was booked for a combo massage, which we found out was in a community room ( not what we were looking for) however I requested a private room and was accommodated. Then, my masseuse left the room to argue about the type of massage I was booked for, then they stopped my gf's massage to ask her about what we wanted. At this point several people began arguing and it was a total bad vibe. So then my gf decided, we had had enough. So the manager continued to argue with us and told my gf to "SHUT UP". I took my mom here for an early Mother's Day gift and we both got massages. It was our first time here and we had heard good things about it (especially since their prices are great); however, we did not have a good experience. First, it's hard to understand what their services are. There is no description of services in the lobby (only pricing) so you have to look on their website to view them. We had questions about the various services, but the staff was not able to answer them. (Most of the staff barely speak English.) I believe what I got is the "foot reflexology" service (based on the online description), but the woman kept calling it the "combo massage." My mom chose a Deep Tissue massage (which she always does at other spas), so she was in a private massage room, unclothed. My mom has the highest pain threshold of anyone I know, and she said the pressure was way too hard. She asked her masseuse multiple times to lighten the pressure and the woman kept up the deep pressure, despite my mom saying "ouch" multiple times. My service was done in the "foot reflexology lounge" and I was clothed. She started with a little face massage, then neck, arms, feet, legs, then back. I would not recommend. She was missing all the pressure points, and kneaded my legs so hard (in the wrong spots) that I have internal bruising all up and down my calves. I knew that I would not be in a private room for my service, but it wasn't super relaxing to hear all the other guests checking in and asking questions, as well as the staff speaking to each other during my service. When we went to check out, they informed us that we would be charged a fee if we paid by credit card. So they requested that we pay via Venmo. And their "tip guidelines" list a tip of over 20% as "fair" - last I checked, over 20% is a great tip! My mom and I are both super sore today and will not be going back. :( read more

Located at a strip mall along Colorado Blvd, this little establishment is one you would typically ignore, but we decided to give it a go. My gf and I love getting massages together and we had the combo package, for 45 dollars we had one of the best massages in Denver. We did not get the private rooms, and they had a common area with massage tables/beds. The music was calming the both masseuses did an amazing job hitting all of our knots and tight areas. I particularly loved the way my masseuse was able to use her elbows around my upper back. I highly recommend checking them out if you need a last minute massage or Chinese reflexology. read more

Hmmm. My boyfriend and I went to get massages here tonight and neither of us left feeling relaxed. He asked for the 60 min combination massage and I asked for the 60 min Swedish. We both ended up getting the combo? No where was it advertised that we would be in the "community room" while we received this service. Very uncomfortable having to sit up right for the first 30 mins-- wasn't very good for my lower back pain-- or having to be massaged in a room full of chatty strangers. My boyfriend said the woman was on her hands and knees on his back and kept slipping off, kicking him in the process. The man doing my massage spent more time on my feet than any other part of my body. While the foot massage felt nice, he hardly touched my shoulders/neck. Both massages we asked for were advertised to have a hot stone treatment included too, and neither of us received that. On top of the subpar massages, they have a very aggressive note near the check out counter instructing to tip upward of 20%. $10 for "fine" service and "$20" for excellent service. That's half of the cost of our massage. Very disappointed in what we thought would be a relaxing night. Wouldn't come back or recommend to anyone I care about. read more

I've been sitting on updating my review with the hopes each experience here was just a fluke but it has just been getting worse. As this place has become more popular, they have other customer service (lack there of) practices that have come up that have made it less desirable and not the same quality that made me originally love it. It stinks b/c I really liked this place and have brought others to it for that reason, but it's just not the same. The setting is really nice & comfortable, its just that the other customer service elements have gotten out of hand. They take walk-ins when they can. I am fine with the understanding that as a walk in, you may or may not be able to get in...not my first rodeo... I happened to try for a walk in when I was in the area one day, asked for an hour foot and was taken right back. Into my massage it was interrupted several times, where I never got to relax, with finally stopping the massage to tell me that they had an appointment coming in and they now couldn't give me the full hour but would only charge me for 30 minutes, which I hadn't even had 30 minutes at this point anyway. They rushed through another 5 or so minutes before sending me on my way. They were not busy at the time but apparently didn't have enough staff. I didn't complain...paid, and went on my way. So, from this point I realized I would have to stick to appointments here. No Problem. I was in the area, and after trying to call for an appointment for a few hours, and not being able to reach anyone, I decided I would just swing in to make an appointment for later that day while I was running errands. I waited 10 minutes in the front of the store and not a soul ever checked on me so I left. Another time I came in and apparently got a new guy which was the absolute worse reflexology foot massage, and he seemed more about trying to "stretch" me but in ways that were not natural or relaxing, to the point of pain. I have had a bunch of reflexology and it was just a bizarre technique all around. I knew the owner wasn't in for me to speak with this particular time. Paid, and went on my way. Each time, I just head out without saying anything or making an issue, & think, "Guess I just need to stop coming here." The final thing that has me going elsewhere now is the aggressive "tipping policy" sign at check out which requests a minimum $10 with notes that this means the massage was just ok, $15 for good, $20 for great.....This is unbelievably more than what a 20% tip would be for their basic services ($30 for 60 min foot), which every where else, 20% tip is understood to be for very good service. It isn't even a polite or reasonable suggestion...it comes across a bit demanding, and this practice just doesn't sit well. read more

This place is awesome. It's way cheaper than Massage Envy or Hand And Stone, and the massage was way better. Every time I've gone to a chain massage place, they always start late, finish early, and half the time it's a whack massage anyway. At Good Day I got a 90 minute massage and left a fat tip for less than either of those places cost me for the massage alone. GDS had a lot of availability, they took me back early to a private room (there is a group room where you can get a massage over your clothes) and gave me a full 90 mins massage, it was easy to pay, and it's just all around good experience. I felt wonderful afterward. I read some of the other reviews and I don't understand the bad ones. They want good tips, I would too if I was a good masseuse. They already charge way low prices for the massages. I'll happily tip someone $30-40 for a great 90 minute massage. 20-30 for an hour, just depends if it's really good or not. The staff was ready when we arrived. The community room where we all had our sessions was tranquil and very clean. The session starts with a warm foot soak. I appreciated that they used lotion instead of oil for the massage parts of the session. I dislike getting all greasy in the middle of day. Price was very affordable for one hour. Do not get the deep tissue massage! Waste of time and money! The massage form and technique was not professional at all, definitely did more harm than good. I did ask multiple times for the pressure to be less and the masseuse did not adjust and continued to not use her hands or fingers AT ALL and used her elbows and forearms to squeeze me like a tube of toothpaste. I thought her technique might improve with time and that is the only reason I didn't leave immediately. I did ask for a full body massage but only received an assault of the back until I multiple times had to ask the masseuse to go to my legs. I am left feeling incredibly sore and hurt more than I had come in. Masseuse was also incredibly unprofessional and commented on and poked my tattoos and giggled.
