I made a reservation for 90 minute couples massage for $160 on their website. They sent a confirmation text with directions 10 min prior to the appointment. When we arrived at 3:55 I let them know I had an appointment at 4 for a couples massage and they requested to see my confirmation message. I showed them my confirmation email and text message. We were quickly showed to a room for 2. We got undressed and lied face down. It started off rocky with there being so much static on the sheets and the masseuse shocking my boyfriend every other second. My masseuse was super light with her hands and I felt like I wasn't getting a massage at all but a light rub down. Occasionally, when she starts using her elbows it would be more pressure (obviously) so I'm thinking maybe I don't need to ask for more pressure but when she switches back to just her hand/palm it then becomes super light. I requested for more pressure and she did start putting more pressure which was nice. I'm not sure why but, my boyfriend's masseuse told mine to switch with her after she goes to the bathroom. Why are you taking a bathroom break during a session? That just doesn't seem like good practice to me. After my masseuse was switched, she definitely had more pressure than my first one but it's not even regulated. For the back of the neck, you're not supposed to put as much pressure due to its sensitivity but she would use the same pressure therefore it would be extremely painful and uncomfortable. There's also no direction nor consistency with their massage at all. My knots in my back weren't really worked, my feet weren't really massaged either. One side of the body would be done well but the other side would be mediocre. When we flipped over to our back, they didn't cover our eyes with a towel either for that extra sense of security/comfort in darkness so it was a bit awkward that I was able to open my eyes and see everything that was happening. We left a $30 tip since it wasn't horrible but it wasn't great either. They tried asking for $20 minimum each so $40 total but I explained to them that it wasn't great with there being no consistency to their pressure. Thankfully she understood (probably since I explained in Chinese) and I was able to leave with just a $30 tip. Personally, I would not come back again. read more

I have been coming to see Zoe for 6 months. She's amazing. Unfortunately the owner SUCKS. Zoe was out with an injury. So the owner/manager stepped in. I said, I have been in two car accidents and I need a deep tissue. I don't want elbows digging into my back. What's the first thing she starts doing is digging her elbows into my back. I politely remind her that my back is tensing up and I cannot have a deep tissue with elbows. She then rips the sheet off my body leaving my body exposed and storms out of the room. YES, this is the owner or manager I am not sure who. But after I am left naked with nothing on me, I get up to get dressed. She then berates me saying she has been doing g massage for 15 years...I said I don't care how long. I asked you to not use your elbows into my back and for the reasons why. Well she just got Zoe a really good client. I see her twice a month, sometimes more. Ripping the sheet of my body like that is beyond unacceptable and disgusting behavior! It was easy to use their website for online booking and payment. I received a confirmation email and a text reminder on the day of the massage. When we arrived, we were greeted with smiles and kindness. The spa was very clean. It has a cozy feel with dim lighting and peaceful music. The massage was AMAZING! Diana did a great job of feeling out my entire body to find the areas I needed the most work on. She spent the perfect amount of time on everything. She used medium, firm, and deep pressure depending on what was needed. I didn't have to guide her on anything. This was one of the best massages I've ever had. I left, totally relaxed and satisfied. Jenny massaged my wife, and she was just as pleased with the service and the massage. She felt so good that she wanted to make another appointment for the next day. REALLY! I also undressed as much as I was comfortable and they respected that, so I really appreciate that they make the experience as comfortable for one as possible. Floating this barely on a three star review. Got the Groupon which instructs to call to set up an appointment. This place can be reallllllly difficult to set an appointment up with unless you use their website, and there were other communication issues/language barriers. Tried calling several times and no one answered for a few hours nor could I leave a message. I did get a call back later in the afternoon and was told they were booked and to try later. So I did and this time it said the number wasn't in service, then that there was technical issues with the number. I decided to just walk-in and see if I could get an appointment. I let them know I wanted to schedule an appointment with my Groupon and the lady was a bit gruff with me but I think it was just a communication issue. The actual foot massage was nice. Wishing I would have read more reviews before coming here! I purchased a Groupon and called to make an appointment. The minute they found out I was using a Groupon they were rude. I showed up to the appointment and during my massage the lady doing the service proceeded to take 2 phone calls. I had bough the package with full body massage with essential oil and hot stone. After the 60 min was up she informed me I was done but never used hot stone. When I went to leave I told her thank you and her response was "no tip?" I then told her I didn't have cash. Even though I definitely didn't think she deserved it I asked if she had Venmo. She told me no. I said ok then sorry I don't have cash. She said I could use a credit card. I then said well you charge a fee for credit card and I just don't feel comfortable. She then got on the phone with someone and spoke in another language then proceeded to show me a random Venmo QR code. I told her I wasn't comfortable and she began to lecture me about how her job relies on tips and I need to tip. I told her it's very unprofessional and uncomfortable for her to ask me for a tip after providing a not so great service. Just came back from a trip to Los Angeles. Me and my husband were so tired and decided to have a massage. We searched on yelp and found the garden spa which is near our home. It was so impressed when I got there by the inside environment. It is beautiful and clean. Just like the name "Garden". The massage therapists are very helpful and professional. Me and my husband had the 90 mins combo massage. Both of us were enjoying the massage so much. We were relaxing all the time during the massage. It's a superb experience for me. You get what you pay for... I went there for a reflexology massage but instead got a mixture of a food rub and a whole body massage. I couldnt communicate with the masseuse because she only spoke manderin. It was very awkward and i had to get up twice in the middle of the massage to take off my shirt and later my pants because nothing was communicated in the beginning. It was also not very relaxing since there are no walls and a few times they were talking loudly throughout the whole building. The massage itself was a mixture of rubbing (with way too much lotion) and pulling on me which made me wonder if the masseuse had ever been certified in it. At the end, when I was about to leave someone (probably the only person that spoke english) came up to me and asked me where my tip is. When I told her I wouldn't be tipping for this service she started to persuade me and almost insisted on me tipping my masseuse. I explained that tip is on a volunteer basis and that I generally tip people that do their job well and not for a service that leaves me more stressed and tense when I leave the building. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is that I got a full 60min treatment and it wasnt cut short. So yes, it is a cheap massage, but for me absolutely not worth it! read more

I have been to several Massage Envy locations over the past 10 years and I have paid over $80 for one hour sessions or $100 for 1 1/2 hours sessions and the service and professionalism that they showed far surpassed any massage from Massage Envy masseuses or hospitality. The location was very clean. Ive called around to several locations and I hardly can ever get a massage same day. At the Garden Spa, I was able to walk in without an appointment! That's a huge deal for me. I paid for 60 minute massage and received a full 60 minute massage. At Massage Envy (and I've gone pretty frequently) would advertise an hour and really only give about 45 minutes. He massages my sinus area, ears, head, shoulders, arms, hands, then feet. He spent a nice amount of time on each area. After my feet he had me turn over and gave me a full shoulder and back massage. I did the 60 minute reflexology appointment. There are beds instead of chairs. The appointment started 10 minutes late. The overall massage / reflexology was ok. Be prepared to get oil in your hair when receiving the head massage. The worst part of all is they demand at least a $10 tip! It's extremely unprofessional to demand to be tipped a certain amount.
