Lucy was amazing. Very firm pressure, some would say painful but it was what my body needs and release my knots and tension. Did 75 minutes and I will do 90 from now on as I am now a loyal fan of Lucy. I know I have a blocked meridian and my vagus nerves are tense and locked up, Lucy picked up on this and really worked those areas. Great scraping work on the feet and handsbas they are super crunchy. I will budget to see Lucy weekly until I get somewhat back to normal as my body needs help more than my monthly massage appointment. If you are new to "foot massage" it is a full body experience. Best to wear a tank top and shorts and pull your hair into a tight ponytail as no part of your body will be left untouched. You are fully covered with a towel, you stay clothed, but you will have your arms, tush, hips, legs pressure massaged and stretched. Nothing inappropriate, just full, deep body work. Is it relaxing? no. It is rejuvenating? yes. Is it painful? a bit. Is it therapeutic? yes. Will it put you out of your comfort zone? yes but get over it. I was trying to keep my brain from focusing on the sore, tender state of all my muscles, top to bottom as Lucy was working on me, so I focused on being grateful that this older woman was putting so much care and attention into my tired body and helping my body heal itself. The session room is a cool, dark, common space with 6 open beds. Nothing special but pleasant. This is not a spa. You are there for body work. Always be generous and tip 20%+. They charge $60 for 75minutrs which is great, $70 for 90 minutes, so bring some extra $10 and $20 bills with you. They work so hard and it shows, and I am grateful. read more

Great experience. Not a sex shop a great family run hard working place. Perfect for us.

Fantastic massage!!Found this online and it did not disappoint ! I had the 60 min foot massage but they work on your back and head also. This place was amazing!! read more

Best 90 min reflexology foot and body massage I've had in a loong time. Will definitely be back. This type of massage is intended to shape your body back to its natural exoskeletal alignment. You will feel it, and thank yourself afterwards wondering why you waited so long. Update: back 3 weeks later. Will be back again for sure. read more

I came here to get combination massage a couple months ago and i specifically came here for deep tissue massage because that's what I thought my body needed at the time but I was wrong I think not felt worse the next day and I was extremely bruised on my back. I couldn't relax at all throughout the whole experience. Then i decided to come back to give them another chance. This time i made sure to let them know I want them to go softer. It felt like I had to repeatedly let them know to go softer because they wouldn't listen to my request and kept going hard. I also noticed that the workers have a lot of side conversations as they are massaging everyone even giggling and the guy that was doing my massage was even sipping on his cold drink and then putting his cold hands on me. Which I thought was disrespectful, i honestly couldn't relax and enjoy my massage at all so I'm not planning on coming back ever again. read more

These ladies have hands of gold!!! Prices and services are beyond reasonable - will be coming again!!

The quality of the massages and foot rubs are incredible. I believe my masseuse. His name was Heather. Everything about the actual physical massage was on point. Very relaxing very soothing, helped get the knot out in shoulder. You can't beat the price that's for sure an hour and a half massage for 60 bucks is way better than able to get anywhere closer to downtown. However, the ambience is no thrills. It's not a very fancy location and there is a childcare center in the back that occasionally her children playing. But again, if you don't need to be served your massage on a silver spoon and don't mind a little bit of grit the actual massage is well worth it. read more

I've been getting combination foot/body massages for a while, but it was my first time here and it was perfect! It's the best one I've ever had with the perfect amount of pressure so I'm feeling loose and relaxed for a great price. I can't wait to come back! read more

This massage was one of the best massages ever. They had great feeling that was very calm with nice music looked calm l.

The massage was ok but clearly it was by amateurs. Friendly staff but you had to change room in the middle of the massage to get the back massage. I payed for a foot and back massage and in the foot massage room there was someone snoring and the employees did not wake the person up so we had to sit through that.. read more

Forget about ambiance, fussy, overpriced massages, when you need to get out the kinks from your tired, achy muscles, this place will do the trick! Don't let the casual setting in a strip mall deter you from a great full body massage - from your head to your toes! Go for the Combo! Favorite weeknight date night for my husband and I. No frills, all skills. read more

Very clean and friendly The music is nice as well, very relaxing. This is our go to spot for massages!

They were nice and it was clean. I got a 30 minute foot massage and they also did my shoulders. No pressure to overly tip like some places. I would definately recommend. read more

Super good massage !! One of the best massage places that I have been to. $45 for a 90 minute foot massage. It is actually a head to toe massage. I walked in with a major tension headache. (I had taken Excedrin tension headache pills but it didn't work). Great deep tissue massage with lasting effects. Any massage feels good while it is being done, But a good massage makes you feel for the rest of the day. Ladies there have a very strong grip and know what they are doing. I left this place with NO headache and felt really good for the rest of the day! Please make sure that you go in with loose clothing. read more

Looks like they're somehow pulling negative reviews so do trust this place. I left 2 reviews last year and they're both pulled off, just because they were negative, apparently. I have permanent nerve damage in my feet and ankles from a "massage" at this place in August 2020. I've spent thousands of dollars at this point in tests and treatments. Be warned. You may come out damaged, permanently. If I could give it one star I would. read more

I've gotten a couple deep tissue massages here and I couldn't be happier. YES, deep tissue hurts but afterwards it makes such a difference in your overall movement. I injured my shoulder working out and it would always bother me, my range of motion was trash. Two massages later and it's improving and feels better than ever. I would definitely recommend this place. Ask for Amy. She's amazing! read more

We love this place because they give amazing massages. The hour and a half hot oil is heaven, really works everything out with deep tissue pressure. I have gone to fancy massage spots in the US and internationally. Seriously the massage is one of the best, atmosphere leaves a ton to be desired but we keep going back because the massages are that great. read more

The worst customer service I've EVER had! Not only was the place loud and they are supposed to whisper, they didn't. They don't respect your privacy either. I went with my step-son for a massage and they brought him into the same room where I was nude. They were using the other table that was available in the same room. I thought it was another lady or female in there with me. I didn't even think it'd be him that came into the room because my face was down on the table and I was surprised when I got up that it was him. I was so embarrassed! This is what topped it off. When I went to pay they charged me $40 extra for a service they said I agreed to. Watch out, this place is horrible & a scam! When I went to count my money because I was forced to pay the amount he indicated, he snatched my money from my hand and tried keeping it all. I grabbed it back from him and he yelled at me to tip. I feel tipping is a charge you shouldn't be expected to give. I did because it wasn't the massagers fault for their horrible management. I think the tall Asian that did this is the owner. I can't believe I spoke highly of this place before, but never again will I come here again. I've taken many people there and referred them as well. Now I tell them don't ever go there. read more

This is not a "come smell the eucalyptus oil and listen to sitar music" kind of massage place. This is a "I've got major knots in my back and I need a beastly strong woman to dig them out" kind of place. I love both massage experiences but I needed the latter after a few stressful weeks at work. It was exactly what I needed. I paid for the hour long massage, but it was closer to 80 mins for $45 which is a steal. You can get a discount if you buy a package of massages all at once. read more

What a hidden gem! I came here on a Saturday, after brunch and in satisfied with Bamboo. I arrive and was quickly seated and started my massage. The massage was amazing. Deep tissue chair massage. My thighs were rubbed, pounded and smacked. My feet were massaged, cracked, and soaked. My back was kneaded, chopped and pounded. It was so nice to have ever muscle, kink, and knot attended to. This is my new fave spot and will visit at least 2-3 a month. read more

Very dissatisfied. I called in for a few of us to come in and get massages; unfortunately, the massages turned out to be awful. Upon entering, the place did not feel very relaxing or comfortable...but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. 1) Considering how cold it has been outside slash in Colorado, it was certainly not cozy in there. I rarely think it's that cold, but I felt like it was pretty chilly inside...even while soaking my feet and during the "massage" itself. 2) Massages are obviously touchy, but a couple of us felt inappropriately groped...it was rather uncomfortable. 3) One of us had a guy whose hands reeked of cigarette smoke, which is very disgusting when those hands are massaging your face. Same guy, he must be the owner or something...was in and out during the massage. 4) If they failed at everything else, their massages should have at least been great, but they weren't. If you have knots, don't come here because they don't help with getting rid of them. We will never be coming here again, nor do we recommend it for anyone else. Please save your money. read more

So, I went back on a Sunday afternoon recently. I understand that Sundays are busy for them. They had been busy all day, I guess. I walked in and got a chair right away. The person doing the massage really wasn't good. I wanted to just say, "STOP!" but I had that uncomfortable feeling where you feel awkward and don't want to seem like a jerk, kwim? So, finally the pounding ended. It was like he was jittery and had no clue. The pressure was bad and felt just...off. It was not a good massage. When I was getting ready to leave, another one of the massage guys asked if it was ok. I say that it was so-so. He told me that he was the part-time guy who they just called in randomly. Gah. He could have been somebody's random cousin or something - or so it seemed. Anyway. I guess the moral of the story is that if you are going in there on a weekend, go first thing. I've never had a similar issue at some of the other nearby places. It left me feeling like I kind of got ripped off and violated in a random way. :P I probably may not go back based on the last experience. read more

I absolutely HATE how much I love this place. 70-80% of the time I walk out with every ache and pain either gone or significantly reduced. My tight shoulders and back muscles require some deep tissue and I usually get this but there have been times where I felt the masseuse was tired or when I asked for harder pressure they were struggling to accommodate. I'll be trying a hot oil massage the next time I go in there to see if that is worth the upgrade. The price is the BEST in Denver (I've looked) especially for what you get. The location is sub-par but you can't beat it. read more

Massage was amazing. Really reasonable prices. Wonderful place if you want a massage but feel unsure about where to go... it's worth it!!

I definitely had a great deep massage. The hot stones and hot oil massage were definitely great. This wasn't 100% top notch service but definitely a great massage. read more

Worst massage ever. Not only was the place quiet enough to hear all of the heavy breathing of my very young technician. Left in more pain and frustrated with their customer service. If i thought i could get my money back, i would. read more

Came for a foot massage, did a 60 minute. I felt good , could it be better ? Of course.

This place is great for a decent and affordable massage. Mig not be your 5 star spa but you get an even better massage for a fraction of the cost. read more

Best massage place on the planet. I quit massage envy because of this place. So relaxing, so good from head to toe, everyone there is fantastic and gets to your needs. I am hooked!! Go at least twice a month. Thank you you guys are the best!!!!! read more

Called to make an appointment for four people. When we showed up they only had room for 3 so one is had to wait for 15 minutes. As soon as the massage started I said we scheduled and 1 1/2 massage and he said okay. They only did an hour and the entire time the phone rang and they were talking back and forth. Super unprofessional, plus the manager is arguing with me saying her employees don't know english. Is that my fault? No! One us is only got 48 minutes. She gave us a deal on the 48 min massage. I will never come back. I highly suggest that you don't waste your time either. read more

Daaaaaannnnnngggggggg!!!! One of the best massage I've ever had! Comparable to some of the high end spas I've been to. My masseuse worked out every kink I had! Definitely needed this after a day of snow boarding!!! If I lived here, I'd be back at least once a month!! read more

I've gone to quite a few massage places in Denver and this is in my top two. Extremely reasonably priced and the quality of massage was amazing. It's definitely not the "spa" type experience like other places in Denver, but I've never been one to really care about that, I just care if I get a good massage or not. I made a reservation, but could have just walked in. I got the 60min hot oil massage, which was basically a hot oil/stone deep tissue massage - absolutely amazing. I'll definitely be frequenting this place on the regular and I highly recommend you do, too! read more

I am a fan. I love massages and have been trying my hardest to find a place that I can frequent. My friend recommended this place to me a while back and I recently decided that I should try it out. There is a language barrier, but this wonderful older woman did my massage(I wish I knew her name). She was STRONG. I didn't even need to tell her what to give me. She focused on my shoulder blades and moved my arm in various positions(this makes or breaks a massage for me) to get all the knots in that area, she also did a scalp massage; which was pleasant. I really love a good butt massage and it was given to me without me even having to request it. This is a no frills type place so you don't get a private room with a fuzzy blanket and your own special aromatherapy blend. I kept my panties on and covered my behind with a towel, but that was whipped off fairly quickly. It's walled up with curtains like a massage school would be(I didn't have a neighbor while getting a massage so I didn't hear any weird grunting). Some parts of the massage were a bit painful but I have to say this is the best massage I've had since moving here. I will be back. Got a table massage btw. read more

Decided to get a last-minute massage, this was the best massage ever! He worked every sore muscle in my body comma I would highly recommend this place read more

Amazing foot/body massage. Prices are 5 dollars more than what's posted but worth the 30 dollars for the hour. Highly recommend.

Jenny was amazing! Called last minute, because my shoulder was killing me. They got me in within 10 minutes. Felt so relaxed after! Will definitely go back and recommend to friends read more

My wife and I have been going to 1149 for some time now. We have traveled extensively getting massages all over the world but I can honestly say no experience has been any better than at 1149 Foot Massage, the value for your money is outstanding we highly recommend their services. Something to be aware of, English is not their primary language. read more

This is one of the most beautiful and relaxing places I've been to for a massage. The comfy leather chairs, elegant stone floors, and relaxing lighting really make you feel like you're in an exclusive spa/resort. The staff is very pleasant, professional, and most certainly experts in massage. Did I mention the prices are very reasonable? You are treated to a warm foot bath, a fantastic facial massage and hand/foot reflexology, and finally a massage with acupressure techniques incorporated. One thing I'd mention to new comers is that the massages are in a shared room and clothing is required, which if you're only familiar with the typical North American massage experience you may be surprised. All around I really think 1149 Foot Massage is a Denver gem! read more

I've never had a bad experience here. Affordable and clean. Love it.

This was one of the best massages I have had! I went with the $25/hr foot massage-- this starts by soaking your feet in warm water, as you receive a scalp and shoulder massage. By the end of the hour, I felt wonderful. Not only did they work on my feet, but also my back, shoulders, thighs, and arms. Fyi, all of the massage chairs are in a common room; this was not a problem. The atmosphere was relaxing. read more
