DO NOT COME HERE-STOP SCAMMING PEOPLE. I went in for an oil change like I always do. This was my fourth time coming here, and I had never had any issues or complaints until yesterday. My car was perfectly fine before I brought it in. Jemarquis Wright( Quick lane manager) checked me in. I told him that the last time I came here they recommended replacing my lug nuts, but I couldn't do it because they didn't have any in stock. This time I brought a new set with me, and since they were already going to rotate my tires, I asked him if they could replace the old lug nuts with the new ones. He said, "No problem, I'll let them know." After waiting almost 3 HOURS (he originally told me it would only take 1 to 1.5 hours), he came back and told me there was a problem. He said the threads on the oil pan were damaged and they couldn't reinstall the drain plug. He then told me the only solution was to replace the oil pan, which would cost around $700. I asked him to give me a few minutes to think about it, but instead he gave me an attitude and kept trying to pressure me into having the repair done there. It was very very annoying. First the price dropped from $700 to $600, then to $500, just to convince me to stay. In the end, I paid for the oil change but decided not to have the repair done there. On top of that, they never even replaced the lug nuts that I brought, even though I specifically asked them to. They also returned my car with grease stains all over the doors and didn't even bother to clean them. To anyone reading this, be careful. Based on my experience, this place is unprofessional. They should hire better technicians and treat their customers with more respect. Gonna make sure to post this everywhere so nobody else ever has to deal with this ever again! read more

I took my 2020 Ford EcoSport to North Riverside Ford for Safety Recall 23S64 (engine oil pump belt/tensioner failure that caused engine damage and required a long-block replacement). The experience was incredibly frustrating from start to finish: * After the repair, the car was returned with the check engine light on. A few weeks later, after an oil change, the engine started rattling badly. * Another dealership (Carmax) discovered the valve pump was not fully attached and there was no oil cap installed after the major engine work. Their technicians were shocked that a dealership would release the vehicle in that condition. * For three weeks while the car was down, the dealership refused to provide a loaner or submit the proper 24A02 rental authorization that Ford's own recall bulletin requires for engine-failure cases. They repeatedly told me I had to pay out-of-pocket and wait for reimbursement later, despite clear Ford policy for no-charge rental support in these situations. The lack of communication and unwillingness to support a customer during a manufacturer safety recall made an already stressful situation much worse. I had to go elsewhere to get the car properly fixed, and it now runs beautifully. I would not recommend this dealership for recall work or major repairs. Other EcoSport or Focus owners under 23S64 should proceed with extreme caution. read more

Poor coordination in the service department. I made an appointment for 11:00AM this morning. I called at 5:45 Pm only to find out that my car had not even been started. And after having my truck for almost 6 hours that it would not be ready until tomorrow, if then, and no time of completion offered. My truck has spent weeks here over multiple visits, often sitting untouched, with poor communication and zero accountability. I was charged for repairs that didn't fix the problem, and when the real issue was finally identified as a warranty repair, no effort was made to make things right. Most recently, despite clear conversations about timing and urgency, my truck sat in the lot for days without being touched. When I tried to work around their delay, I was essentially penalized for it. Meanwhile, sales reached out opportunistically but disappeared the moment I asked for a straightforward, no-nonsense valuation. No courtesy calls. No ownership. No customer-first mindset. Tim Jacobs was my service advisor at zeiglar Ford in North Riverside . He has assisted me many times and he knows the business and the concerns for customers !! He assisted me with my 2018 Ford F150 Lariett ! He has gotten me in for service as soon as I brought my car in at 1pm in the afternoon with a 4 wheel drive problem. He had me pull my truck in immediately and looked at the truck and my problem and immediately ,got my truck worked on!!! It was completed in 1 hours time. This dealership is awsume!! They proceed to inflate the price from what I am seeing on the internet and stated "When service works on cars, they add onto the vehicle price and that's how we don't LOSE on the vehicle." Typically before you post the vehicle online the car goes through service and pricing and after it is serviced the listing goes live. Not after the fact. I've worked in dealerships before and this is shady company greed. P.S. I have still YET to receive the service report that I requested. Horrible establishment to do business with. Would not recommend to my worst enemy. Worked out a deal the evening of November 17th. Wasn't too happy with it because the car was listed for $31,974 but upon arrival to the dealership they added a inspection certification cost which was $2,799 now putting the vehicle closer to $35,000, Very unexpected. We continued the negotiation to where I was a little more comfortable but still not ready to make a deal. I was told to think about it and I did just that. I took into consideration other dealerships were offering me more for my trade and I had the documentation to prove it. I was already losing $2,000 on my end and incurred an extra fee. I was willing to disregard that because the vehicle I attempted to purchase from this dealership was exactly what I was looking for. So that same night I informed the sales representative that I would take it because I loved the car so much. I go in this morning November 18th and they no longer want to do the deal. On Feb 19th 2024 I bought a car from this dealership and gave them a cash deposit at 4pm. Sales guy was Dylan, sales Manager was Johnny Cappas. Hours later at 8am we arrived for final inspection and to collect the car on Feb 20th and we were informed that the car was not there, and that it had been SOLD. Apparently when you buy a car at this dealership it's not sold but they then host an auction and take bids on your car for more money. Sales manager told me this is company policy! Went in person to see a specific car there (about 2 or 3 months ago 2022 ) which was listed for about $28,900. Looked at it and pointed out the specific problems we had with the car, they indicated they would reduce the price by $1000.00 and that was it. So, we didn't drive it or look any further at it, and left. We were cash buyers with the money in our pocket, so you can imagine our surprise when we received an email today (January 2023) saying that same, very car was sold for $23,815 !!! I have been coming here for a few years after having multiple negative experiences at another Ford. So far my experiences have been good. My service on my vehicle has been performed accurately. The cost of labor is higher seemingly but what can we do at times when you desire warranted work. The customer service can be hit or miss but I had a good rep. this time who communicated in a timely manner and they attempted to have my vehicle ready as promised. The waiting area is a bit dull but nothing that better lighting can't resolve. The cashier was courteous. As a long term Ford owner I do believe that some work on my cars should only come from the dealer despite the cost at times but the cost shouldn't always kill our pockets on the labor side. read more

First let me say i would have given 5 stars but being handicapped they did not have anywhere for me to sit. Except in the quick lane waiting room, no seats in the repair check in or the parts department. I would assume this is so because of the remodeling project. I brought my truck to have 3 recalls addressed and a oil change. All were performed perfectly. They did have a shuttle service, took the ride home and they returned to bring me back. I received a call from a sales person about purchasing a new car. No thank you Sir. I'm good. I just want to come in and get my car service for only the airbag. I visited them today, to look at a 2022 Ford Explorer ST. The price seemed reasonable, but when I asked if it was Ford pre-owned certified, he said it went through the inspection, but never stated it was certified. When we sat down, to price the car out, there was $1999 added to the price. When I asked what that fee was, the salesman told me it was for the certification. I looked at 2 other Ford certified pre-owned cars, at 2 other dealers, priced them out, and saw no such fee. You lost me, as a customer, as soon as I saw it. After identifying the car we were interested in, we left for lunch and negotiated with the dealership via text. We had agreed via text and phone on an out-the-door price and returned to the dealership. I Saw a new Ford Maverick on Zeigler Ford's website listed as available. Upon calling the sales associate, Jacklyn, said that the car was ordered for a customer and was already sold. The car was listed as for sale for MSRP. Later in the day, Jacklyn texted and called from what I'm assuming to be a personal phone number as it was thru iMessage and not a green text. She seemed to be whispering stating that the customer that ordered the truck may be backing out of it due to a home purchase and that it was going to 'the highest bidder.' She also stated that she wanted to get the sale from the other sales associates and stated what the highest bid currently was. I offered to go higher than that for reasons unbeknownst to me. I loathe the idea of dealer markups. Its not the customers problem that a dealer can not receive enough inventory but I digress. That evening I was texted by Jacklyn wherein she said they still had not heard from the customer that ordered the vehicle. I waited til the following morning to call to inquire if it was on the lot when I was met by a rude sales associate whos name escapes me stating that the vehicle wasn't on the lot. I stated that what was going on wasn't the least bit professional and then was hung up on by the sales associate. My family has bought and sold several cars since and during covid. We had seamless transactions with 2 Tesla purchases and 2 Toyota purchases but for some reason this stupidity seems to solely happen at Ford. I find it somewhat amusing as their own CEO has stated that the market adjustment bullshit will negatively effect them in the future. I will not recommend here. I recently purchased a vehicle and I was so focused on the bells and whistles, I did not notice the tires. When I finally came down from my high of excitement, I finally noticed the all of my tires were bald. When I went back up to Ford, I was told it met the standards of being able to sell the vehicle. I purchased on November 4th 2020 and I went back on November 8th 2020. I now have to come out of my pocket with $1100.00 to put 4 new tires on them because that is the type of tires it requires. Total rip off of a place with no Integrity. I will say my Sales guy Robert Cotton was the best, he was new to the company but he even noticed all tires being bald which is a definite liability. When I spoke with the sales manager Vic, he stated and I quote " Didn't we give you a discount plus we took a lost on the car". If you took a lost or not, you sell the car fully in Excellent conditions, don't get mad a me because you were not able to get over on me in the price of the vehicle. I purchased a 2021 Ford Escape from Zeigler Ford in North Riverside on March 2, 2024. I love my vehicle! But my car buying experience with Zeigler was disheartening. And I realize that some of the issues are due to my naivety. And if I had all the information that I have now, I would have walked away from the deal. The car needed an oil change. That should have been done before listing it for sale. The tires were discovered to be at the end of their useful life. I found that out when I went to get the oil change at my regular place. I asked the dealership (my back and forth with the dealership was with John Cappas, a sales manager.) if the car went through any checklist before offering it for sale and if so, how did those tired pass? I was told it did and that the tires passed. I asked to see that checklist. It took days for him to get back to me only after I emailed again asking to see the checklist. When he finally scanned it and emailed it to me the pages were blank pages. I asked two times for it to be rescanned. That is the end of our communication. Zeigler/John Cappas has never responded to that request. That was a week and a half ago. So, I had to spend $1000 for four new tires right after buying the vehicle. There were other misrepresentations, including with the warranty cost. The scratch paper that we were notating the back and forth dealing of course is nowhere to be seen! Again, I would/should/could have walked away from the deal. I do love my vehicle, but I am left with sour thoughts about the transaction with Zeigler Ford, North Riverside. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would, Service department here is horrible, went and brought my used vehicle here that I haven't owned for more than a month and service did not want to honor the supposed blue certified warranty. When speaking to sales, sales offered to cover the diagnostic charge and service was in possession of my vehicle for more than 5 hours said nothing was wrong and one of the concerns being the tire pressure light keeps coming on. I was told it was reset, and they had the vehicle above and checked. Less than 24 hours later the light came back on. When speaking to Anthony in quiklane i was told "well we didnt actually charge you" because they couldn't make money they did a half assed job or nonexistent job. AVOID getting your vehicle serviced here at all cost!!!! I've now got to bring my vehicle elsewhere as these bozos couldn't address one of my main concerns.
