So, I never write reviews, but in this case, I'd like to share and expose facts about this car dealership. So my dad, just days away from turning 69 and having a triple bypass surgery in late September of 2022, had walked into a car dealership, as usual, to get his daily walks in and admire new cars. Two things my dad loves in life besides his family are tools and vehicles, and the places he loves doing his daily walks at would be hardware stores and car dealerships to get his recommended steps in from his doctor. A persistent salesman named Alexis Aragon at Al Piemonte Nissan in Melrose Park, IL, took advantage of my dad. My dad walked in with a 2018 vehicle and walked out with a 2020 with more miles and a ton of trouble codes that I will share in the images. Oh, and let me mention the cost, amount of payments, and the ridiculous interest rate that came with the car. I will show side-by-side images of the paperwork for both vehicles; that way, you consumers that plan on buying from Al Piemonte Nissan in Melrose Park, IL, car dealership can be the judge. And let me not forget one more vital thing here, my dad's language barrier is minimal as he only speaks Spanish. I felt Salesman Alexis Aragon, who is bilingual, took full advantage of a quick sale. Contracts, and ALL documents were in English, which needs to be addressed since we live in a country of many languages. My dad relied on Alexis Aragon to ensure he looked out for his best interests as he signed these documents but failed to do so. I will end here by sharing all the proper documents to back this negative review fully.

UPDATE: I have since spoken to the manager and he has offered to resolve my concerns. He was very nice and professional. The fact that he made it right is why my review is a three star because what happened should never have happened. ORIGINAL: I'll start by saying I'm SUPER pissed. I went in thinking I wouldn't pay anything but $16+tax for a ($66) fully synthetic oil change today because I had a "$50 Gift Certificate" from their "big event". Now I'm at $36.34 because they didn't stock my oil filter. They never told me that they were changing the oil filter, which normally everywhere else they come out and show you, so you know it needs to be replaced because it's dirty... Had they told me BEFORE they did it, I would NEVER have gone there because I had a coupon for half that price to an oil change place, I should have known better since "Congrats you won" was in the email header.

    Water 3 times

First before I start saying what needs to be said just want to make it clear this survey is only for the service department. Sales has been great from the beginning. With that being said Oscar and Angel that call themselves a service manager is absolutely the worst people I've met. I purchased a brand new 2022 Nissan Rogue platinum, and have had this in to service 3 times since February of this year. I've had 3 times where I have water coming into my car, and the treatment that I receive from these horrible people is crazy. All I can say is heartless. If you want to have a bad experience go to this service department, but if you want to have no stress stay far away from this location at all cost.

DON'T BUY A SENTRA! Nissan has been producing these with terrible quality transmissions(CVT) that breakdown prematurely as did mine since 2010!Unfortunately, if it happens beyond the 60,000 mile warranty, you're out of luck like mine did at 62,000 miles. But it shudn't be our fault they make them so cheap! There are class action lawsuits for 2010-2017 Sentras and they still have been getting away with it. Nissan is not willing to take accountability for their cheap product! The service department sux here! I went to THIS dealership previously (where I purchased the vehicle) to have the weather strip on the rear door replaced due to ungluing and all they could say was, "Sorry, you're out of warranty". What type of customer service is that?? You're vehicles are equipped with cheap materials which should be manufacturer defects and you try to put the blame on your customers?? When I took my car here for transmission issues, again they stated I was out of warranty. That I would have to convince Nissan Corp. to cover the repairs. Three weeks later, Nissan Corp. agreed to cover 70% of the repair & I was stuck with a $1200 bill which was supposedly 30% of it. The bill was not detailed in anyway to prove that the amount was in fact only 30% of the total repair, sounds like a scam to me! Nevertheless, I will be contacting the BBB to hold them accountable for their crappy cars. Never coming here again or purchasing another Nissan vehicle, EVER!!! P.S.- After posting this review on yelp, I got a response from a manager. Funny how they want to reach out now but when I was at the dealership complaining, nobody gave a damn!

Service department is entirely too slow. Be prepared to sit 3 hours with no update and they don't give you an accurate wait time.

It was either, "I could give 0 stars if I could" or the polar opposite of that. When I went here, they were kind enough to give us a parking lot, which is pretty unheard of, even on the outskirts of Chicago. As I walked in, lots of employees looked up, and one asked what I needed. I told him, and he pulled up a chair and invited me to sit down. He started telling me about his cars, and pulled up his inventory online to show us. I had been watching this place for months, so I knew exactly what was on there. I mentioned a 2020 hybrid FPIU that was basically new, and he said he would go out and find it for me. He took quite some time, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, as they had more than 150 vehicles in total, some of which weren't even on their website (They had to take photos and link the CARFAX) Once he found it, he led us to it and it was already on. He was open to us sitting in it and even shifting it to check for wear. I asked him if I could walk around the lot, and he said, "Of course." As I got into a lot of their vehicles, I noticed a musty, sweet smell, as if someone had only wore cologne for a year in this car. He was open to my checking the horn on the vehicles as well, and some of them will not work because the police equipment has been removed, and with it, the iconic low-pitched horn that police have. Another thing is, I saw a 2019 charger that had been off the online inventory for months. I had assumed they sold it, and when I asked the dealer about it, he said it could be a different car-IT WAS NOT DIFFERENT. HAD THE SAME MILES AS THE WEBSITE SAID IT DID, AND EXACT CONDITION. Or he stated sometimes buyers put cars on hold, which didn't seem feasible to me, as it had been a few months. Because I didn't want to piss him off on my first visit, I accepted the answer. Furthermore, I saw some other cars that were also not on the online inventory, and he said they had to prepare them for the website, for the reasons I stated above. At the end, pretty much no cars had hidden cosmetic damage that wasn't shown in the website photos. He shook my hand, and gave me a business card without a name. I asked him, and he told me not to worry about it, as the number was his father's. Overall, he seems to know the basic things about his cars, such as where he got them from. He also offered us lots of test drives, but we only did one, with a charger that shook quite a lot when stopped. He came with us and took us on a set route around the side streets. As for the shaking, He told us that was because the V8 engine had aged over the 90k miles it had endured, and asked if we'd wanted to try a newer FPIU. My time was running out, so I declined, and left with a pretty happy face. I would purchase a car from here if I needed one. But to this day, I don't know why that charger was taken off the website. -Ryder

Auto Park claims on cars.com that all their vehicles are fully inspected and are in "great condition." Fifty miles out of Chicago, the gas gauge and AC didn't work. The day after arriving in Colorado, the engine light came on. A highly respected foreign car service Shop in Boulder did the Diagnostics for $364, the repairs needed were $3,192. Auto Park refused. They sent me a non-VW fuel pump assembly and compressor and said to take it to another Shop who they claimed would install the parts for a labor charge of $973, which Auto Park would only pay 50%. I objected to having to pay anything. The Shop they recommended repaired the vehicle for $2,872. So, along with the original diagnostics of $364 plus the repairs of $2,872, I was out $3,192. They refused again, and made a final offer of $1500, or I return the car to Chicago at my expense (yeah, I laughed, too) as long as it was in the "same condition" (LOL) they would refund the purchase amount. This is the way they do business. I'm out over 3K. I would never recommend this Dealer. Terrible experience. Please note that I would like to add to my submission regarding Auto Park Imports. Last week the engine light came on AGAIN. Here you will see the estimate for $1,868.96. http://www.mkvwa23.com/p/xYJQYb.html Please note that the fuel sensor they sent is faulty. Here is the video report from the VW service department. http://www.mkvwa9.com/p/xBUMut.html With these additional charges, I am now out $5,060. Erik
