Don't know how to really describe the fact that the new service writer Chris seem to be more interested in the conversations with his fellow coworkers then taking care of his customers. I have an issue with my truck. I've been going to Al Piemonte since I got it. I've had no issues with the service departments until for some reason the normal service writer is no longer employed there. I can only imagine why but that's not what this is about I asked Chris to help with a manufacturer issue and he basically forgot about it and use the excuse that the part was on a master backorder or something to that effect. one when you're going to lie to people make sure that you know all the facts and know that there are people that do do homework to understand and help to make the process go easier. He flat out just forgot about my truck forgot about me and used a backorder as an excuse. I was 40 weeks pregnant and waddled in there because my father was also in town and high-risk handicap to try to see where we were at since our truck was there for 2 weeks already. Second time we had our truck serviced there, my husband brought it in, they said oh we need to order this part. Two weeks later, called to see when we're bringing it in, can't get through, my husband stops in. Same guy said he never saw the truck! So another guy then orders the parts... never calls us, we stop in again, and HE DIDN'T ORDER THE PARTS. So back to the original guy, he finally ordered the parts. Crazy! Now, we decided to try again and requested a loaner vehicle a month ago for service. Called last week, girl told me she wrote down my name and information and she would call me back. NEVER CALLED, not shocked. Called today, girl told me Nicole was away from her desk and would take my number and I told her she never called back last time I called. There is a known issue with the '21 Broncos that prevent them from connecting to the IL Emission Testing stations, so you have to make a service appointment to resolve it. After 2 days of trying to get a call back from their service manager - which never happened - I've talked to several customer service reps, none of whom were in the least bit helpful and left me beyond frustrated. After they mistakenly hung up on me after being on hold for several minutes - they told me that I was being difficult when I called them back. I've been a loyal customer for a couple years now and after my experience today and I will no longer seek any sort of business here. I have an active recall on my driver seatbelt malfunctioning and causing my occupant restraint light to illuminate. I'm scheduled to get it serviced at another dealership who agreed to fix it free of charge because it was a recall. After waiting an hour today, I was told they wouldn't do the recall and instead would charged me 240 for just a diagnosis on the light and would further estimate the cost of the damage. This dealership is not working with their customers to get proper/honest work done. I highly recommend going somewhere else where they value your time and listen to you. My experience pertains specifically to the Ford service department - not the actual car dealership. So this place is clearly under new management. After getting some ridiculous estimates from other mechanics and body shops, I decided to give this place a try.... I got outstanding service from Pat Gavin. He quickly got me estimates which confirmed my suspicions that the other mechanics were trying to gorge me into paying for a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Pat & team were able to fix several problems that had been lingering on my car for several months. I always postponed getting these things fixed because other mechanics wanted literally $5-10k for what seemed like small issues. I'm ecstatic to have finally found someone in this industry that conducts business with (1) integrity and (2) high standards in delivering quality! It's such a relief to know where to go to get my car fixed without getting guided into a bunch of high priced and unnecessary work. I also got my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Everything from the service to the price to the quality of the work exceeded my highest expectations. 1 month later my car is running as good as new. I have a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, and fortunately there was a recall for my head light module that went out. I took it to Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park, and they repaired the Head Light module at no cost. Since the repair the connection to my rear lights were flickering on and off and I called them to let them know that rear light connection is now loose. Their response "the repair was only for the head light, and not for the rear lights". It's out of their hands. If I have a problem to contact Ford Corporation for assistance. I tried explaining this to the young lady that never returns phone calls and it was to no avail. I just hung up. I can not believe that they don't go out of their way to help a person out. read more

My vehicle is beyond damaged due to this. I have BLACK MOLD underneath my passenger floorboard carpet. This black mold is due to this issue with the A/C leaking. In the two months i have owned this vehicle, my children have been sick and been seen at their physician twice due to illness. DING DING!!! They were exposed to BLACK MOLD. I have spoke to the Director John, he refuses to fix the A/C Leak and replace the carpet that is damaged and is a hazard to our health! I can NOT drive my vehicle due to the contamination of black mold. This is a FORD dealership, they knew this was a common issue and turned an eye, they don't care. I was told if i wanted something perfect that i would need to spend more money and buy BRAND NEW, basically belittling me since i bought a used auto. My original complaint was Upon driving home on the toll road the bumper starts flapping in the wind, i had to pull over to prevent it from riping off. It is completely broke and needs replaced.. I reached out to my sales guy, he put me in contact with Renan Simone who is a sales manager, he was rude, discriminatory towards me for being a female! Not once but TWICE i was hung up by this man, he belittled me and kept cutting me off, i couldn't barley get a word in, then when it was my time to talk he would cut me off again. This customer service has been horrible!!!!!!! All they care about is making a sale!!! Regarding the bumper, Director John as agreed to have the bumper replaced at a local Ford body shop, but wants to quite me by signing a document were i cant speak about Al Piedmonte in any/all matters. Do not buy from here and whatever you do, do not use their service station for repairs. I have/had a 2019 Ford Edge with roughly 25,000 mi on it (oil changed and serviced regularly). There was an issue with the engine but luckily it was under the 3 yr bumper to bumper warranty. They told me it needed an engine replacement in August 2021. It has now been half a year and still it needs an engine replacement. Not only that, I can never seem to get an update or a call back from anyone regarding my vehicle. Terrible place. Happen to go here on the day when they had a Hispanic radio station at the dealership. The minute I pulled into the parking area, I was greeted by music BLASTING from a loud speaker from a van. When I went inside, it was just as bad. Music was as loud as it was outside. I spent about 15 minutes in the place looking at the scant amount of cars that were there. Not once did anyone approach me to give me assistance. The place was empty except for the people gathered around the radio disk jockey. Sales people walked right past me and didn't offer a word of help. "RIP-OFF" ALERT . I brought in my Ford-Escape for a radiator flush and repair a frozen window on one of the rear doors. I was quoted $269 for the flush and $150.00 to diagnose and price out the repair job. I agreed and left my car in the shop. A few hours later I got a call telling me it would cost $450 more for a total of $600 to look at the window . I declined to pay that much for an estimate and told them to only do the radiator flush. When I went to pickup my car they billed me $269 for the radiator flush plus t $150 for the diagnosis and estimate I never got. We came here to look at trucks, I had a crossover and just wanted to LOOK at the trucks. I instantly was told we had to sit down at desk. The sales person asked us normal questions, we answered letting him know we just wanted to look at trucks as we were making a change. Guy goes to his manager, comes back to ask questions about money. We told him we don't understand why we have to go over pricing when we haven't even been allowed to look at trucks.
