Took my F150 in for a rear differential fluid change. once I got home there was a big puddle of oil on the ground. The dealer sent out a mechanic to verify the problem and he said it's the pioin seal that's leaking. I took the car back to the dealer and now the new mechanic is saying the rear diff bearings are bad and it's a $3200 job. I had no leaks prior to having them work on the car. if the bearings were bad they should've noticed that when the did the rear diff fluid. I believe they had someone who didn't know what they were doing work on my car and now I can't even drive it and I haven't received a call back from the dealer. it's been a week I've been calling John the service manager and haven't heard back. Anyone have any recommendations on who to call in corporate or an attorney who can help me out? read more

Great experience and service. Was traveling from Michigan to Missouri when I ran over a nail on the interstate. AAA replaced the flat tire and I headed to the nearest Ford dealership. Jesse Ramirez, the Service Advisor, was empathetic to my situation, got the car into the service rotation and I left with a new tire to get me home safely. Waiting area was comfortable and quiet and I was able to get some work done while waiting. read more

Al Piemonte service department is terrible!!! The first time we used them for service we waited a month for a loaner car and they ended up never giving us one. I was 40 weeks pregnant and waddled in there because my father was also in town and high-risk handicap to try to see where we were at since our truck was there for 2 weeks already. Second time we had our truck serviced there, my husband brought it in, they said oh we need to order this part. Two weeks later, called to see when we're bringing it in, can't get through, my husband stops in. Same guy said he never saw the truck! So another guy then orders the parts... never calls us, we stop in again, and HE DIDN'T ORDER THE PARTS. So back to the original guy, he finally ordered the parts. Crazy! Now, we decided to try again and requested a loaner vehicle a month ago for service. Called last week, girl told me she wrote down my name and information and she would call me back. NEVER CALLED, not shocked. Called today, girl told me Nicole was away from her desk and would take my number and I told her she never called back last time I called. She said I could wait on the line so I said that's fine, just need to know how many people are ahead of us. Hung up on me!!! Called back, no answer!!! My husband called hours later today and they hung up on him. WHAT A JOKE OF A DEPARTMENT! read more

Bought a used F150 this Saturday my salesman was Andre The buying process was very pleasant. The finance manager Johnny was not pushy at all, but was doing his best to sell products. I got a fair interest rate and a great deal on my truck. Before delivering the truck to me they took it into the shop to take care of a couple things I was concerned about and they fixed not only those but found something else that was a safety issue and they took care of that as well before delivering the vehicle to me. Overall I had a great experience read more

Don't know how to really describe the fact that the new service writer Chris seem to be more interested in the conversations with his fellow coworkers then taking care of his customers. I have an issue with my truck. I've been going to Al Piemonte since I got it. I've had no issues with the service departments until for some reason the normal service writer is no longer employed there. I can only imagine why but that's not what this is about I asked Chris to help with a manufacturer issue and he basically forgot about it and use the excuse that the part was on a master backorder or something to that effect. one when you're going to lie to people make sure that you know all the facts and know that there are people that do do homework to understand and help to make the process go easier. He flat out just forgot about my truck forgot about me and used a backorder as an excuse. Well, the reality is simple Al Piemonte lost one customer now Chris won't be affected by this nor will the other service people because one customer isn't going to take down a business however, this one customer will no longer be spending his time effort or money at this location and going to a different dealer good luck if you decide to use Al Piemonte I really hope that you don't get to work with Chris and that you don't hear the excuse of a part instead of his incompetence read more

Had a really good experience purchasing my 2021 Ford Bronco here. There is a known issue with the '21 Broncos that prevent them from connecting to the IL Emission Testing stations, so you have to make a service appointment to resolve it. After 2 days of trying to get a call back from their service manager - which never happened - I've talked to several customer service reps, none of whom were in the least bit helpful and left me beyond frustrated. After they mistakenly hung up on me after being on hold for several minutes - they told me that I was being difficult when I called them back. Goodbye Al Piemonte - my issue has already been easily resolved by another local Ford Service location. read more

I've been a loyal customer for a couple years now and after my experience today and I will no longer seek any sort of business here. I have an active recall on my driver seatbelt malfunctioning and causing my occupant restraint light to illuminate. I'm scheduled to get it serviced at another dealership who agreed to fix it free of charge because it was a recall. After waiting an hour today, I was told they wouldn't do the recall and instead would charged me 240 for just a diagnosis on the light and would further estimate the cost of the damage. This dealership is not working with their customers to get proper/honest work done. I highly recommend going somewhere else where they value your time and listen to you. Other dealerships have even offered a service that comes out to me for a service. read more

This is the WORST dealership I've ever dealt with. Went in here to buy a vehicle and had an extremely pushy salesman who did not want to listen to any of our needs & kept pushing to try to make a sale after repeated no's. In addition to this, after I did purchase my vehicle from another dealership - I went here to try to service my vehicle because it's still under warranty and these lazy fucks will do everything in their power to try to not do the service, try to personally blame & accuse you for any issues with the vehicle, without even asking questions then when they DO finally have your vehicle, it will just sit in the lot for an ungodly amount of time with zero updates as to what's going on/being serviced on your vehicle. Will NEVER return here again. Avoid at all costs for sales & service. read more

I spent $60k...I shouldn't have to go through any of this sh*t. The main c*cks*cker is their sales manager Steve Nunez. What an a**hole this guy is. He has no business in a customer role. Zero Zero Zero Rating My niece was the latest victim from their adjustable rate loans to needless extended warranties and then their failed responsiveness to her attempt to cancel the deal, not to mention the $5,000 above sticker price. My experience pertains specifically to the Ford service department - not the actual car dealership. So this place is clearly under new management. After getting some ridiculous estimates from other mechanics and body shops, I decided to give this place a try.... I got outstanding service from Pat Gavin. He quickly got me estimates which confirmed my suspicions that the other mechanics were trying to gorge me into paying for a bunch of unnecessary repairs. Pat & team were able to fix several problems that had been lingering on my car for several months. I always postponed getting these things fixed because other mechanics wanted literally $5-10k for what seemed like small issues. I'm ecstatic to have finally found someone in this industry that conducts business with (1) integrity and (2) high standards in delivering quality! It's such a relief to know where to go to get my car fixed without getting guided into a bunch of high priced and unnecessary work. I also got my car back cleaner than when I dropped it off!! Everything from the service to the price to the quality of the work exceeded my highest expectations. 1 month later my car is running as good as new. If only everything in the auto industry (particularly the service & repair industry) was run this way. read more

I have a 2005 Mercury Grand Marquis, and fortunately there was a recall for my head light module that went out. I took it to Al Piemonte Ford in Melrose Park, and they repaired the Head Light module at no cost. Since the repair the connection to my rear lights were flickering on and off and I called them to let them know that rear light connection is now loose. Their response "the repair was only for the head light, and not for the rear lights". It's out of their hands. If I have a problem to contact Ford Corporation for assistance. I tried explaining this to the young lady that never returns phone calls and it was to no avail. I just hung up. I can not believe that they don't go out of their way to help a person out. read more

I took my truck in for service and was told a price by a representative($500) then when it was time to pay it tripled to $1500. Would not give any stars if I had the option!!! I can only blame myself! I said I would never come back here and yet here I am again. In my defense, I am going out of town today and needed an oil change and to fix my wiper blades and golf mill ford (the better option where I have purchased my last 3 vehicles) is booked until the end of the month. Nonetheless, get here and I pull to the service door and im just sitting. People are standing around just inside the door and no one lets it up so I can pull in. Honk my horn. Still sitting there!! No greeting, no anything! Finally someone finally comes up to the car to get the keys and take it. Can't say the customer service sucks monkeys balls because they do not have any customer service. Perhaps they should seek training from chick-fil-a. Definitely will NOT be here again!!!!!!!!!! AND they're just casually walking around unmasked. Do not buy from here and whatever you do, do not use their service station for repairs. I have/had a 2019 Ford Edge with roughly 25,000 mi on it (oil changed and serviced regularly). BEWARE, ** BLACK MOLD in my Expedition. DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM THIS COMPANY!! Purchased my 2020 Ford Expedition Max Limited for over $54,000. I came from out of state and drover over 3 hours to purchase this vehicle. ****Newest Update. Aug 2022 Many Ford Models yes (Expedition Max) is one of them, has a major issue, TECHNICAL SERVICE BULLETIN Water Leaking On Right Front Floor During Or After A/C Use - Built On Or After 31-Aug-2018. My vehicle is beyond damaged due to this. I have BLACK MOLD underneath my passenger floorboard carpet. This black mold is due to this issue with the A/C leaking. In the two months i have owned this vehicle, my children have been sick and been seen at their physician twice due to illness. DING DING!!! They were exposed to BLACK MOLD. I have spoke to the Director John, he refuses to fix the A/C Leak and replace the carpet that is damaged and is a hazard to our health! I can NOT drive my vehicle due to the contamination of black mold. This is a FORD dealership, they knew this was a common issue and turned an eye, they don't care. I was told if i wanted something perfect that i would need to spend more money and buy BRAND NEW, basically belittling me since i bought a used auto. My original complaint was Upon driving home on the toll road the bumper starts flapping in the wind, i had to pull over to prevent it from riping off. It is completely broke and needs replaced.. I reached out to my sales guy, he put me in contact with Renan Simone who is a sales manager, he was rude, discriminatory towards me for being a female! Not once but TWICE i was hung up by this man, he belittled me and kept cutting me off, i couldn't barley get a word in, then when it was my time to talk he would cut me off again. This customer service has been horrible!!!!!!! All they care about is making a sale!!! Regarding the bumper, Director John as agreed to have the bumper replaced at a local Ford body shop, but wants to quite me by signing a document were i cant speak about Al Piedmonte in any/all matters. They want to silent me. BLACK MOLD. please see attached photos. I need a safe, and non contaminated vehicle that does not have black mold. Al Piemonte, do the right thing. Terrible place. Happen to go here on the day when they had a Hispanic radio station at the dealership. The minute I pulled into the parking area, I was greeted by music BLASTING from a loud speaker from a van. When I went inside, it was just as bad. Music was as loud as it was outside. I spent about 15 minutes in the place looking at the scant amount of cars that were there. Not once did anyone approach me to give me assistance. The place was empty except for the people gathered around the radio disk jockey. Sales people walked right past me and didn't offer a word of help. They even saw me check out a couple of cars and NOTHING. After being frustrated with the lack of customer service, I left. "RIP-OFF" ALERT . I brought in my Ford-Escape for a radiator flush and repair a frozen window on one of the rear doors. A few hours later I got a call telling me it would cost $450 more for a total of $600 to look at the window . I declined to pay that much for an estimate and told them to only do the radiator flush. When I went to pickup my car they billed me $269 for the radiator flush plus t $150 for the diagnosis and estimate I never got. We came here to look at trucks, I had a crossover and just wanted to LOOK at the trucks. I instantly was told we had to sit down at desk. We told him we don't understand why we have to go over pricing when we haven't even been allowed to look at trucks. Sales guy goes back, comes again and says he NEEDS to know our credit, our deposit amount.......mind you we haven't been allowed to look at ANYTHING yet. Worst management ever, the "director" is a clown who has no professionalism and behaves as a kid, I took my 2021 bronco for service because 2 check engines messages showed up within 2 days, my car broke down on the street, after calling the place they suggested to bring it to see if it could be diagnosed before my schedule appointment which was a few days later, when I showed up I was told they could not see my car until Monday and it had to be there since Friday, I asked for a loaner and they said they did not have loaners, I was referred to the "director" and he said he's not obligated to give me a loaner, then questioned me if I was lying about the car dying, which in fact happen, but because he could not see it on the car records had the nerve to call me liar, when I brought up to him had he was not being professional and had an attitude he heated up so fast and tried to play smart, I told him that I needed a solution for my car with a check engine message and a motor recall something had to be done, he said he's not FORD... you have to be kidding, you represent ford, you're FORD's face, so he got up and refused service!
