On a hunt for MY favorite soft serve vanilla with rainbow sprinkles so I stopped at this local place. I always see crazy lines when I drive by so I assume it's gotta be the spot. The servers were happy so that's always nice to see. The price was reasonable. The small was pretty huge so that was also a bonus. The sprinkles tasted waxy which was off-putting. But the ice cream itself: EXCELLENT!! It didn't instantly wanna melt on this 90°+ weather so you know it had some substance. And BOY was it custardy creamy! Sooooo good!! read more

Love this family owned eatery! The food is great & the staff are always very nice. We always have a great time when we go to Zeeks Place!

The food is good don't get me wrong. It's the way they make the sandwiches is the issue here . No one wants to pick up a sandwich, put it to their mouth and have everything fall out of it. They need to cut the roll all the way through. Layer on the meat, tomatoes, cheese, onions and then slather on the mayo or ketchup. That's how you make a sandwich. The service was fast and the place is clean. I know it's most likely kids making the food. But they need to be trained the right way. People will wait the extra 5 minutes if you get it right. read more

GO TO HUMPTY JRS!!!! This place is over priced!!! Save your money!!! Yes... I know the prices of everything is up....blah blah....but I ordered the sloppy seater sandwich.... One slice of cheese, one slice of roast beef and hardly any thousand island dressing... The small pickle that came with it had a weird taste... Just take it off the menu if the price of deli roast beef is cost you so much that u can only put one slice on the "sloppy Seater" ...nothing sloppy about it! The ice cream is amazing but the food is not . I order chicken gyros, the sauce was fabulous but the chicken was tough. My friend had BLT & the bacon didn't seem like freshly cook. The soft serve made up for this! read more

Gave Zeek's another shot, burger was good as it has been on my other visits. I think they worked out the soggy fries, they are now placing them in an open bag instead of scrunching the bag closed resulting in crispy fries. Whether or not you like McDonald's, look at the way they serve their fries, it's an open container. They spent a lot of time and money to figure that out. read more

Zeeks is a great place for good food and great ice cream! Plus the atmosphere is nice. The people are friendly and helpful . I go there about once a week for food and several times for " death by chocolate " ice cream. We went to eat there this week ! We had the 519 sandwich. They were great! GREAT PLACE! We stopped in due to being in a hurry and not knowing the area, and were very pleasantly surprised! My hubby has egg allergies and other food issues but was able to get a wonderful breakfast there anyway which made me really happy, we WILL keep this place on the radar for whenever we get up that way, nice people, cute retro atmosphere, love it! We will NEVER eat there again! We ordered a double cheeseburger (9.50), a Sassy Seater (8.80), 1 order of fries, and 2 medium drinks. Our bill was $33 for this meal, and it was AWFUL! The meat from the burger tasted like it was processed meat (not fresh), the sandwich was processed roast beef (the meat was "shiny"). I will be honest, I had expected the bread to be toasted (it was rye bread) and the cheese to be melted (it was not) I was so disgusted I only ate half of it and threw the rest out. Adding to it the drinks which were considered "medium" would be called small if at a fast food place. DO NOT order anything from the grill! Stick with the ice cream- that would be its only saving grace. read more

Nice little drive-in spot to stop for ice cream. I've never had any of their other food. They have an indoor counter and seating and a window outside and tables outside as well. They're never too crowded so you don't have to wait. My only complaint isn't even about the business, just their location. They're located along a fairly busy road, so sometimes it's hard to enjoy your ice cream if you're sitting outside as it can be noisy. read more

Overpriced and just below average. Had a cheesesteak sub that was soggy and the bread like mush. There seems to be inexperienced teenage girls working here that really don't know how to make food, since the adult owners are scarce working here. I also had a, what was supposed to be a 12oz root-beer float. It was made in a styrofoam cup that you would get a small coffee in, about 6-8 oz, when it said it would be in 12oz container, plus it was over priced. Apparently, I was not the only one complaining about the size and cost, but got nowhere complaining. Just basic food there is priced high. It is not the same at Zeeks as it use to be when Don had it. Better off going to Mackey's orchards for ice cream which is down the road about a mile on rte. 519. One other thing and it is not posted or told to you and that is if you use a credit card or debit card....there is a .50 cent service charge....REALLY! read more

Located on a quiet stretch of 519, Zeek's service is always friendly and they have a great selection of ice cream. I've only had hard ice cream flavors here, but everyone I have tried is amazing. It is a very high quality and tasty. The portions are generous and the prices fair. I have only eaten off their actual menu once and the food was good. Zeek's is the epitome of average. Cheesesteak was passible tho the roll it was on was pretty bad. chicken salad had bones in it. Everything was a dollar more than it should have been. If you're in the area and desperate the food probably won't kill you but I'd suggest Thissildous, Johnnys Hot Dogs, or Carols coffee Cup instead. read more

well....zeeks has officially priced themselves off of my "places to eat" list. last night we purchased: 2 cheeseburgers 1 order (3) pierogies 1 order of cheese fries 1 order of chicken fingers 1 small macaroni salad 1 small ham & cheese sub 4 bottles of iced tea........ $56.00!!!!! safe to say, next time I wanna spend $56.00 on "ice cream stand" food, it won't be there. Wanted to give it a try after reading the great reviews last month after we went to get our Christmas tree as I frequently drive by and have never stopped. Let's just say my entire family agreed, which dosn't happen much. Staff cared more about talking amongst themselves other than waiting on their customers. Service was good, girls seemed a little unorganized. Food came out fast, I ordered the Chix cheese steak, the roll was fresh, but was not full, chicken seemed lost in the roll, but the sandwich was good, based on reviews I was expecting a wow sandwich, it was good, not wow. There were a lot of flys, that kind of creeps me out. The Resturant was very busy when I was there. I ordered the soft ice cream it was very good. the Asian girl was very sweet the blonde girl was a little obnoxious. Overall it was a good roadside stop and I will try it again. read more
