Zaza is a cute diner with plenty of options. My coffee was delicious but my food was just ok. Service was good but nothing special. If you have a large group this would probably be good location because they have an extensive menu that most people will be able to find something they want.
If you're looking for diner food this spot will work for you. Their menu is super expansive and the quality is what you would expect from a diner. They had tons of seating and quick service. We had no problem getting a seat immediately for a Sunday brunch.
My husband and I planned to go to a diner before our matinee 4DX movie at Regal on 42nd Street, so we decided to look on Yelp for recommendations near his job on Wall Street. Fortunately, we found Zaza Diner just a five-minute walk away. Our first impression was very positive; the diner was modern and exceptionally clean. The hostess was friendly, and we were seated immediately--there was no waiting at all. Our server was attentive and asked us what we would like to drink, and then a second waiter came by to take our food orders. We ordered a Western egg omelet with home fries and multigrain bread. Additionally, we got a deluxe pancake order that included three pancakes, two pieces of bacon, one slice of ham, and one sausage. We also enjoyed some delicious coffee.
Great crew working here! Friendly staff. Always get seated fast and the food is always good. Rarely disappointed.
The place was wonderful, the staff took us in with ease and the food was very tasty! I had heard of the place and liked the reviews and must admit-- they were right . The food was fresh and the staff was very responsive to any question and always service with a smile!

Decent breakfast, but not exciting. I ordered the crabcake Benedict, and was happy but not thrilled. I was hungry and ate until I hit a wall and packed it to go. I was drawn to this diner based on the classic turkey club sandwich reviews, but allowed myself to get distracted by something else. The next time that I am in lower Manhattan, I will stay focused.
We have breakfast here each morning....so far I haven't been disappointed... the staff is knowledgeable & efficient.... Also convenient.... Near our hotel
Fast and friendly service. Will definitely come again. They have an extensive menu with many choices and options. We of course couldn't take our eyes off the breakfast selections. The interior is clean and has lots of booths for the classic diner vibe and feel. See you soon Zaza! I loved my PACO.
This was a gem. We happened on this spot on our lunch hour! It was a classic diner meet modern Manhattan moment there were people from so many different walks of life at lunch, folks on lunch break, families and tourist just to name a few. The host were fantastic and were so helpful and just plain sweet. I had the grilled chicken sandwich and fries! The grilled sandwich was delicious the chicken was tender and juicy and seasoned well. The sandwich was so good I forgot to get a picture. I will definitely be back!
My partner and I came in twice to have breakfast here. Service was a little slow but it can get busy. The service was always kind tho. I ordered the Western Omelette and Banana pancakes. They were both sooo good. I would come back and try more things on the menu.
Very clean place, very friendly staff, portions were good, coffee was good, the food was good.
A clean and beautiful ambiance with kind staff and great food. I came with a group of six and our food was brought out in a very timely manner. We all ordered off of the breakfast menu. I got the big boy breakfast. It filled me up for almost the entire day. It came with all the breakfast meats, three eggs, home fries, and toast. The star of the plate was the home fries. They were seasoned to perfection. Some of my friends were picking them off of my plate because none of us could get enough of them! I would highly recommend Zaza to others.

It was pretty crowded on a weekend morning. I always walk by this spot to and from work and it was always closed. I always wondered what they served and was so excited to visit. Their tiramisu was well spoken so we knew we had to try it. We started with dessert first and it was delicious. Amazing cheese cake, amazing tiramisu. For food we got an omelet, which was delicious. Then we also got the cream cheese toast with fresh fruits, which my partner and I felt like was just not in. I ate the fruits and half a french toast bagel and ended up eating his toasted bread butter. I just really didn't like how the french toast and cream cheese and maple syrup tasted together. A clean and beautiful ambiance with kind staff and great food. I came with a group of six and our food was brought out in a very timely manner. We all ordered off of the breakfast menu. I got the big boy breakfast. It filled me up for almost the entire day. It came with all the breakfast meats, three eggs, home fries, and toast. The star of the plate was the home fries. They were seasoned to perfection. Some of my friends were picking them off of my plate because none of us could get enough of them! I would highly recommend Zaza to others. read more

The service here was phenomenal. The waitress was very attentive, friendly, and so funny! The food caught me by surprise. It was extremely fresh and delicious. The food came out hot and the portion sizes were huge! You could easily split one meal between two people. There are a variety of options on the menu as well. The ambiance was very relaxing and the restaurant was spacious. It wasn't crowded and there's plenty of seating. read more

We had breakfast here before our activities planned out for the day. Service was fast after we mentioned that we were in a bit of a rush to get to our attraction. The food was good. A great place to try if you're in the area. read more
My friend and I went to Zaza Diner for brunch on a Friday at 10:30am. I did not think a random diner in the financial district would need reservations, but when I arrived, it was POPPING! I would recommend making a reservation if you come here during a peak dining hour. Fortunately, several tables turned when we put our names down, so we only had to wait 10 minutes. The interior is like an upscale diner. They have a pretty display case with their pastries and the classic long diner booths. The prices on the menus online are higher than what they are, and I paid in cash for a discount. I do not remember the prices, but I remember thinking they were reasonable for the location. My friend ordered the breakfast nachos, and I ordered what I believe was called American breakfast. My friend enjoyed the nachos and only did not finish them because the portion size was huge. For me, I chose the breakfast because it is one of the few I have seen that came with a croissant. I wish they told me that everything would be on the croissant. If so, I would have asked for the components separated. The sandwich ended up being pretty greasy, which would not happen if I had everything separate. However, the home fries were delicious! If you like crispiness on your home fries, you will appreciate them here. Service here was non-existent with the exception of our orders being taken and delivered. There were no check-backs or water refills, and we had to go to the front of the restaurant to pay. However, the front-of-the-house staff made up for that with their helpfulness and positivity. If you are in the area, I think this is a nice place to eat, but it is not somewhere I would go out of my way for. read more

Stopped in for lunch on my way to my car. The place was clean and the hostess seated me right away. It took a little while for a server to come over but the menu is huge so I appreciated the extra time. I ordered the corned beef Reuben with a side salad instead of fries. The salad was the best thing. The Reuben was served open faced, which I don't really like, but can look past that if the flavor is there. The menu says it comes with a spicy mustard. The one they brought me only had bread, sauerkraut, meat and cheese. I asked the server to bring me a side of thousand island dressing. I was really disappointed. The cheese was congealed and not gooey. It was really dry because it wasn't cooked with any sauce on it. I would go back to try other items. I'll skip the Reuben though! read more

The service was great. I stay in NYC frequently for business and am not sure how I missed this place. The French Toast was delicious. The price is very reasonable for NYC. The staff was friendly and attentive. I will be back. read more

Visiting from out of town doing the whole tourist thing. Looking for a good breakfast place for a sit down meal cane across Zaza Diner. Great diner, good food and great service! The ambiance is that of a casual diner. It's a comfortable place with lots of options on the menu. Service was slow for us, but our server was pleasant. We enjoyed the Cabo omelette and Florentine omelette. Portions are big and we could have easily shared one plate. The fruit plate was fresh and delicious but my favorite thing was the margarita flight! Each mini margarita was delicious! I would definitely come back. We were greeted by the hostess and seated immediately. The baked goods in the front of the store with the other decor inside made it a pleasant atmosphere. The coffee came with such a cute little glass container for the cream, it was adorable. The lemonade was presently so well and it was beautiful. However, we did ask for light ice and came with a lot of ice. The French toast also looked beautiful with all the fruit and it was delicious. I thought the bagel would come already spread with cream cheese and not that you would have to do it yourself. What a near atmosphere this place has! Super clean, very nice decor, the food looks and tastes so good and the staff are super nice. This was my first time going and I got the eggs Benedict. Super flavorful! My husband got the scrambled eggs which were cooked perfectly, bacon and pancakes. And my brother in law got the breakfast nachos which I would highly recommend! read more

Popped in for breakfast before starting my day. Their baked goods counter looked divine and I hope to have a chance to grab something before I leave NYC. This meal though, I chose the Paco which is a pancake taco with egg and bacon inside. I did my best to eat it as a taco, dipping it into the syrup and this went very well for me with the first one. By the time I got to the second, I was getting full so I tore it apart focusing more on the proteins. My server was attentive and kind. Will definitely return on future trips. read more

Subpar diner but convenient if you're looking for a breakfast place near WTC. The food itself was equivalent to chain diner places, which is a bit disappointing since I was expecting something a bit more unique. I got the lox omelette, which was a your typical below average, slightly spongy omelette with cooked salmon bits and onions in it. I also tried the crab benedict, which looked very depressing and just tasted okay. Not even the sauce could save it. Overall, won't be going back. read more
