Now operated under a new name and ownership!! The young lady who welcomed us said this change happened about three weeks or so ago. The inside looks the same and yet it looks fancier than the previous one. The menu is very similar and yet I am not complaining about it at all as Zaytoon's food offerings were really good and the quality was wonderful. This time, I dined in (with a friend of mine.) At 1pm, there was nobody inside when I stepped in but after my friend had arrived, several different groups of people came in and went. It appeared though that it was a slow Friday lunch for them. After perusing the menu, I landed on the lunch menu; its offerings looked good so I ordered Chicken Shish Kabob with a bed of Turkish rice with a side garlic sauce. My friend ordered the beef version with the same rice and for the sauce, she got the Turkish salsa type sauce. She asked us we wanted pita bread to which we both said no. As far as I can remember the both plates are at $14.99 (this is as of July 11, 2025.) Good portion as well. Oh, I got for us the potato sambusa (per the young lady the chef said these sambusas are made gluten free so my friend could eat them.) The quality of all the dishes we had? Solid like the Zaytoon time. I especially enjoyed the Turkish rice which I had never had it until yesterday. Rice had a similar texture to couscous. This rice tastes lighter than the other types of rice so it doesn't sit heavy on your stomach. So in conclusion, clean dining room, welcome staff but most of all, quality food are what impressed me about this new restaurant. They made a nice transition to be a better place. I hope to utilize them more often than I used to.

This spot was sooooo good! We decided to order the mega combo that had a mix of different meats with bulgur rice as a side. All the meats were cooked perfectly and the rice had so much flavor. My favorite dip was definitely the garlic one and it paired well with all the meats. We also got a salad and it was perfect to cut through the heaviness from the meat. It's a large restaurant with plenty of space and it wasn't busy around 11:30am on a Saturday. The service was great and he was very informative. 10/10 would come back.

Great spot for Mediterranean! The pita was perfect for the delicious sandwiches- we had a gyro and the chicken Shawarma and small fries! The dill sauce is the best and the small Turkish tea was a nice addition to the meal.

Chicken Shawarma, Chicken Kofta kabob, Baba Ghanoush (App), Hummus (Side)

I had to write another excellent review for Zaytoon! I met a friend for dinner there last night, and tried another new dish. Of course, I had to start with the baba ghanoush for appetizer, because that is the very best! Had chicken Shawarma this time and it was so flavorful and tender and moist. Had a side dish of hummus and bulgar underneath. So delicious! We keep coming back and try new dishes, but of course always starting with the baba ghanoush!

Ordered pickup. Got there at pickup time but they hadn't started, so I had to wait another 20 minutes. Lamb kebab might actually be the toughest meat I've had in my life. Even when I cut with the grain, it felt like cutting into a motel mattress. Only giving 2 stars because it did have good flavor, but that disappeared pretty quickly since I had to chew for so long.

A cute little Mediterranean restaurant with an Afghan flare. The customer service was good as well as the food. I tried the "Mantu" a dish that is made in Afghanistan. It was Fantastic! Be warned though it takes 40 min to prepare but it is with the wait!

Very nice lunch with my daughter! She wanted something healthy and close to the house. We both love Mediterranean, so off we went to Zaytoon. This is the former location of Crave, and idk what happened to them. I liked them. The interior is pretty much the same. Very spare and simple, but with fun lighting fixtures. Service was excellent. Efficient and very polite. My daughter wanted to try grape leaves. I didn't think that she would like them, but stayed quiet. We encouraged both kids to have adventurous palates. They weren't her favorite, but the filling wasn't bad. She had the gyro wrap, and I had the chicken shawarma. Both were DELICIOUS!! They were wrapped in a very, very thin flatbread that could possibly be mistaken for paper. It was unusual to me. But a very nice change from giant flour burrito wraps. I liked it. We also got a giant order of fries to share. They were CRINKLE FRIES!! And so yummy!!! Perfectly cooked. I ate way too many. Yum! Took half the sandwich home. Very generous size. We really liked this place. Will return, maybe even get my next plane sandwich here.

How this place has a decent rating is beyond me. Hands down the worst Gyro I've ever had. The pita immediately crumbled, is super dry and the whole thing is just bad. I wondered how it was going to taste when the hot sauce that came with the order was an assortment of packets from Taco Bell, del taco, and some Asian restaurant. What a bunch of cheapskates. This was a delivery order, but I watched it get picked up and delivered to our house 5 minutes later, so it's not like it sat for a while and that was the issue. Trust me, it's awful. Both me and my wife threw the food away after a couple bites. I NEVER throw food away, it was literally that bad.

Chicken Kabob skewer This was fabulous! A great restaurant! Great Atmosphere and wonderful staff!

Great food, great atmosphere wonderful staff a hidden gem for sure. Highly recommend!

Best Middle Eastern food I've ever had! The chicken shawarma was tender, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned, while the lamb kabob was juicy and cooked to perfection. The rice was absolutely incredible--fluffy, fragrant, and full of flavor. Every bite was a delight. I can't wait to come back!

Best Mediterranean food I've had since leaving Europe; authentic, fresh, straight from the grill hot, and an incredible staff.

We ordered a handful of kabobs, dolmas, salad, rice and home made bread. The Afghani type green sauce paired quite well with the meat selection, and the value was there. I am enthralled to try more options on the menu. The lamb, chicken and beef were all tender and to die for.

The gracious server/owner- Muhammed said they had been open about 2 months. It wasn't busy at that time, the street was all tore up with construction which plays havoc with those small businesses. We had an appetizer of grape leaves, which were fresh and large; which my hubby enjoyed either the spicy green sauce. Except for my sandwich , a small side of hummus was also served with the dinner plates. My hubby had Mantu which were like beef dumplings but served with a small very fresh side salad . We all received salads which had a zesty Mediterranean style vinaigrette . My Pakistani roomie had the chicken schwarma plate with rice as he had been craving it for a while . He isn't a big eater but he ate almost all of it. His uncle had lamb kabobs that looked crispy and filling served with rice plus pita bread was served for all three of their dinners . The pita bread was sooo good ! Fluffy - tasty . I had the chicken schwarma and added a side of fries - skip the fries lol. Also I ordered a side of tzatziki sauce and a huge side of it came out . The sandwich had a spicy green sauce and was served with, I believe ,homemade hummus. The spicy sauce has a little kick but it's not extreme as I can't handle stupidly hot anymore . I added the tzatziki sauce and it was luscious with fresh veggies , spices and chicken . The bread was a bit soggy from the green sauce and veggies . Eat it quickly ! Everyone enjoyed their meal it was a relaxed casual atmosphere. It is a 100 percent halal and they even have pizza . Go support this wonderful family business . I am no expert on this type of cuisine but yummm!

The paneer bhurji biryani was very mild despite requesting it spicy, and the cold onions on top made me wonder if the biryani was freshly prepared. About a month later, I decided to give this place another try and ordered the veg kheema biryani, extra spicy. I kept my expectations low but was pleasantly surprised. It was so good! Since then, I've ordered the Gobi 65 biryani and veg kheema biryani multiple times, and they've been consistently delicious. Happy to say this place really won me over.

We had a great dining experience at Mad Over Curry!…read more The food was phenomenal ; fresh, flavorful and beautifully prepared. This used to be Hyderabad House, but everything feels elevated with this new management. The decor is stylish and welcoming, creating a fine dining atmosphere Another major plus, no wasteful buffets here, which is great to see Most impressively, however, is their staunch commitment to being eco-friendly. The owner is very conscious about avoiding plastics, from the takeout containers to the in house service ware. I didn't see any melamine plates and even the straws were made of paper. It feels great to enjoy delicious hot food without worrying about microplastics or chemicals leaching from plastic dishes, which unfortunately is still common in many other places. We're so glad we found Mad Over Curry and will definitely go there more often! Highly recommended!
