I was in Winchester today and decided to eat at Zaxby's since it had been a few years since I ate at one in Tennessee. I went in and got reminded about the nice interior they have. A very nice interior decorated nicely and they had a tv on showing a sports game you could watch while standing in line, that I thought was really nice. I went in and got in line with 3 people in front of me at 12:40 on a Sunday afternoon. It took a few minutes to get through the line and got helped by a friendly young lady who took my order of a Signature Sandwich Meal, upsized my fries and drink and got me some cheddar bites. The signature sandwich was good and the fries were good, but the cheddar bites were not very good. I had some of the cheese curds at Cook-Out the day before nearby here and those were better. I'd get the sandwich and fries again, but I'd skip the cheddar bites and try something else on the menu. While eating, I found I needed some extra sauce and I was able to go up to the front cashier and get it no problem. This was def a good meal and made me hope it's not so long until the next time I try them again. read more

Everytime I visit this location, it is hit or miss. But today was hit. I am happy that they serve us so late when we arrive. There are other locations I have been in and this is elite compared to the other. read more

There is nothing more infuriating than being asked to wait in the parking lot for a drive-thru order only for them to get it wrong and you don't know until you get home. Ordered a zen salad and got chicken on lettuce. Did not get one of the egg rolls I paid for. The fries were good which is why I gave them 2 stars. read more

I tried Zaxbys in Georgia and it was horrible. But gave them another shot because my kids pressed me out. Glad I did. The food was fresh and those seasoned fries were sooo good. It was a great switch up from our norm. The hot honey mustard is really good. Next time I got to ask for extra seasoning on my fries. Strawberry lemonade... bomb. Extra sauce cost too much though. But Food came out quick and staff were nice and quick. I hate the drive-thru curb ... I almost scraped up my rims. Other than that, will definitely go back. read more

The inside isn't open unless you are picking up from placing a order online. My son went inside to pick up his food and wore a face mask as well. My son wanted Zaxby's and this was the last one before we hit Pennsylvania, so we came here. I don't eat chicken, so I didn't get anything here. My son love the wings and things, so he ordered that and my husband had a Zaxby's salad and a chicken sandwich with wimpy sauce and fries. They both loved their lunch and most definitely will be back if we're traveling I-81, North or South. read more

Not too bad of a dinner for Saturday night. I had the traditional wings with sweet and spicy sauce. This is the only sauce that I like from there. Wings were pretty good but I wished the bread was a little more toasty and the fries a little more crunchy. It was good overall! Probably the most mediocre chicken sandwich I've ever had. I came here excited to try this place since I always see a ton of commercials on tv. It looked good! The result was less than astonishing. While my meal was prepared fine, the lack of flavor and overall size of the meal did not fit the bill. So, for context, I am familiar with Zaxby's in depth as the first location was started in my hometown. I was very surprised to find one here in Winchester, and I go at least once a week. The service is good, and the cleanliness is in sync with their corporate image. The staff are super nice and what you would expect from Zaxby's. The food? Well, it is the standard across the board. Last night was the last time we will be eating here. I have no clue how we can have so many bad experiences on multiple visits; it is extremely telling. It was fine up until we received our food. I asked for a single sauce with my combo. Khayla was rude from the get-go. "You have to pay for sauces, they're $.25." From there, I stated I always received a ranch without asking. Not sure why a complimentary sauce per meal is an issue. We went back and forth, to which she caved, and gave me the sauce. Not before she explained that their "boss" (manager/owner?) complained they were giving away "free sauces." I didn't realize paying for a meal meant free. Still she retained her cheerful attitude and she called the manager over (who I asked to see in the beginning but she refused). The manager was his own episode of unprofessionalism. I don't understand the combative nature of managers these days and over $.25. He argued with me that the #5 comes with sauce to which I explained that you're at the will of the person preparing them. Does buying a sauce for $.25 with a potential separate fee make any of this worth it. If you're going to make such a policy and randomly change it you need to inform the customer while they're ordering (still ridiculous). 2 stars because the food is decent. read more

Food is decent for the price. 2 stars simply because of the consistent lack of service and piss poor level of attention or "simply don't give a shit" attitude of crew. If you place an order on the app or at the drive-thru, you MUST be sure that you check it before pulling away. 90 % of the times the sauces you receive will be wrong. Can't be sure if requests are ignored, or they just don't give a f@ck. You'll probably also want to order two drinks as your cup is the ice scoop, and your cup will BE PACKED FULL of ice before your drink is dispensed check it too because that isn't always right either but is significantly more correct than the sauces! read more

Disgusting! Against better judgment, wanted to compare it to Raising Cane's and immediately upon viewing our food we knew it would not compare. Order was incorrect after repeating it several times, but just went with it in the end. So much breading on the chicken, cold white bread that appeared to be sitting all day, not Texas toast, and soggy fries! The aftertaste left in my mouth was so nasty. After waiting in the drive thru for 20 minutes for someone to take the order.. then what at the window for another 15 minutes... only to watch the ladies hang around the soda fountain...and still not receiving our order - requested a refund. Walked-in, said I was there for pick up. The employee at the register turned around, read the order details on the receipt stapled to the bag, looked inside it, and handed it to me. I checked the bag as I walked outside and realized an item was missing. Went back in, got the item, went home. When I got home, realized they had forgotten another item on the list that I didn't catch the first time. I'm not interested in spending money and then walking away without the items.
