This Zaxbys has been a staple in the Newnan fast food scene for many years. Located just off of Exit 47 on Bullsboro, this is your standard Zaxbys location. Nothing special, but always consistent with the tenders. Given the age of the store, this location is showing a bit of wear, inside and out. With that, they keep things clean, which is nice. I am a classic Zax Snack guy, but always request fries to be extra done and added seasoning...as their fries can get soggy and bland real quick. Service here is hit and miss, definitely less consistent than the food, which is honestly what I'm after. Overall, nothing wildly good or bad about this Zaxbys location. Just left this place. Called back because I was missing lots of items. It looked like the place was being graded by higher ups in their chain. Unfortunately, management sucked. I called and asked for a manager. He said his name was Josh. A young black gentleman. He said do you want to come back. No sir. He offered no other way to be compensated at all. This is NOT the first time this store has behaved this way. Seems like the store was being tested today. There were people outside the drive through watching patrons come through. I will no longer support this store. Something like this happened to my husband and I in Augusta. The manager took our name and wrote it down in a book. She asked us to bring the receipt. My husband is greedy. We're from Georgia but have been living in Virginia for sometime. We visit Augusta pretty often that store manager knows how to keep customers and accept responsibility for slip ups. read more

Ordered food through DoorDash last night. Driver had to wait an unusually long time for my order, so long that the first driver left and it got assigned to another driver. When food was delivered, part of the order was missing (the chicken sandwich) and the rest of it was cold, hard and overcooked. The shrimp on the Asian salad were so hard and dried out they were not edible and they sent the wrong salad dressing. The chicken fingers were more like hard chicken nuggets that had been cooked in old grease. They were cold as well. They threw some hard overcooked shrimp in with the chicken pieces that was supposed to be fingers. The tea had no ice in it. It was horrible. We ended up throwing the entire order in the garbage. I can't believe they actually sent that food to a customer. The food wasn't even lukewarm! It was cold. read more

Visited today and tried a few of their new items. First the wait in the drive thru line was super long. We ordered the Wings and things combo, the new chicken taco and the new cheesecake bites. The combo was good as always. However the portions have gone down a lot. The taco was just ok. The cheesecake bites were the BEST thing we ordered. They were hot and fresh and a great price. Don't know if they were having a bad day but by far the dirtiest Zaxby's I've been to. Sticky floors, trash everywhere, not one table had a clear/clean surface. You can tell they don't clean the tables. I wish I would've taken a picture of the wipes I used to clean the booth we sat at cause they turned black from the lack of cleaning is what I'm assuming. I went through the drive-through of this Zaxby's restaurant and asked for a serpent turf drove to my location, sat down and eat. The chicken strips were so overcooked they were curled up and hard. The shrimp was cold and the fries were cold. Also, besides that the Diet Coke tastes like seltzer! Call the restaurant explain to them what happened they told me to drive back to the restaurant which is 20 miles out the way present the food and a receipt to get a refund, after I've driven to the restaurant showed the receipt and they looked at the food. She said you have eaten 3 to 4 shrimp and that we cannot give you the full refund? I expressed to her I drove Back 26 miles to get a refund and now you tell me as a partial refund? I found out this restaurant is independently owned and they told me to call whoever I wanna call so I'm on this site explaining what happened to me at this restaurant in a good neighborhood. Utterly garbage of a Zaxby's, from the small filet on my sandwich, to the seat that you almost fall to the floor when you sit down, this place needs a revamp. I ordered the grilled Cobb Zalad without fried onion straws and without toast. They got the order correct. However, aside from sufficient grilled chicken and a whole egg, the bacon was scant, the tomato and cucumber were scant, and there was only a PINCH of shredded cheese. The ratio of lettuce and toppings seriously needs to be evaluated. I personally despise a tossed/mixed salad that I have to mix up myself (when they put toppings in four corners instead of scattering them across the top) but that's a strong PERSONAL preference for which wouldn't give low marks in a review. Skimping on ingredients (I often get this salad and know what I'm used to getting!) however isn't cool! When I pay $10.39, I'd like to feel like I a got a good value. I enjoy zaxby's and want to like this place since it is near my home, but they make it incredibly hard. Orders are always wrong and service is poor. If you go to this location ask to check your food because 90% of the time it's wrong. My wife ordered a salad with chicken and egg roll. Got home no chicken on the salad and egg roll was so burnt it was black. My wings and things meal should have been tossed in hot honey mustard, confirmed on receipt, wings no sauce and fingers no sauce. Back when I lived in Louisiana I never liked Zaxbys since we had Canes's as a competitor. However, since I moved to Georgia, I decided to give them another shot, and I must say that I am pretty impressed! I've come back a few times now, and each time the staff is very friendly. The drive through line is always pretty long and the wait ends up being 20 minutes, but it's honestly worth it. This was my first visit to this location. I was originally in the drive thru, but it did not move at all within 5+mins, so I parked and went inside. Inside, the lobby area near the counter had several families waiting for their orders. There were so many people waiting, that it was unclear if there was a line to order or not. The lobby area was clean overall. The counter near the straws and drink machine needed to be cleaned up. There were tops and straw wrappers all over. The young man that took my order was mildly friendly. I ordered a kids meal and a salad. I had to remind him that a drink comes with the kids meal and later that a cookie comes with it also. When he wasn't taking orders, he was stocking bags, so he is probably a good worker. There seemed to be a lot of employees behind the counter, so I'm not sure why the service was so slow. As well as threatening to quit to go home, and cursing and rapping. This also caused the drive thru to become extremely backed up, experience overall made me extremely uncomfortable. The hot honey mustard sauce makes this place great The only complaint I've ever had is that the chicken tenders are pretty inconsistent. There is only 1 soda machine for the lunch rush. If you have kids this is a serious design flaw. I asked for blue cheese with my wings (don't worry they charged me extra). I told them I do not want the salad dressing , so can you just give me a ranch ? They put the blue cheese dressing , UNDER the wings . The package was covered in sauce . The girl behind the counter , cleaned it off with her sleeve and put it back in the bucket to give to other customers . They are rude and a confused bunch of employees at this place . Immediately upon walking through the entrance, I was greeted with freshly "mopped" floors, which I promptly fell on. I use the term mopped loosely, it was more like flooded. And while there was a "wet floor" sign warning me, the entire path into the store was soaking wet with about an inch of water, so it wasn't like I could have just walked around it. Luckily I'm only left with a bruised arm and ego. Zaxby's, consider yourself lucky as well. Thankfully I am young enough to be fine after such a fall, and it wasn't an older more frail person who slipped on your improperly mopped floors. A rainy night in Georgia finds me driving from the Atlanta airport to Columbus. Knowing it is getting late in the south on a Sunday I pull in for a bite. The chain I really wanted was the wrong way. It is clean enough though it suffers from neglect torn benches and the sort. The staff is the typical young people at a fast food chain. There was no passion. But it is not a place that lends itself to employee pride. They got my order correct and did not wreck the meal so that was good. Compared to the other chicken fingers places they love their salt here. I mean they love it. So take it easy on the fries that were processed fresh at a plant far from here and then frozen. Here the oil used to fry them seems clean. The toast was only toasted on one side weird. The slaw is generic at best. There are much better choices for chicken fingers but not as plentiful. This is the worst zaxbys I have ever been too. The staff was very rude and unhelpful. They tried to charge me a dollar for water, then when asking for a honey mustard sauce they charged me 25 cents. This Zaxby's was absolutely disgusting with a terrible atmosphere. The restaurant was an igloo and the workers were rude. No paper towels were in the bathroom, also multiple hairs on the sinks. No silverware was available. Sticky tables. This restaurant was an absolute pigsty with ignorant workers. In conclusion, if I wanted to eat my food out of a box I would have went through the drive through. But instead I ate a cold meal out of a box INSIDE the restaurant. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! Most of the staff here are extremely rude and disrespectful. Any small change in your order or question is received with an attitude and glares from the other workers inside. Not a single person has a smile on their face and they don't seem to realize that they are supposed to be doing their jobs correctly. Many times the items in our order have been left out or made incorrectly. They are very quick to charge you for any type of sauce and never seem to listen to your requests in the drive-thru. Our order took over ten minutes to be prepared and they were slow and I work in a restaurant so I can judge that pretty well. They only had one car in drive thru and three other customers who came after us. We went over our order for like 5 minutes with the lady taking our order and then it was wrong and she put it as a to go when she asked us twice if it was to go and we said it was for here both times. This place kinda reminds me of Guthries Chicken from Alabama. Great chicken fingers and sauce, especially the Kickin Chicken Combo. The SWEET tea is awesome-blows the doors off all other restaurants; McDonald's is a close 2nd . Even the slaw is pretty good(very small portions). Don't care too much for their so-called hot wings, more like chicken finger chunks. The prices are on par for fast food. The service and restaurant up-keep are below par. The soda fountain area is usually nasty and sticky, seating area when busy is not kept up. Most employees act as if they'd rather be somewhere else. read more
