We love Zaxbys! The kids love the loaded fries as much as we do. Portion size is perfect and toppings don't over saturate to make the fries mushy. The signature chicken sandwich was to bland for me so I won't order again. It needs cheese , lettuce and tomato . It's just plain chicken with a pickle .. blah We love the chicken fingers plates with fries and coleslaw or double fries , add some sauces and yummy in the tummy. All the salads are delicious and also large enough to share ! Service was good and friendly and for what we could see this is a new location so it was very clean and modern . A friend of mine and I are traveling with our granddaughters and stopped at Zaxbys New Smyrna Beach. We were waited on By Amiah, Christian, and Kevin, - all were absolutely fabulous. Well, for only my 2nd time eating at a Zaxbys I can report that the food is really good! I wasn't able to sit inside because I was on the clock, so through the drive thru I went. Pricing was OK... but what isn't expensive now a days. The gentleman over the speaker was helpful with suggestions, and I settled on just a 10 piece meal with their Zaxbys sauce. This was my first time to ever try Zaxbys and I was very disappointed. First of all just to get in/out of there parking lot is a bit of a challenge. Went through the drive thru, the gentleman was very nice and patient as it was very hard to hear him on the speaker. He asked if I want to try a box, I asked what it was and it seemed just easier to order that then try to decide. My box consisted of the following: 4 chicken strips, fries, cheesy fried things, 2 cookies & a beverage. For a whopping $15.50! The chicken strips were juicy but the size of them were small and didn't have much coating on them, the fries were good, the cheese balls we're nice and hot and decent, the cookies were kind of boring. First time eating at Zaxby's. I had the Cobb salad and it was so fresh! Delicious. My daughter had chicken tenders and fries and the were good too. I liked the seasoning on the fries. The employees were very polite and helpful. One even delivered good directly to the table of an elderly couple, rather than making them come up to the counter. read more

Tried the new Zaxby's in NSB and it was awesome! The staff were courteous and helpful, and the restaurant was very clean and had a cool vibe. The chicken tenders were fantastic and I loved their dipping sauce! I'm not one to complain, and we have been to this Zaxby's many times. The last few times there is an issue with our order. Ordered two Cobb salads tonight with dressings. I got one salad in my bag, so I didn't leave until I got the other. (The last time, I didn't check the bag and my order was incomplete after driving all the way home) Got home, no dressing for my wife's salad, 4 Zax sauce which we didn't need and didn't order. The salad was dried out, completely absorbed the two paper thin dressing packets. It will probably be quite some time before we try it again. At $25 for the two salads, it is very disappointing. I was working close to this location in New Smyrna , but when I read the reviews I almost didn't come here. I know new businesses can take a little while to get running smoothly, so I decided to give it a try. Pulled up to a super clean parking lot, where an employee was currently sweeping. They keep it spotless. Walked in , classic zaxby decor. I was greeted by a friendly person eager to take my order. Food came fast and hot , like my wife. Food tasted great, like my wife. Okay... so the food is good... my complaint here is every time I order a meal including coleslaw, they ask me "do you want the coleslaw?" Yes I want the coleslaw that's why I'm ordering the meal that comes with it! Lol... I'm not usually one to write reviews but out of the 6+ times I have visited this location, 3 times my order had been wrong, taken WAY too long in the drive-through (25 minute wait one time)?
