Salad Brussel Sprouts were good. Street corn was delicious. Had a bowl with pulled pork. Guacamole Pico de Gallo. Black Beans. With what they claim is "Red Rice" Bowl was good. BUT It isn't actually Red Rice . There's such a thing called red Rice. Don't false advertise white rice and add coloring to it or add saffron . And the very dim lights make it hard to see the food and the menu. I've had better black beans . The Sweet Plantains. They're not sweet if you char them black. They're supposed to be cooked or sautéed in oil or butter sprinkle some sugar on them to create a Glaze. Pulled pork was dry Unacceptable. I usually give it 5 stars but this time it was a dissapointment.

Cool casual vibes on the patio or inside. Great service. Delicious food! Have been multiple times and always delighted. The mahi or the scallop and bacon tacos are sublime! Lovely cocktails. Great menu. A favorite NSB stop every time!

Bruh... I stumbled upon this place while in New Smyrna beach and I'm so glad that I did! It's outside seating is so cute and comfortable. I was seated right away at a high table, and taken care of instantly! Out prided were placed and served all within 20 minutes or less! I ordered this chicken breast that was nestled so eloquently on top of a bed of yuca mash and topped with this flavorful mojo sauce that seemed to have some mustard seeds in it! Sliced cucumbers & tomatoes as well on top! I had them remove my tomatoes because my tummy doesn't agree with them. I can't wait to return! It's a 45 minute drive for me but it's really worth it!

Wow! What a unique restaurant in New Smyrna! Tucked behind another restaurant, Cafe Verde has a lot to offer on their menu. Their tacos were delicious, the chips & dips were great, and drink menu good. The nighttime atmosphere is very intimate, neat, and great for date nights. HIGHLY recommend this for a night out!

One of my friends gave us a gift card to try Cafe Verde in New Smyrna Beach! It was recently remodeled! He loves this place and knew my husband and I love to try new places.. we are big fans now! The menu has variety that appeals the all of f us! You can't go wrong with any only the choices. We started out with the chips and salsa sampler and got some of their drinks! I got the Pasta Verdure which was filled with veggies! My husband liked my food and kept stealing some bites! He got Yuca fries and Mahi tacos! Everything we ate was outstanding! We had great service and our server checked on us often! So many choices that we have no choice but to come back! Loved it here!

My favorite spot on Flagler avenue! Cafe verde is great for groups with mixed dietary needs. They have tasty vegan options and basic options. I love to get the tofu bowl. It's tastes like chipotle but way better quality. The yucca fries and hummus are great dishes to share. The cocktails are so fresh and delicious! They recently did some remodeling and it looks so good! The new aesthetic is cozy and great for a date night. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Great for larger groups as well. The outdoor area is dog friendly which is awesome. There is parking behind the restaurant. Highly recommend this spot over any other restaurant on Flagler avenue.

Fantastic outdoor afternoon dining. The tuna entree was amazing - flavorful, expertly prepared and a bit spicy. Take a look a look at the pic, it even looks delicious! The Brussels sprouts appetizer was also very good and would have been better if my wife would have eaten less of it ;). The service was great, she was knowledgeable and smiling.

    The patio.

Food was the best I've ever had in New Smyrna Beach, the service was great, and the ambiance was great. This is now my favorite restaurant I will definitely be coming back. You must try it you won't be disappointed. I don't often leave reviews but just had to with this place.

While in NSB we went here for lunch. They recently remodeled, and did a good job. We sat outside. They have a cute shaded patio with plenty of seating. We shared the yucca fries, and I ordered the blackened mahi tacos as my entree. The tacos were tasty. They had a nice slice of mahi with cabbage and aioli. The yucca fries were also good and came with a mojo dipping sauce. They have a pretty big menu including tacos, gyros, bowls, etc. There's plenty to choose from. Our waitress was friendly, and our food came out pretty quickly. Overall, a great experience, and I'd definitely go back next time I'm in town.

This mall does feel like a backroom, or liminal space. They are as advertised, a local Italian market, deli, and bakery. The trifecta, if you will. It's got a huge parking space area and located next to a gym. They offer a lot of Italian goods from cheese to meats to pistachio spread to snacks. The meat counter offers hot sandwiches and they even have a sandwich of the week. They have a bakery counter and to no one's surprise, many items will be sold out if you go at the end of the day. This was disappointing for me as I really wanted to try their pistachio sfogliatelle. So we got two huge sandwiches, which they cut in half for you, and some baked goods and coffee. They have a coffee counter and the lattes are good. We tried the sandwich of the week, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with caramelized onions, fig jam, and provolone. This was a 8.5/10. It was good, rich, and fatty. Not a light meal sandwich. Definitely had half of it and felt very full. We also got the Soprano, which was a breaded chicken cutlet on fresh baked bread with pesto, tomatoes, prosciutto, arugula, and fresh shaved parmesan. This was a 9/10. Lighter on the body than the other sandwich, but it was still filling and I can only have one half at a time. The sandwiches came out to about $30 for both, but that's almost four meals right there for that price. For the baked goods, we tried the Nutella sfogliatelle, pistachio creampuff, and a pistachio cannoli. A sfogliatelle is a laminated pastry that looks like a lobster tail. This was delicious and crispy and sweet. I wish I could have tried the pistachio one. This was a 8.5/10. The pistachio creampuff surprised me. This was a 8.5/10. I thought it was going to be too sweet, but it was good. Pistachio flavor could have been stronger. The pistachio cannoli was a 10/10. This was insanely good and perfect and I should have bought five of them. We tried the cookie butter latte from the cafe. This was a 9/10. The cookie butter was well mixed with the espresso and the espresso was strong and high quality. Overall, this place was a 9.5/10 and I will be back. I mean those prices and that quality moves it from the "let me try" list to the "let me be a regular" list.

Saw an ad for D'Amico & Sons and decided it was worth the drive over to the Oviedo Mall for lunch…read more I'm glad I made the trip. The market occupies a storefront outside the mall with plenty of convenient parking nearby. Once inside, I was impressed by how spacious it is. There's a bakery, deli, gelato case, and an impressive selection of prepared foods including lasagna, spaghetti and meatballs, Alfredo, and other Italian favorites. Shelves are also stocked with imported pastas, sauces, olive oils, and other specialty items, making it just as much an Italian market as a lunch destination. I arrived around noon and found a short line at the deli counter. Even during the lunch rush, I had my order placed and was waiting in the pickup area within about five minutes. Now for my own self-inflicted mistake. I walked in fully intending to order the Sinatra with mortadella, but somehow had a complete brain freeze and ordered the Sparano instead. I didn't realize my error until I unwrapped the sandwich at one of the outdoor tables. Oh well...it looked too good not to dive in. The Sparano is built on a beautiful artisan roll with basil pesto, a cold chicken cutlet, Prosciutto di Parma, fresh mozzarella, roasted red peppers, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle. Flavor wise, it was excellent. Every ingredient tasted fresh and high quality. My only criticism was the overall texture. The sandwich ate a little dry for my taste, and I think it could benefit from a touch more moisture, perhaps a little extra balsamic, olive oil, or another spread to better complement the hearty bread. The roll itself was exactly the type of rustic Italian bread I normally love, with a chewy interior and beautifully crisp crust. Combined with the generous size of the sandwich, however, it became a bit of a challenge to take a proper bite. By the end, the roof of my mouth had definitely lost the battle with that crust. Even so, the quality of the ingredients and the generous portion made it an excellent value. Next time I'll actually order the sandwich I intended, the Sinatra and if it's as good as it looks, I have a feeling I'll be making this trip more often.
