I have really never been disappointed with Jersey Mike's but this location was very disappointing - I like toasted sub's and the lone attendant told us this location doesn't have a toaster or anyway to make a hot sub, I questioned this since I have been enjoying hot subs from Jersey Mike's for years. Our cold "Italian" was just okay at best, the meats were fresh and plentiful as were the toppings but this is not a sub I would of ordered had I known this upfront especially since he drowned this cold sandwich in oil and vinegar completely saturating the bread. The "sandwich technician" on duty today was very professional but didn't seem very motivated to go above and beyond in any sense of the word but was very focused on following all the protocols required to make a "compliant sandwich" he weighed our subs each time he added ingredients. They weren't busy when we arrived but I can imagine the wait time would be long if they had a few people in line. A good sandwich shop right off LPGA Blvd This chain started in 1975 when Peter Cancro of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey at the age of 18 bought a local sandwich restaurant named Mike's Submarines. He renamed and franchised the business and grew it into 2700 stores around the United States today. Florida sport 216 of these stores and this is one of them. This one is located slightly to the north of the Tanger outlet mall and south of the Bucee's in a small 5-business strip mall. Parking is pretty limited and traffic can be a little difficult. The storefront is not very large and has 2 tables outside and 2 inside. You have to squeeze by one table to enter the line. As with most sandwich shops you order at one end of the see-through glass and follow your order to the end. I went there when I was visiting the area recently and they had a Friday Easter Special. I ordered a tuna sub. It was prepared within minutes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The store was clean and the price was very reasonable. Overall, this is a good place to get a good meal at a reasonable price in the Daytona area. read more

avoid this Jersey mikes at ALL cost. I went in and asked them questions because I had never gotten a hot sub. I told them my exact order and it came out the complete opposite. I wanted a bowl and they gave me a sandwhich. My original question was "if I get a hot sandwhich can I still put cold toppings on it" they said yes and still served it to me plain. I don't normally do reviews, but felt compelled to post a contrasting review to some of the ones on here. We are here for a dance competition and my daughter isn't much of a fish/seafood girl. I drove the 20 minutes today, on a busy Saturday, and the store was pretty crowded. I ordered 2 sandwiches, one of which I ordered gluten free because I have Celiac. The two guys working were awesome. The one working the meat slicer changed his gloves, cleaned the slicer and countertops, and then changed his gloves again. The guy doing the condiments changed his gloves after finishing the person in front of me's sandwich, wrapped up my daughter's sandwich, and changed his gloves again. They put my sandwich on a tray and he went in the back to get lettuce and pickles that weren't in the normal container. They were super careful and I was very impressed. read more

A shame I am having to put this review here as I do like Jersey mikes. . Our company made a order online of 9 sandwiches a little before noon. Delivery driver shows up nearly 45 minutes later and the store hadn't even started attempting to make our meal. The store called to try and get us to cancel because they have a line of people after we had been already waiting 45 minutes. Been over a hour now and still haven't even started making the sandwiches because people are in line. Help me here. Is there a rule that online orders are only made after there is no one in line? Very frustrating when they call to try and get you to cancel nearly a hour after you ordered. I prefer Jersey Mikes and day over jimmy John's but the service of Jersey mikes is forcing my hand to stop ordering for our company and myself there. read more

I placed an order through DoorDash tonight because it was not convenient for me to pick up the order. When DoorDash arrived with the order and quickly left I noticed that they did not bring the GIANT #13 that I ordered to share with my Husband instead they brought a Regular #13 which is not big enough to feed both of us so I looked at my receipt (by the way a sub and 3 small bags of chips was over $33) I was indeed charged for a GIANT so I had to go to the store anyway. I arrived and was greeted by Erica, I explained the situation and was told "well, I can make you another sub but if you want anything else done that I would have to call DoorDash" I didn't understand what DoorDash had to do with it because they did exactly what they were hired to do which was just pick up a bag and deliver it to me, it was either Erica or the only other person working his name was Carlos and he agreed that I should call DoorDash and complain because he does it all the time and they give him free stuff ! That's not very nice and again it was them that made the mistake not DoorDash. !!!!! Erica called her old Manager (Amanda) because neither one of them new who the new Manager is they think his name is "Corey" ! Look I am not cheap, if I was I wouldn't have paid all of the extra fees to DoorDash but I did want some concern from Jersey Mikes maybe even offer me a cookie and an apology for making the wrong size sub to begin with and making me have to drive to the store but nope I didn't get either I got well you can call back tomorrow and try to talk to a manager. This is absolutely the first and the very last time that I will ever purchase anything from this specific store. My family and I love Jersey Mike's and we order from them often but I will drive the extra miles to go to a different store because this one doesn't give a crap about their customers to the Jersey Mikes management team, I think Erica and Carlos could use some more training on how to speak with unhappy customers !!
