A good sandwich shop right off LPGA Blvd This chain started in 1975 when Peter Cancro of Point Pleasant Beach, New Jersey at the age of 18 bought a local sandwich restaurant named Mike's Submarines. He renamed and franchised the business and grew it into 2700 stores around the United States today. Florida sport 216 of these stores and this is one of them. This one is located slightly to the north of the Tanger outlet mall and south of the Bucee's in a small 5-business strip mall. Parking is pretty limited and traffic can be a little difficult. The storefront is not very large and has 2 tables outside and 2 inside. You have to squeeze by one table to enter the line. As with most sandwich shops you order at one end of the see-through glass and follow your order to the end. I went there when I was visiting the area recently and they had a Friday Easter Special. I ordered a tuna sub. It was prepared within minutes. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The store was clean and the price was very reasonable. Overall, this is a good place to get a good meal at a reasonable price in the Daytona area.

Doesn't look like a giant size sub to me !!!!

We saw this place was in the plaza next door and decided to try and thank the LORD we did. Dominick's is one of those delis that you wish was on every corner. The menu was actually crazy - everything you can think of for sandwiches on one menu. Originally was going for a chicken Caesar wrap and I'm so happy I switched it up because everything here is FRESH - all the toppings, bread, deli meats, salads, everything seriously looked incredible. I was eyeing everyone's plates to see what others were getting and it all looked amazing. The place was packed for a Monday lunch rush and it makes sense why. I didn't grab her name, but the cashier at the front was extremely helpful and even brought me a spoonful of the chicken salad to try (which I ended up getting a side of!) The food, the service, atmosphere, and prices were all 10/10. It's true the perfect deli and if you're considering opening another location... Tampa would LOVE you!!!

"The Reubini" was delicious. I opted for corned beef with coleslaw rather than sauerkraut. Served with a pasta salad side, I took half of the sandwich home! If you put their beef on a subway roll it would not be good. Beef was tender and the onions and peppers melted in my mouth. Very busy but still pretty fast considering in was Daytona 500 Weekend and it was slammed. About as complete italian market as you can get. Very mom and pop and the quality showed. Prices were pretty good and you get what you pay for. We loved our sandwiches and could only eat about 3/4 as they were pretty big. Just loved this place and all of the locals said that this was THE place to go. They were right. The owner going around asking if we needed anything was the icing on the cake. It is service like this that makes people remember this place. This place should make it in NY or NJ with no problem and they don't have the attitude. Very friendly , and Thank You for the great food and the hospitality.

Some say the pastrami is the best ever other says the pizza is to die for, well today it seemed most people came for the pizza but I had already decided on the pastrami before I pulled in the parking lot. This was a giant sandwich freshly prepared while I waited, really good fresh rye bread, spicy mustard, swiss cheese and a lot of hot from the grill pastrami (deli sliced but I knew that coming in). I got here a few minutes after they opened so there was no line and the woman working the register was so friendly and accommodating, the older gentleman I presume is George was busy tending to the pizzas and sandwich orders that were coming in. I planned to eat this outside at one of the older tables and chairs which I found pretty cool so told her that and she had the sandwich put in a container and didn't bag it but ensured I had plenty of napkins. The sandwich was $17.04 with tax so there went my twenty dollar bill with the tip. Well that seemed a little expensive to me until I opened it up once I grabbed a seat in the shade and found it was easily enough for two or one with half to take home. There are a number of reasons I give them 4 stars but honestly the sandwich was at best a three, it was a little chewy with maybe a little too much time on the grill. I'm happy I was able to experience this place and I'm planning to return to experience a few slices of pizza (two slices of cheese or pepperoni pizza and a can drink for $8.00) sounds more than reasonable to me...
