Jersey Mike's has quickly become my go-to when I'm craving a fresh, made-to-order sub. There's just something about watching them slice the meat right in front of you--it feels fresher and makes a huge difference in taste. I went with my usual, the #7 Turkey & Provolone, Mike's Way (on white bread). The bread was soft and fluffy, the turkey tasted clean and not overly processed, and the "Mike's Way" toppings (onions, lettuce, tomatoes, olive oil, vinegar, and spices) tied everything together perfectly. It's simple, but it hits every time. My friend tried the Philly Cheesesteak, and I had a bite--hot, melty, and packed with flavor. Definitely heavier than the cold subs, but a solid comfort food pick. Service was quick and super friendly. The staff actually smiled and seemed happy to be there, which made the whole experience more enjoyable. The shop was spotless, and tables were wiped down between customers, which I always notice. Pro Tip: If you're hungry, go for the giant size--it's huge, and you'll probably end up with leftovers. Also, their fresh-baked cookies are underrated--soft and chewy with just the right amount of sweetness. Overall: Jersey Mike's is one of the few chains that feels like a step above the rest. Fresh, consistent, and worth the extra couple of bucks over other sandwich shops. read more

Got off 10 hr shift stopped by jersey mikes, got the big Kahuna. Hit the spot they made it perfectly nd staff great

I stopped into Jersey Mike's to grab a few subs for my family and I. My go-to sandwich is the #7 on Gluten-Free bread. What I enjoy about Jersey Mike's is the fact their meats have no added preservatives and they offer Gluten-Free Udi's bread. It's great to be able to eat 'fast-food' and have the option for Gluten-Free. Upon walking into the restaurant, I noticed 5+ people waiting, which for an average sandwich shop is not super busy but for this location, it seems to be. The customers looked like they had been waiting for a while based on their demeanor and stature. All the while, a young lady was busy trying to make sandwiches and 1 other gentlemen (manager) was trying to figure out how to ring someone up at the front register. All of a sudden, I heard the manager say that their out of onions. After personally waiting for almost 20 minutes in a line that DID NOT MOVE and the fact that all of the customers in the restaurant were nonchalantly told the restaurant was out of an item. I decided to leave all together. Although the location of this particular Jersey Mike's is set in a beautiful strip center that was updated before COVID with a fresh set of grey paint on the exterior and is located directly across from The Daytona 500. The location is spot on for a sub shop like this one. The downside to this location, it is poorly managed. There was meat opened inside of the fridge (not wrapped), there seemed to be some maintenance issues going on (which no actual maintenance person was there to fix), and the fact that every time I come into this location the average wait time to order and receive a sandwich seems to take about an hour - UNPROFESSIONAL. I ended up driving to ANOTHER Jersey Mike's located in the Tanger Outlet Plaza which in my opinion, seems to be a better experience in all. Because of the inconsistencies, un-kept cleanliness of the establishment, and the long wait times I seem to always have to endure, I finally decided to write this review and sadly I give this particular location a 1-star. read more

DO NOT go to this place as the manager "Cory" here raised his voice at me and cussed me out for a wrong order that he made, where he should have tried to de-escalate and apologize to me and make the order right but instead took the road of yelling at me in the store, in front of his employees and other customers! I'm sure I'm not the only one he's done this to, so just go to the one at Tanger Outlets, 1425C Cornerstone, Daytona Beach, Fla. read more

Good sangwich. Ordered the #9 without bacon, too make it healthy. LOL. Plenty of lettuce and tomato and cheese. Meat lacks just a bit but alright since i get 2 meats. On this day, this location did not have ice but no big deal. Fountain drinks are cold. Got half a drink and then another half. My drink was cold enough and not watered down because of the ice melting. Hum, i may continue doing this. Just like in Europe. Anyway, as i said, good sangwich. Will come back on the future. read more

It would be wise to venture to a different Jersey Mike's location. I placed an online order at 11:30 and it wasn't ready until 12:02. If I didn't say something it would have taken even longer. I asked if they followed a queue system and the woman didn't understand the question. I asked because it would have been faster for me to wait in the physical line since all of those individuals got there food quicker, this was on top of being past my pick up time that the website gave me. Defeats the purpose of ordering ahead and the investment the company made for this tool. I will no longer venture to this location and hope the owner takes on a more active role at this location. read more

This place evidently has someone who can't read. I ordered 2 subs. 1. regular with extra meat and cheese and add cherry relish 2. regular no tomatoes add pickles. At no point did I say no lettuce mayo oil and vinegar and spices. I got a plain sub with cherry relish I had to make my sub at home. so I paid 28 bucks to make my own sandwich. her is the kicker though these people that work in these places demanding $15 dollars an hour. and you cant even make a sub sandwich correctly. read more

Jersey Mike's Subs - plain sub. that I did not order. smfh. - Sandwiches Near Me - Daytona Beach, Florida

Better than any mom pop type place you can name cause Ive tried all within city limits

This location is okay, I guess. I just wasn't that overwhelmed by my experience. I've had a better experience at Jimmy John's. I guess this was due to the customer service, or rather, the lack thereof. The employees were so unenthusastic and unhelpful. Finding out info was like pulling teeth. My sandwich was okay. I had an Italian type sub and the meat just seemed kind of tasteless to me. Mostly I just tasted the lettuce, tomato, onion. I would like to have tasted the italian meats. Maybe I will try a different sandwich if I go again. But that's a big "if". read more

I ordered 2 mini subs on Sunday 2/19/23 I asked for one of them to be toasted like I do at my home location. They would not toast the sub for me. Also staff was not wearing proper uniform pants. At least one employee was wearing jeans. The cashier was not wearing an apron but was wearing gloves which is not sanitary. The employee who was sprinkling the subs had his shirt open as if he was a surfer dude and who really wants to look at the guys chest while he makes your food. Thank you. read more

High Energy!!! Great customer service, attitudes and food... one of the BEST sandwich shops in Daytona even for a chain shop... The team is very customer friendly and helpful... they want to be their. The bread is really good for the area, made my hoagie that much better read more

I saw an add on indeed saying the ISB and Ormond locations were hiring. I gave this ISB location a call to double check and the associate I spoke to was EXTREMELY rude and immediately hung up on me. MAYBE YOU SHOULD CHANGE YOUR INDEED ADD THAT SAYS BOTH LOCATIONS ARE HIRING AND LEARN TO NOT BE RUDE. Because of this I will be avoiding all jersey mikes locations since apparently it's in your handbook that being rude is acceptable! (: Also in case you are wondering. The add was posted TODAY. read more

Came in around 840 the lady working was pissed I walked in rolled her eyes said it's almost 9 come on. Ordered my sub chicken cheese steak no cheese, I could tell she was mad the whole time, by time I got it it was 855, when I got to the car to eat before heading back to work there was cheese on it, I'm lactose intolerant but I didn't want to piss off the lady working there even more by walking back in and I knew I would not be getting good service. And didn't have much free time. Now I'm just hungry at work and wasted 18 dollars. read more

The worst person ever the shift manager was so rude to the guy that was working with her I will never eat there again. I felt so sorry for him I really wanted to get my money back . So, seeing that since I am allergic to bell peppers, I ordered my Philly cheese steak, without the green peppers, to-go. I arrive back at my job- I unwrap the foil and much to my dismay, there are peppers EVERYWHERE! I very nicely called the store to notify them of the mistake. The employee who answered the phone (Kelly) gladly offered to replace the sandwich, however, when I advised her that I am allergic, she then proceeded to hang up on me. read more

If you want a sandwich from a franchise go to jimmy john's. The service and food quality was fair - the Philly was made with gristly meat on rubbery bread. Laspada's in orange city has awesome philly's! read more

$12.00 for a meal and they got my order wrong, i ate there and the sandwich was sloppy and soggy!!!! What a waste of money

If I could give this location zero stars I would. Rude and arrogant manager cursing under his breath, super disrespectful and was rude about using a valid coupon I received from an email. 45+ minutes for two sandwiches. Go to a subway or a firehouse that will save you time and money. read more

My family and I eat here often. The staff is always friendly and the service is always very good. The food is here is a cut above most franchise sub shops. Way better than Subway. I like the fact that my meat is sliced to order. Subway talks about fresh, this is fresh! I have had about half of the menu at one point in time or another. Everything is good. read more

It all started as I walked in.. walked up to the counter as the customer ahead of me just finished! I stood there for 3 mins, he never spoke but he knew I was patiently waiting for him to speak, or at least waiting to hear him say how are you, what would you like to order? I kinda knew he was ready to help me because he stood there staring at me, so I proceeded with my order! I can tell he wasn't feeling it & he's in a bad mood. Or I must of did something wrong for him to treat me the way he did! I kinda knew he's going to be difficult to deal with... so I continued my order! I said may I please order a Giant #13 mikes way no tomato. He responded with an attitude saying so do you want white? Wheat? Like what do you want? I said can I get white please. So he starts slicing the meat, and cheese, he was still annoyed as he's throwing the pieces of slice meat onto the bread... I didn't realize mikes way there's no mayonnaise.. so before he topped it off by adding top half of the bread, I kindly asked if he can add mayo! He got more upset! He grabbed the mayo in a bottle and squeezed it onto the top of the bread like it was the end of the world, it splattered every where. So then he wraps my sandwich up and I immediately asked if I could get some red relish sauce on the side and he gave me a t-spoon and expected me to use that amount on a giant sandwich.. I'm a reward member, & was trying to enter my number and somehow he processed my purchase before I could enter my phone number for points! I didn't even what to bother as he already gave me the worst customer service from the beginning. I will say it's not the last time I'll be visiting that store but if he's there I'll leave! I can't believe he treated me that way! I hope the manager see this and have a discussion with him. A customer shouldn't have to feel unwelcome or an inconvenience. read more

My husband and I eat here all the time! They have the best subs ever! A cut above Subway! Better prices too!

For a quick, take home dinner, I stopped here and picked up a few subs. These were some of the best I have ever had. We tried the turkey, the veggie and the chicken parm. They were all delicious. The ingredients were all fresh and flavorful. The employees were all very nice and pleasant, as well. This is well worth checking out. read more
