The New York steamer I ordered maybe had four slices of meat on it. Was basically bread and mayonnaise. I can't even believe the store would put that in a box and serve it. Was really anticipating a delicious sandwich and got a poor excuse for something my five year old grandson could have done a better job making. First time ever at Firehouse Subs. Upon entry, the store seemed very clean and orderly. Granted it was during off-peak hours but the service was quite fast and the sub was delivered to my table. My sub was the cheddar/brisket on wheat ($7.19), and it was delicious ! FS is more expensive than Subway, and of course, it's a different concept. At Firehouse you choose from a specific menu, with the only options being white or wheat bread, and toasted or not. Subway gives the diner dozens of options, and frankly is a better deal for the money, but I'm glad I tried Firehouse. read more

Apparently Firehouse has a shortage on hot sauce and the rude employee bagging up my food let me know it after informing me that I didn't need any for my salad...says who? (I also had an issue with them over coleslaw.) Sounds petty, but with Publix next door,why would I go somewhere that the customer service is horrible!!! Went in at 10:45am on a Monday just to stand around and wait while girl at counter was just standing there...I made eye contact a few times waiting for her to ask to take my order as I was clearly ready. In meantime, husband went to restroom, washed hands, came out and said, Have they still not taken your order? (He was standing with me previously waiting)...finely another woman and man came out from back and said we will be with you shortly. Older woman took my order. Asked for extra pickle, did not get. Ordered two sandwiches tonight. One Medium Wheat Beef & Cheddar Brisket $9.79. The other Medium Wheat Prime Rib Steak $8.99. Total of $20.01. I've ordered from Firehouse before. Tonight, I was extremely disappointed in the food. I don't know if they have a different vendor, but the Medium Wheat Prime Rib Steak was disgusting. There was so much fat I had to take the sandwich apart and trash most of it. The other sandwich was apparently alright. I don't know if I'll order from this location again. read more

Very slow service. Order a Turkey sandwich and took 15 minutes to make. Then took it home and it was ham. We don't eat pork. Been twice, won't be back. Both times were so slow. read more

I agree with the review about slow service, but I was excited that NSB had one now. Before I had to drive to Daytona. The staff was friendly and all the sandwiches were prepared correctly. i just got 2 subs that cost 18.73. i live 5 minutes away . unwrapped the two subs my husband and i was like no way they were soo soggy i called them right away and austin is the guy i spoke with and said subs dont travel too well i was back at that store in five minutes andgot my money back. they didnt even to offer to remake the subs when i called infact ruid i get at least 6 subs a month from there.i got my money back went to subway and got 2 subs and guess what they were not soggy read more

our first sub was really bad, we were at the American legion having a drink so I run up to firehouse for the first time, ordered a sub got back to the legion and it was all wet.. when I got home I called and they said all subs come steamed unless you order it cold witch they did not ask me how I wanted it.. it was bad bad.. so they ..mary.. said come back and we will fix you another.. went back in three days they would only make me a half sub because I had no receit witch I had told them it was tossed out at the legion..she said to bad this is the best I can do.. the new sub was cold but the bread must have been three days old witch made this sub very bad..if this is the way you run a business you wont be in it very long.. let us know when you get it right..
