Giving a 2/5 only because the food was fine (once we got it). We stopped in on our way to Asheville for a quick bathroom break and snack. Restrooms were clean - that was a plus. It took us 10 minutes just to order. I don't know why... it just seemed like everyone working was operating in slow motion. There was no sense of urgency or acknowledgment, lots of people seemed to be working. Then we waited for what felt like a long time, probably another 10-15. And we thought our order might be ready. It was sitting on a warming area behind the cashier. She was taking an order, and no one seemed to be helping her. She was incredibly slow and spoke so quietly. Finally another employee came up and someone asked for their order. It just took so long. Then we asked for ours. It was there, and had been for more than 10 mins. And then he didn't give us utensils in our to-go order. Then nobody would acknowledge that I was asking for utensils. He gave 2 forks. A knife would've been nice. I've been to this particular location on 3 occasions - all of them have left me a little more than dissatisfied to say the least. This visit was, by far, the worst. I'm actually a pretty big fan of Zaxby's, especially when I'm having to go the fast food route. It just so happens that this location is only about 5 minutes from my job, which could have been a really happy thing for me. So, lunch break - limited time. I try something new - their club sandwich. This thing was a chaotic mess to begin with. The chicken tenders on this sandwich were placed haphazardly: literally the cut across the sandwich was done at the wrong angle so full tenders were left in the sandwich while, at the same time, there were little cuts in random parts of the tenders. BUT! This ended up being a wonderful thing. Because I had to forcefully pull apart the tenders, I ended up, eventually, deconstructing the sandwich. Firstly, there was so much gristle in the first tender, I had already decided I'd just pull all the tenders out and eat the club sans the chicken. That in and of itself is really sad. All of this led to...finding a nice, bright red "SPECIAL" sticker cooked into the cheese in my sandwich. I kid ya not folks - check out the pic for proof. So - I'm already about 25 minutes into my lunch by now, I grab my box, hurry back inside to return the combo and figure I'll go with a safer item - fried mushrooms. I tell the manager I'd like to order the mushrooms instead after showing her my sandwich...which she just stared at for a moment, then shook her head...then looked at me...before ever saying sorry she confirms I want to order mushrooms. Tells me for my refund she's just going to do cash, after attempting to refund my order (without the credit receipt I've already tried to give her) three times. Then, she gives me a refund minus my small soda that I forgot in the car. Lol. And then charges me for the replacement mushrooms...and tells me she's sorry about the issue, when she hands me my mushrooms. Never offers any sort of compensation. Finally...almost 40 minutes into my lunch break, I score some hot mushrooms. I love the little sauce box that was dripping with water pressed up against my mushrooms. That was pleasant. As was the fact that these were the greasiest, I mean GREASIEST, fried mushrooms I've ever had; and theirs used to be my favorite. Not frikkin now. So, I ended up tossing those as well, and rushed back to work with my small drink. read more

Food is still fantastic. However in the last 10 times I've gone through drive thru 8 times have been incorrect or they have left things out. Do yourself a favor and don't let the line push you. Check the order before you leave because those inside certainly don't. read more

This is the worst Zaxby's I have ever experienced. For a family dinner night, we spent $32+ dollars to enjoy some wings and tenders. It tasted like the wings were cooked 4 hours before they were served. Come on! For the price, we should get better quality in food! I have visited this location two times in the past two weeks. The first time I came in two weeks ago the restroom was nasty. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them another try today. Well to my disappointment, the restroom looked like it still hadn't been cleaned since my last visit. You can do better Zaxby's! read more

I have never heard of Zaxby's until passing by this place. Apparently, it is a chicken joint. The menu is heavily chicken based. Wings, fingers, boneless wings, sandwiches, salads, etc... I didn't notice any beef at all. At least they're consistent! Prices are comparable to Chick Fil A. So my first time here was a dine in experience. I ordered a set of chicken fingers and the grilled chicken salad. My friend ordered a sandwich and some chicken fingers. There were maybe 8 other people in the restaurant. It took at least 10 minutes to get my order. Wtf is that about? Did they have to grow the lettuce and pluck the feathers off my chicken? There was hardly any customers and a kitchen full of employees. Odd. Anyway, the salad was mediocre at best. Sad, wilty lettuce and greens, very small portion, and salty grilled chicken. Not impressed. However, the chicken fingers were quite good. Served with the Zax sauce. Pretty tasty. I have come back to this place since that first time but I only ordered the fingers. I've learned better than to order salads at fast food places. This time, I went through the drive thru. I ordered the 20 piece and it only took a couple minutes to get my order. I guess it was indeed the salad that required a visit to the farmer to get the lettuce. Overall, not bad. Stick with the chicken fingers because they're pretty bomb diggity. 3 stars. read more

Food is good, about like any other Zaxby's. The service is OK. But they do not answer the phone. Which makes the curbside call-in difficult.

I'm saddened in the last month or so I've notice a dip in the usual spot in zaxby service. First it was that attempted to swap out a mix up they had given the wrong salad to the wrong person scraped off topping of the house salad carrots red cabbage and tomatos( I'm deathly allergic) I didn't notice the items until after I got home luckly I didn't take any bits and just gave it to my brother the second stop by was greeted with hostility at the request of extra croutons this third time there's no croutons and it's not the right chicken. What's going on Zaxby's. I still love your grilled chicken zalads, but It seems I haven't been able to get one from you all in a minute. I miss them. read more
