I love Chick-fil-a but they were not the friendliest. They would see you standing there and would not ask if you need help. I had to ask for my drinks three times and the cashier that helped me would awkwardly stare at me also the restrooms were discussing for all the people working at the same time. I normally live this restaurant but was very disappointed with today's experience. I ordered a kids meal for my grandson and a cob salad for myself, picked it up and when we got home the fries that came with the kids meal were horrible, tasted like old grease and rubbery and I had to pick out the brown, wilted lettuce out of my salad before I could eat it. read more

Asked for spicy dulex sandwich the first time I went there at around 9PM. 5 minutes later, I received a sandwich that was soggy and opposite of crunchy. I told the manager and he apologized, promised to replace the sandwich. 15 minutes later, they came back with the exact same thing. The family next to me had the same issue, they became really upset and left before their order came back. Weeks later, I ordered another spicy dulex sandwich, and paid for the price. Later I found out that I received a regular spicy sandwich. I had the order to go, so I was unable to request any replacement. I interacted with three girls from the front of the store. The skinnier one with long hair I. Pony tail implied that it was my fault that my sandwich was soggy. I have never had this many problems with restaurants until I came to Lenoir, NC. My experiences at McDonald, subway and Zaxby were all below average. Worst city for food. To be fair, this restaurant is still better than the rest in the area, however it is still slowing going down hill. I respect some of their employees (there's this older gentleman who takes away your trays, and a girl named Anna who makes your stay enjoyable). The menu is quite changed, it has wraps and salads, and I think anyone trying to keep calories down might stand a better chance here than most places along the commercial corridor. Good service. The franchise has frequent nights giving portions of proceeds to locals charities. The food is good, not great (if great is a sit-down restaurant for special occasions), but the chain probably has more community-minded aims than most, so this rates higher than the average chain along U.S. 321. read more
