When I got home, I was pretty disappointed in the size of the chicken patty. When these first came out the patty overflowed from the bun and it was crispy and crunched when you bit into it. Apparently, not so much anymore. Patty didn't even make it past the circumference of the bun and that's stretching it. Most places, I get it, it's not gonna look like the picture, it's something the consumer has to live with, but their patty used to look like the picture when you got it, what happened? Rising costs? You already pass that to the consumer, why increase the cost and shrink the patty? You guys did a reverse Grinch's heart thing, you shrank three sizes. There were four of us with three separate checks, and all three original checks were correct. One person paid cash and did not need change, while the other two checks were paid by card. When our card came back, I noticed our final receipt was suddenly over $30 higher than our original check. The cash-paying person's entire tab had somehow been added to our card transaction, despite the checks having already been separated correctly. As soon as we noticed and our expressions changed, our server immediately came over saying he had entered it incorrectly and took the card back to fix it. Another person at our table independently commented that he had appeared to be watching to see whether we noticed. What bothered me even more was what happened afterward. I was initially given no documentation showing that the incorrect charge had been voided. When I asked for proof, I was told they couldn't print anything and that I could "come back in a few days" if there was a problem. I had to insist that I was not leaving without documentation before I was finally given a receipt showing the void. Mistakes happen, and I would have understood an honest billing error. The circumstances surrounding this one and the way it was handled afterward made the entire interaction feel extremely uncomfortable and questionable. No apology was offered. The food was fine, but I strongly recommend checking your original bill against the amount actually charged to your card before leaving.
