Worse experience ever . I asked for mushrooms and asked for my Turkey to be warmed he said but can't crops contaminate. So I asked for the veggie mushroom and I pay for turkey at the end. He still couldn't do that . The cook at a very nasty spirit for no reason. Than I order rosemary parm bread. Didn't get that . Realized it after eating half of half of my giant sandwich. So they said they could only replace half. Well after her cool only half came back and ask if I would like him to take my other half. Lila how when I'm paying for it . I'll stick to firehouse subs. I had my first Jersey Mike's Sub a few months ago for my birthday. I picked the right one for my first experience! The (Assistant?) Manager who works the grill is a young and capable spitfire who knows the true meaning of Customer SERVICE! What a delight! It is rare to find a food employee who cares these days but she and her fellow employees made the experience great. The sub was fantastic too! I've been a Subway person for a long time, but their Steak n Cheese can't hold a candle to JM's Cheesesteak. I went back again yesterday and the service and sub were just as good! I normally wouldn't review a quick place for lunch but I tried something new here at Jersey Subs! I ordered a Phil's Cheese steak with onions and sweet peppers on a salad... hello just delicious! It's kind of a rainy, dreary days so I didn't want a cold sub (but I love theirs) and I didn't want the carbs in a sub either so the warm, yummy meat on a salad was perfect! Quality of sandwiches are excellent it's customer service at this location is my issue. She greeted me with "hot or cold sandwich". I stated the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. She replied with a bit of an attitude "that would be hot". She then had issue trying to find it on the large menu board hanging. The gentleman finished my wrap and brought it to me. I walked back to the counter to pay for it. He was surprised she didn't already complete the transition since she went in the back room. read more

Cheesesteak subs are close to authentic (and that's hard to come by in Florida --- we are originally from Maryland). Sub rolls are delicious and fresh. Their Italian subs are super tasty also! Service is great and online ordering is easy. read more

Let me start off by saying if I could leave a negative star review I would. So this establishment is busy during lunch, that's fine that just means the food is worth it. They were understaffed, understandable. I ordered my food after 25 minutes in line and I hear 1 of the employees say cold or hot to the girl employee. She said with an attitude I would rather do hot. So the guy making cold sandwiches makes the next 3 people in line behind me... the other employee never even put my stuff on the grill. But get this the guy goes to ring me up. You don't have time to make my sandwich but to ring me up.. I left. Don't worry they didn't waste product they never started my sandwich. Tried to stop by here for lunch but they had the doors locked with a signs that said systems down meanwhile about 10 people were inside enjoying their lunch, I was going to pay cash so there was no need for the system but they weren't even letting people in to give them the option to pay with cash they were just refusing all business and I ended up not even getting lunch because I wasted my time trying to get Jersey Mike's never again from now on I will only go to publix or Jimmy John's this location is such a disappointment read more

I first tried this place in my hometown of Gainesville. I wasn't impressed with that location. Last week this location held a fundraiser for Wolfson's Children's hospital so I decided to give the place a try again since the money was going to a good cause. I ordered the club sub and I must say it was so good. So good that I've been there two more times in the last week and I've even gotten the fiancé addicted to the place. Not impressed with lunch today. I ordered the "famous Philly" and it wasn't good at all. I love onions and even asked to substitute my peppers for more onions. I don't remember ever tasting an onion or feeling the crunch of one. Just really disappointed with the meal. For a $ 15 lunch ($17 with tip) I expect more. I went here with my daughter and there was a bit of a wait, nothing too bad, placed our order and I noticed the cashier and a customer , were trying to get the check out completed right because there was an issue, I also noticed how dirty her gloves were from handling the cash in the drawer, as she was finished , she goes in the kitchen comes back out and Just as she was gonna touch the prep area , I said loudly she needs to change her gloves before she handles food, the girl got an attitude when the co worker told her to change her gloves, I think it was alittle too late because obviously she made the previous customers food with the dirty gloves and the prep area was already contaminated, because we had stomach issues after eating the sandwiches from there and have never had a problem there before , they have a wonderful staff Katie, Brie, Marissa and Darius and Noah, but the girl there today, should be trained better in safe sanitation measures, it will probably be some time before we ever go back there again read more

Been to Jersey Mike's one time. Went to the one at Pine Tree Plaza in Orange Park Florida. I guess if you are into stale bread and older meats it is a fine place. I live less than a mile from this location and I will gladly by pass it to find another sub shop. I gave them one star and that is stretching it at best. I threw 95% of my sandwich away and was so angry I didn't dare return it to their store. Rest assured I will never go back, not even for a free sub. read more

I went to the Jersey Mike's location near my home for the first time today. It was also my last visit. I order a classic/original Italian sub (15") with a drink and chips. My total came out to almost $17.00. My friend ordered a Chipotle steak & cheese sub. He told his sub was devoid of any real seasoning on the meat/steak. Very simply, the price charged for their subs is not worth the price in terms of value for the money. Their subs are not necessarily different than subs from other competitors like Firehouse Subs, Larry's Giant Subs, & Subway of which all three competitors are located within a two mile radius of Jersey Mike's. The primary differences between Jersey Mike's and the others is that they slice the deli meat as the sandwich is ordered/prepared, the selection of their sandwich condiments are very basic (i.e. lettuce, onions, tomatoes, etc.), and their bread is a bit lighter compared to their competitors. That's it, but Jersey Mike's is significantly overpriced in terms of value for the money based on their quality/variety. I could have a comparable/equal meal at one of their competitors for about $10.00/$11.00. The quality and taste of Jersey's Mike was average. I found their deli meats in terms of flavor/texture to be on par with deli meat that I could buy at Publix located in the same shopping plaza. The staff was courteous and nice. The establishment was very clean. My criticism is not about operations, but about the value for the money which many people eating out are cognizant of. I submitted my feedback to Jersey Mike's corporate office through their website and by telephone. The customer relations representative I spoke with at the corporate office came across as a bit defense stating that they offer excellent value for the money and a $16.00/$17.00 tab for a sub sandwich with drink and chips is very reasonable. I found her defensive reply to be absurd. If you're in the mood for sub sandwich for a reasonable price, then Jersey Mike's Sub is definitely not an option. Go to Firehouse, Larry's, or Subway. Go to Publix and buy your own Publix deli meat or the Boar's Head deli meat for better sub sandwich you can make yourself. read more

Best Damn sub place in Jax! If you want a sub done right, just go to Jersey Mikes! I normally get the Italian sub Mikes way! It is loaded with flavor and you wont be disappointing by the size. They do a pretty good version of the Philly Cheesesteak sub as well. Since I have been here in Jax, Jersey Mikes subs are the closet taste to how we do up north. You will get your monies worth here! AMAZING!!! Anytime you go here you will always receive excellent customer service along with consistency on how your sandwich is made. I really love this place. The bread is fresh, ingredients are yummy. My favs are the chipotle cheesesteak and original Italian. They have a rewards card for every time you come and buy a sandwich and also military discount. I Will drive all the way from Fleming Island for the service and a great sandwich they offer here. Will ONLY recommend this store to friends as they are true professionals in what they do. So not TOO bad for my first time. The wife eats here pretty regularly from what I understand, but she works at the hospital, so it's close. She wanted a famous cheese steak, and liked it well enough. I couldn't decide between the Reuben and the meatball, so I stood there trying to decide for a minute. The girl behind the counter chuckled when I told her my dilemma and said yes it is hard to decide between those two, that it came down to what one was in the mood for. She then suggested the meatball. I wish she'd gone with the Reuben. The meatballs were mushy, the bread was both tough and soggy, but the Mountain Dew was good, at least. Probably be back, but when in the mood for a meatball, I'll have to go to somewhere else to get my fix. As a side note, it was sparkling clean, and everyone there pitched in to get my sandwiches bagged and me on my way. All in all, service was top notch.
