Thus was my first time at this location (Hacks Cross Rd. They skipped me in line to start, gave my order it was repeated by the drive -thru attendant. Get to the window pay, was told they didn't have receipt paper when asked for it. Oh it was stuck to the bag. I didn't get 6 piece tender, I received four my lemonade was yellow water. The food was good overall, I'm not sure if I'll return. read more

My husband and I placed a takeout order of egg rolls from the Memphis location on Hackcross Rd. The egg rolls were burnt and greasy. When we returned to the restaurant to complain to the manager, she was very dismissive and rude. She said that she could replace them, but they would probably look the same. The rolls look like they were cooked in old burnt grease. She didn't say that she would address this with her staff or offer any compensation for me having to drive five miles back to the restaurant to compain. I know we should have checked the order before leaving, but this is still no excuse for serving food like this nor rude customer service. read more

The cajun chicken sandwich is ok, nothing special. The young ladies taking orders should maybe find a new job obviously not cut out to deal with public in a customer service setting. My advice to them is to take their attitude and step. I would not visit this location again. read more

This is only my second time at a Zaxby's. I didn't like the first time a few years ago and never planned on trying it again. But you know. The friend wanted me to go with him. I had the club sandwich. It was just alright. Why can't they put a breast on some bread? It was like strips or tenders. I must admit they were good, but I think Chick Fil a is better, and I'm not crazy about them either. Those frozen onion rings are crap. Most of them weren't even rings. They were just scraps and pieces. And who likes crinkle cut fries? The tea was good. read more

Late night quick stop. I had the Cobb salad. Fresh ingredients and enough to last 2 days. Husband got a fill up with the wings and things. Has wings, tenders, fries and beverage. Both our meals was about 20. More than I would pay for fast food. But he had never been here before so he gave it a try. Service was good at the drive-through. Order was correct in the bag and all condiments were present. So not bad. We would eat here again.. read more

Truth is, I have eaten at several different Zaxby's Restaurants in the Memphis area and many in other cities. Usually, I ordered their Fried Chicken Finger Plate, but recently I tried the salads for lunch and I am HOOKED! Co-workers will tell you that I return with a Zaxby's salad 8 out of 10 times. The service is fast and the salads have been delightful. Although I have tried each version, my favorite is the Cobb Salad with Fried Chicken. Also, the Team at this Hack Cross location is friendly and fast. They get me in and out quickly and the salads always Look GOOD and Taste GREAT!!! read more

Pouring down raining and the drive thru was backed up around the building! The wait wasnt long AT ALL! Took 25 minutes for a big zax snack, which is ridiculous. But damn I like the chicken. The lunch crew is a bit incompetent, but I am hoping this is just 1 mistake out of 1000. Food is great though. Attention management, please do something about your floors here. They are very slippery. This might cause a lawsuit, the floor is dry but very slippery. Maybe they put to much soap when cleaning the floors. read more

I've been to this Zaxby's 3 times and each time get worse. The employees are very rude. 2 out of the 3 times they have forgotten the extra sauce that I paid extra for which I can accept that but being rude as well is unacceptable. Any of the other locations is much better. read more

I downloaded yelp just to leave this review. My 10 year old has been asking for Zaxby's for a few days. I finally take him he orders his Three Nibblerz meal with no sauce. Decent fast fried food. Condiment bar was sticky and nasty, tables weren't much better. In the 2 hrs I was there (business meeting) I never saw an employee come into the dining room to clean. Soap dispenser in bathroom was out and the automatic towel dispenser provide 3 inches of paper at a time. This was likely my first and last visit to a Zaxby's for a long time. I said the same thing after my last visit...6 yrs ago. read more

Usually I eat local but every now and again i yearn for Zaxbys chicken finger plate... but today I saw the TLC FILET Sandwich on the menu. The line was wrapped around the building but as usual the Zax crew moved the line on through (that's what the 2 stars are for) ...anyway my partner had Zensation salad and it was ok... but that sandwich was a NO! The meat was the size of a wendy's chicken nugget... I don't pay Zax price for the Wendy's size... plus it wasn't hot... the chicken was rubbery like it had been sitting under a heat lamp or even put in a microwave. I was hungry so we had to ditch the zax sandwich and I went to popeyes for their new chicken sandwich and it was delish ... gave the zax filet to my yorkie poo... she enjoyed it...I, on the other hand, DID NOT! DO BETTER ZAX! I'll stick with the chicken finger dinners... THAT TLC... was made WITHOUT TLC :( read more

It has to be a compelling bad experience to rate something this low. This is by far the worst customer service i have had in a zaxbys. We all have experience that somewhere. I don't need royal treatment. It's cool. But if on top of bad service you get bad food, it makes you feel like a waste of time and money. To keep it short, i ordered a salad. I didn't add anything nor took anything off. Order jus as it shows on menu. The salad was wrong, not my fault. The customer service when asking to be fixed, terrible, and then it was still wrong. Not going to bother any more. Who owns this place? Who manages it? Who trains? Not going to waste any more of my time. read more

Wow! I had no idea I would be so impressed by a Zaxby's drive thru at 9 pm. These kids have got their act together! I pulled up and the line was loooong. I figured I would sit for a minute and then figure out somewhere else to go and leave. Nope! That line zipped along and I had my humongous chicken salad within 3 minutes total. I spent 1 of those minutes chatting with the cashier who was super sweet (sorry people behind me.) She used to work with me and I know if they are hiring those sort of people, they appreciate good workers. My salad was bigger than my belly and loaded with tons of really yummy chicken. I love that they put cucumbers in their salad and have the sliced tomatoes instead of the stupid cherry tomatoes everyone else uses!!! It could have used some more cheese (not being a fatty - there was less than an ounce on the huge salad) and some more dressing. Bread was meh but had good buttery flavor. read more

They OUTRIGHT REFUSED to refund my money. I went to drive thru on 12/20/16 at 6:10 PM Chk # 8947. I ordered AND PAID FOR 1 Club Sandwich, 1 16oz Cole Slaw, 1 Fried Chs Bites, and 1 5 pack of chicken fingers. $18.86 They GAVE ME 1 chicken tender salad. I called them. They OUTRIGHT REFUSED to refund the money. They said I could come back up there and they would see about remaking the order. I contacted Zaxby's Corporate and they promised they would have the franchisee call me. That NEVER happened. I called again the next day. SAME STORY. It NEVER happened. I have now filed a BBB complaint and taken to social media. If you insist on eating there, go inside. WATCH what they do. WATCH how your food is prepared. While visiting the area for two weeks, I ate here twice -once to eat in and the other to-go. Each time, I got the Cobb salad with blackened chicken. Both orders were prepared perfectly; they were beautiful in appearance like a piece of art. I applaud the kitchen staff! The veggies were fresh and the meat was perfectly seasoned. It was enough for two days. I thoroughly enjoyed my experience each time. I also introduced my mom to this particular salad. This is her new favorite item on the menu. The front crew (cashier, dining area) were also friendly and attentive. Keep up the good work! read more

I went through the drive through line here during lunch rush. There were two young ladies taking orders with no menu to choose from outside far away from the menu sign. I ordered off memory however when I proceeded through the line I looked at the menu at the intercom and remembered I needed one order of fries. Once I got to the window I asked if I could purchase a order of fries and the young lady at the window gave me an anger look and without saying a word to me she turned away and I overheard her ask her supervisor if I could order some fries at the window and the supervisor said no she a have large order behind me and they don't have time to take my order. I sat at the window waiting for a response to my request for an order of fries after they took my payment for the first order. While I was waiting on my fries the supervisor at the window asked me what I was waiting for as she gave me my order. I said I was waiting for them to process my request for fries. She said I cannot take your order at the window I would have to get back in line. I got back in line and when I place my fries order the young lady said " oh back so soon" I told her they would not take my order at the window, her response was "that is just wrong" and took my order. When I came back to the window to pay and pick up my food again, they took my payment and gave me my fries. I checked the bag and there was no ketchup so I asked for ketchup and she said "we out of ketchup"!! This is the poorest customer service I have ever received and very disappointed with the overall experience! read more

I find Zaxby's to be a good value. For $6.54 I get a nice grilled chicken sandwich, fries and a drink. The chicken is a good portion and moist. Fries are krinkle-kut and lightly seasoned. Atmosphere is bright and comfortable; music is not loud. My only negative comment is that the lights hanging over the menu make it hard to read the items at the top. Horrible. Got take out from here a few nights ago. Three orders: 2 of chicken fingers and fries and 1 of spicy chicken sandwich with fries. All fries tasted like fish. Disgusting. We couldn't eat any of it. The chicken sandwich bottom bun was falling apart because it was over saturated with grease. Really gross. Chicken meat was all real, but dry and tasteless. What a waste of money. Best part of meal was their drinks feature mini-cubes of ice, which I personally love. Will definitely NOT be back. Ever. Would rather eat grass from a dog "park". read more

Ordered 2 chicken fingers plates off post mates delivery service. The fries was fine the chicken was not cooked completely pink inside. It was horrible. What a horrible place. The employees are all extremely rude. Especially the girl working the drive through tonight. First she was snotty with everything she said then after everything we ordered she asked in a rude voice "is that all?"... really?... I will tell you when my order is complete. Im not going to go into much more detail about the customer service except don't go here unless you want hair flipped into your facr and eyes rolled at you. I came inside the restaurant from the pouring rain to ensure my order was correct. How hard is it to remember what goes in a "wings & things"? I order three, count them, three of the same: traditional wimpy wings & things! ALL THREE were wrong!! One order didn't even have the tenders. After trying to call a few times, we went back to the restaurant. And even though the manager refunded our money it was a very disappointing experience. Oh and he said "keep the food because we're just going to throw it away". read more

It's a reason I don't eat at this location here but maybe once every 3 months. This location is overpopulated with too many young (some very unprofessional) people. I placed my order & waited for it with specific requests. You give me my order with exactly what I asked you to NOT do. I park, go in to request the order that I paid for & I get questioned as to "does the receipt say that"? Now whether this was asked for hypothetical reasons, questioning the kitchen staff or implying I got what I asked for; it was rude & highly unprofessional. Then the most disgusting thing was "do not throw that away". Now, in all honesty I opened the box & saw it was wrong & instantly took the order back in (not even touching the food). But to keep it? For who? Restaurants don't do this for sanitation purposes. No, I didn't want it but it should have been trashed. That just blew me away. I will make sure I steer clear of this location. Perhaps the food will be given to a less fortunate person (I hope). read more

Came here because we had a Groupon for Zaxby's. We both ordered the same meal consisting of chicken strips, fries, and Texas toast.
