Hi We just got out of the restaurant. We got an confirmed pick up at 7.45pm. We got our food at 8.30pm and it was not what i ordered. We told the staff multiple times we where there but they just took care of the Walk ins. We are never coming back and in my opinion I should not pay for this. I talked to the management which not seem to care. This is not ok and waiting that long and still not get what I ordered. She said 4 min bc they where out of something but after 10 min it was still not ready and at that point when i confronted everyone the told me I could take something else. The rest of the food had already been sitting for 10 min. This is not okey in any way and this really ruined our night. Panda Express is just OK... It's cheap, it fills you up, and is fairly tasty. The food ranges from fresh to really old depending on what you choose. All items are on a hot table for you to choose from. The good news is they will let you sample any of the entrees before you order so you can judge the freshness of the food before you actually place your order. The orange chicken is pretty good for a quick lunch or dinner fix. The interior is pretty modern and overall pretty clean. I have never been here when they are busy so I wonder if I they ever are. It is kind of hard to get to from Winchester as you have to weave your way around the parking lot and dodge all of the idiots coming in and out of Sam's and Wal Mart. read more

Ordered take out and delivery online! They didn't deliver one of my meals. I called the restaurant to let them know. They checked and said yes they left one off but their was nothing they could do about it! They didn't offer to remove it from my card. They said I could get it next time I come by. Waited 20 minutes in the lobby for scheduled pickup order. Some of my food was cold, some hot because they had to wait on different items to be cooked. They did not even start putting it together until I arrived, makes no sense, you have an order so you should know what is needed when. Advise, just wait in the drive through to get what is hot and ready because thinking you can order ahead takes even longer and your food will be cold. The food was very good as usual. read more

I went to this establishment yesterday. I placed my order in the drive-thru. The car in front of me obviously had an issue with their order and sent it back more than once. This went on for for 10-15 minutes as the line got longer and longer. By the time I finally got to the window my order was cold and I was pissed. The drive-thru is designed so that once you place your order you can't get out of line. I definitely would've left if I could've. I don't understand why they didn't have the other customer with the issue pull up out of the way (like other fast food establishments do) and they could've continued to serve their other customers. read more

The food is fine (most of the time) but there is just ALWAYS something wrong with this location. I have never been to this Panda Express to find them not having some kind of issue. Some examples I've run into on different visits: -out of orange chicken -out of all sides except the vegetables (no rice or noodles) -out of ice -not serving drinks -cash only -card only -out of utensils -drive-thru closed Today I pulled into the drive thru and was told "I'm gonna need you to come inside." I chose to go somewhere else. People use drive-thrus for a reason. I understand being short staffed, but close the inside if that's the case and just run as drive-thru only; that's what every other fast food place does when there aren't enough workers. People who wanted to eat inside will be just as happy to go through the drive-thru, but no one wants to be forced to get out of the car. Maybe one day this location will get itself together and be able to serve all customers all of the things they want, but I have yet to see it in two years of coming here. read more

I ordered the NEW Seared Steak & Shrimp bowl and got this...one piece of shrimp. The drive-thru person artfully named all of the entrees they DID NOT have. I asked about Orange Chicken and was told that was one she said they didn't have. Okay, so how about this, tell me what you have. Why did I say that! She must have been irritated with me so another woman asked what I wanted. I'm so sick of these restaurants and their poor service and food presentation. I tried to call 901.309.7989 but a message says they're not available. I'm too scared to go back over there for fear of getting in an argument or fight. Went to location on Winchester in Memphis! I spent my money on burnt dry egg rolls! BURNT DRY EGG ROLLS! Didn't notice until I was almost at work. Should have checked the bag before leaving. I called the restaurant just so the girl could say we don't replace food. She told me management would call but I haven't heard anything. Last time I was there the rice was too hard! I try not to complain but I want to enjoy my food. Had to throw away and miss out on lunch. I want to get what I pay for or just reimburse the money since they don't replace the food. read more

I get that they have to cook a bunch of items, but shouldn't they be ready a half hour after they open?? At least I know it will be fresh after waiting this long. My friend fed me some leftovers of her Orange Chicken with lo mein and got me hooked. So the next time I was in the area and hungry I decided to stop by. I went through the drive through (since that's part of the appeal) and told the lady it was my first time. She asked if I wanted to come inside to try samples. WHY YES! I tried the Kung Pao Chicken and the Sweetfire Chicken Breast and got both with Lo Mein. I also tried the Beef and Broccoli but didn't like it. I will definitely try more things next time. The Sweetfire Chicken breast is my favorite. It's breaded and comes with red bell peppers and pineapple. It had a zing but wasn't really all that spicy. The Kung Pao Chicken packs a punch. I notice on the online menu it doesn't list sun dried red peppers but I definitely had some in the one I got. I gotta say that they killed the flavor a teeny tiny bit and I only ate a few of them before I realized what was killing me and stopped. The fried rice tasted pretty terrible until I added some Sweet and Sour sauce. My stomach hurts just thinking about it! The chicken tasted like what you get in a kid cuisine box, and the breading was super thick. The sauce was OK. The food is okay, but it is the service breakdowns that annoy me. They will tell you it is going to be a "short wait" for whatever dish and they will bring it to you if you pull ahead. I hope you brought a book to read because it's going to be 30 minutes! Even if they *say* it's only going to be 7, 12, 15 - it really doesn't matter, it's going to be 30 or more. This has happened to me multiple times, it is not a one-off thing. But it's so nice of them to offer you a free drink if you complain (sarcasm). Love the reply "try ordering online" - I would say "try estimating the actual time it takes to cook something and then telling customers truthfully." Missing food from order, left and came back but couldn't enter the building and had to wait in another 20 min drive threw again.

Ok I tried to go there again to give them another chance but again more dissapointment . First , the people at the drive thru act like they couldn't hear us and it took three people to take our order . They drive thru was slow as well and there was only two cars in the drive thru. They started screaming over the mic to me and my mom which irritated us. And they act like they didn't want to give us teriyaki sauce even though we had two orders of teriyaki chicken we obviously needed more than one. When we asked for more than one they were hesitant and acted annoyed . The police car that was ahead of us had to get out of his car to go back to the drive thru window because they forgot some stuff from his order and they acted super annoyed with him too . A couple of them standing around talking not being productive. It was just crazy , even worse than last visit I think I'll start going to the panda that is ten minutes away instead . It was my first Panda Express experience today. I took the plate option with Black Pepper Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken for entrees and a half n half mix of Veg Fried Rice and Veg Chowmein for the side. I was a bit dissatisfied with the Chowmein. It was very raw and rubbery. The rice was good. Both the chicken entrees were good but the Kung Pao Chicken was a few notches higher than the Black Pepper Chicken. Portions were sufficient. First the young lady taking the order kept asking me the same question over and over because she wanted me to answer the way she wanted. A bowl is on meat, I was getting two so why would I answer plate or bowl when you can't get a two meat bowl. However she never said what I was ordering was premium with a dollar up.charge. Today I was made to feel unworthy and undeserving of getting any food or quality service from Panda Express. I placed my order at the drive thru. After paying, I asked the associate to please put my food items into two separate bags. My order was crammed into one bag and I knew as soon as I drove away, it would probably fall out into my car. She said she would give me another bag and I could do it myself. I was in the driver's seat alone in my car and my passenger seat was full with other things. I also have a handicapped arm and hand which makes things more difficult for me. I told her I needed her to separate it for me. She then seemed angry at me. She slammed the drive-thru window shut, threw my order on the counter and walked away. After that someone else came back, separated my food order into two bags and proceeded to hand my order to me without saying a word to me. I didn't get an apology or even a thank you. I asked the second associate what the other person's name was and she said Shantae. I then told her thank you and drove away. I've ordered many times from Panda over the years and I had always received friendly and positive service until today. This place is a joke. I placed on order online and it told me my food would be ready at 11:45. I got there at 11:50 and they were waiting on Teriyaki Chicken to fill my order. They put the rice in the plate and closed it. The chicken teriyaki was finally ready at 12:15 but they had run out of beef and broccoli. They told me it would be another 7 minutes for that and I asked for a refund. The manager asked for my receipt and I told him I placed the order online. He told me that he would have to do the refund later because it was too many steps to refund an online order. I called my bank and reported the charge as fraudulent. These fast food employees want $15 an hour but they cannot even work enough to earn $15 an hour. I suggest that corporate come in and fire everyone. They need to close the location, hire new management and train every employee properly. I wish I could add a half star; I would say Panda Express is 'A-Ok and a half.' I appreciate having the healthier side dish options of brown rice and steamed veggies. For me, however, the entrees aren't the best. Nothing really is bad, but nothing really knocks my socks off either. I often have to settle for something I don't want because my entree of choice is either out or old. But the portion sizes and prices are pretty decent, and you can have the option of a fast food meal on the healthier side if you order right. read more

The 2 item w/ a side combo is all I ever need, and I even have the flexibility of splitting the side with brown rice and steamed veggies.
