This Zaxbys is located on Gallatin Pike in Madison directly in front of/next to Walmart. Depending on the day really depends on the experience you have here. We hit this location up on occasion and I have never truly had the same experience twice. Service is hit and miss, but I have found better service through the drive thru than dine-in. Service has never been terrible, but it is always mediocre at best. Food wise, chicken tenders and wings are always solid and as expected, however the fries are either on point or gross and soggy. We usually make the request for extra seasoning on our fries and it is honored about 50% of the time. Location is clean and well kept. Overall, standard Zaxbys location that lacks consistency in service and food quality. We enjoy Zaxbys so we take the risk on occasion. read more

I would rate a zero if I could. The drive through process is terrible! They had people order then pull over and park and then send a worker out going from car to car to give them food. We ended up waiting 20mins. It's as if they think they are not a regular fast food restaurant and can just take as many orders as possible and make people wait. Will not be back. read more

Delicious , great every time, wings, Asian salad, drinks, mobile order was ready when i picked it up, ty

I have experienced great food and good service. The inside of the restaurant is always clean. The employees are polite and efficient!.

Was in drive thru 2/6/25. They were only doing one car at a time... pull up to order .... You wait, you wait, you wait... 4 min ... order go to wait, wait... I'm dis read more

Went here and ordered a kickin chicken sandwich a medium drink and a basket of toast well I tried to get a basket of toast which I said twice but it wasn't entered in by Miranda c which I was sad they also didn't have honey mustard. Which is also disappointing food good tho read more

The Chicken was fantastic, but the service was better. The young lady at the counter assisted us as the menu is pretty large, her suggestions were spot on. Zaxby's is doing a few things right, Ms. Pillow their employee made our visit great. I hope management knows what they have in an employee with pride, personality and the ability to connect with their guests. Thank You Zaxby's and thank you Ms. Kristen Pillow. read more

Zaxbys - Salad Near Me - Madison, Tennessee

My family and I ordered food online tonight for pick up. We had a simple order and it was correct, but I was just not very impressed with the food. Don't get me wrong, Zaxby's in general is delicious and I love that chicken with their Zax sauce! But this particular meal at this particular restaurant? Nah. The fries were sparse to begin with in the box (I should have taken a picture) but that's ok because I only ate 3... most of the fries were not cooked through all the way and were just not good. The chicken was good and the sauce was good. The cole slaw had a weird sour smell when I first opened the container. The Texas toast was unimpressive. Since the chicken and sauce are always the star of the show for me, I wasn't terribly disappointed. Our food order was correct and on time. read more

Good food and good service always quick to get food out. We go there a lot. Great salads too.

This really is sadly just a 1 star location. We used to come here all the time before the pandemic and it was always fast, delicious and hearty portions. All of that has changed dramatically lately and we just had our very last experience here tonight. We waited 48 minutes in the drive-through line and realized once we got to the speaker why it was moving at a glacial pace. The girl at the speaker couldn't get our order right to save her life. We had to repeat and correct her 5 times before she finalized our order. Not surprisingly, people ahead of us were handing their food bags back through the window because their orders were incorrect. Or order was correct...almost (missing the extra piece of toast we ordered). When we opened our food, we couldn't believe how much our portions have shrunk. Chicken tenders went from plump to tiny, kid sized fingers and what used to be large chunks of chick on my salad have now turned to almost non-existent slivers of chicken (pic below). It's such a bummer because Zaxby's used to be my favorite FF establishment but not anymore. It's Cain's for me from now on read more

Zaxbys - 3 tiny pieces of chicken on my fork that used to be one of several large chunks. There's easily 75% less chicken on their salads now - Salad Near Me - Madison, Tennessee

food was good. They forgot all my Zaxby sauce then they put too much ice in my drink so it taste like water down soda no straws no forks and they gave us boneless wings when it was supposed to be traditional wings won't go to the Zaxby's ever again do not work recommend and their server was OK the dude at the window was high read more

We came to the restaurant toward the end of the night, and there was a sign on the speaker that said it didn't work, and we needed to pull to the window. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, the car in front gets their order, we pull up to the window and they tell us that they're closed and they won't serve us. The worker was rude and didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. They definitely need some training on customer service along with repairing their speaker and putting out a cone when closing. read more

I will continue to support this Zaxpys, they can't help it that people are not applying for fast food jobs now. The food is great- its Zaxpys. The owner clearly takes pride in the establishment , the landscaping is some of the most beautiful and I really appreciate that as this is my community. Other business owners in the area should take note ie., Walmart, Ashley Furn. and Amer. Sig parking lots- If surburbs can keep their areas clean so can Rivergate area businesses- I choose to keep my money in this area but I hope strip malls in area do the same like Zaxpys keeping theirs nice and lit up, trash and buggy free read more

The most disappointing Zaxby's experience I have ever had. This location was clearly short staffed, however that's just the beginning of the problem. From the get go, they got my order wrong. When I looked and the receipt and corrected them, the lady working the window gave me attitude. They didn't make an effort to fix their mistake, and then tried to charge me extra for the sauce that I had already ordered and paid for. Overall, the staff was extremely disrespectful, and the food was cold to go along with it. read more

Sat in drive-thru line for thirty minutes. The menu is past the speaker so you don't get a chance to look before ordering with 15 cars waiting behind you. Girl taking my order sounded like she wished she were dead and wished I was dead, too. No eye contact at the window. No hello, no thank you, no here you go. Just "27.38". After we sat in a 30 minute line. Then they left out the salad dressing from my salad even though it's on the ticket. F*** Zaxbys. Chikfila forevah! read more

One of the best zaxbys I've had in a very long time. They get it right! You will not be disappointed at this location.

they take the LONGEST to get you anything- i waited 20 mins for a chicken sandwich do not recommend even if it's not busy the employees dgaf about you and only want a paycheck. don't even come if you're dying of hunger is rather die read more

Ordered a big Zax snack meal. The chicken fingers look like they came off a malnourished chicken. The bread was toasted regardless of it being stale. The bread was like a crouton. The fries had zero seasoning and no taste. Overall this experience was dissatisfying. read more

Placed order at 6:25 pm and didn't get meal until 6:56pm. Food was good once I received it.

The line was going very fast, which means the kitchen was working and there was no reason for anybody to be rushing. The drive-thru lady was the MOST RUDE person I've encountered and had no reason to rush anyone. Our order was very simple, yet she continued to speak in an unprofessional and disrespectful manner. I HIGHLY suggest finding a better and more patient spokesperson to work drive thru before other customers have the same issue I just had. Again, THE RUDEST PERSON I HAVE ENCOUNTERED AS A ZAXBY'S EMPLOYEE :/ read more

I spent 45 mins at a Zaxby's with only an hour lunch without any food. I arrived and ordered the 3 chicken nibblerz combo and didn't receive a receipt from Frankie. Also, I'm aware that Covid is still a thing, but please do not put any of the sauces in my bag with the hand you are wearing a blue glove after you've been touching computers and cash money. I received the order and drove off and noticed that the bread was stiff. I turned it over and the buns were extremely burnt (overly toasted). I waited in traffic to return and asked to speak with the manager (Melissa Bickerman), I requested a refund and showed her the EXTREMELY BURNT buns. She offered to make me something else after wasted time and the food was terrible. I refused her offer. I waited even longer bc she couldn't get a receipt printed for me. She finally had the older gentleman up front print one, and the amount was incorrect on the receipt. I told the man this. I said $8.29+.25 doesn't equal $9.31. Something isn't MATHING!!!!!! I told her this too and she reprinted from the front the correct receipt and it took 20 mins to receive a refund and the correct receipt. I will NOT return. We are in a more digital faster time, so why isn't there a timer on the toaster??? read more

Disappointing in all facets - can't believe this is the same place that others rated 4 or more stars in the last six months. Floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks, all tables were oily and/or littered with chicken breading. Kids high chairs might be from 1984 or at least haven't been wiped down since then. Don't even look under the tables. As for the food, the sandwich was light on the sauce & cheese while the fries were nothing special. Chicken tenders aren't anything special in terms of flavor or meat quality, either. Sad to say but if you can defrost grocery store brand crinkle fries and chicken, then I'd recommend doing that. Not sure how this firm could exist in the future given the low prices for equal or better fried birds at burger chains and at BWW, let alone the consistent splendor of a certain Fil-A restaurant down the street. One star for the lady at the register and surprisingly clean parking lot, I guess. read more

i was a little disappointed with my order. everything but the slaw was cold. maybe i'll try them again sometimes.

Not sure the service could be any worse. Went through the drive-thru - they gave us the wrong drinks (they told us before we noticed). We asked if they were the right drinks, they said no, but just keep 'em. We said no, just give us the correct ones, we don't want these and don't have enough drink holders. They refused to take them back - said we can't take anything back once we've handed it out. Flat out refused to accept them back (even just to throw away). !???? Just went on from there. Wow. Manager ended up being very apologetic and trying to make up for the sh*tshow - which was appreciated. But I really doubt we'll ever visit this one again. First bad experience ever at a Zaxby's though. read more
