So I go and order a #2 combo large Easy mayo Extra tomatoes NO lettuce NO onion I don't care for lettuce and I'm allergic to onions. Tell me why I had 4 pieces of onion smashed into my top bun? Immediately had to throw the bun away. WTF Meat not fully cooked. How can you not fully cook a patty that isn't even 3/4 inches thick is beyond me. My 12 year old daughter can cook a frozen patty until it's done!! WTFYM!! Just pathetic!! I truly feeling like WHATSABURGER has SCAMMED me out of 40 bucks. I've given this location two chances since it opened to get it right, as it is en route to work. Unfortunately, the 3rd shift staff consistently have negative attitudes and act as if the customers are bothering them by ordering. The attitude presented on both visits was as if they didn't want to be there. On top of that, my order was wrong both times. First time here, and overall I'm not impressed. It was okay, but nothing to rave over. The food was about a 4.5 - almost excellent. The service however was about a 2, as I had to wait a few minutes inside for a cashier to address my request. He spoke with a lot of assumptions, and he seemed as if he was way too busy to help me. The place was clean, however it's not a high priority on my list. Overall, I gave the place just over 3 stars, but not enough to call it 3.5. Good to have Whataburger in the Madison/Goodlettsville area, and finally nice that the initial hysteria after opening earlier in the year has passed! I have been to this Whataburger a few times since it's opening with majority of my visits being drive thru. My drive thru experiences are never an issue, but do take longer than your average drive thru times. So, do not come through this drive thru if you are in a hurry! I realize that the wait times are due to "cook to order", and I am not mad about that, at all. So, do y'alls thing and make it up fresh! Speaking of fresh, the burgers are always on point, however the sides, mainly the fries are always on the less than stellar side. I have gotten in the habit of asking them for 'Crispy fries" in an effort to get them to freshen them up before giving me my order. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. While I have never had an issue in the drive thru, my lone dine-in experience was almost enough to make me write Whataburger off. The service at the counter was just awful. It was not that it was slow, but the cashier just did not care and was borderline rude. Overall, glad to have Whataburger in the neighborhood. I went to the Madison/Rivergate store today and ordered 52.22 dollars worth of food. Ordered on line so I thought it would be ready when I got there. I got a breakfast platter with eggs and bacon also ordered extra bacon and eggs two honey butter chicken biscuits w/ 2 sides of honey butter. And some other things ( no problem there) so I waited 30 minutes and finally got my order. So I pulled around front to check out the order. I'm missing the 2 sides of honey butter and a chicken biscuit and the extra bacon and eggs so I go back thur the drive Thur let the cashier know what I was missing. Well your manager comes I tell her what was missing and she proceeded to tell me nothing was missing because she bagged my order and asked for the bag back. She said that the bags were open and told her I opened them to check my order. Then she said did you eat one of the chicken biscuit because I put 2 in the bag and started to go through the rest of the bag so I told her if she started pulling my food out I want it made over. We stopped in last night to pick up some burgers on our way home. It was a little before 9 pm. There were four maybe five cars in the drive through, yet it took more than THIRTY minutes to get our order. Despite the drive through attendant asking us twice whether we wanted mustard (which we confirmed we did) the burgers came out sans mustard. That in itself wasn't a big deal because we had mustard at the house, but the quality of the burgers was so bad the taste of mustard couldn't cover it up. We had two single burgers- total cost was over $13. The quality of food, service, wait time... no where near the price. Plenty of other/better options in the area. You'd be better off going to the new McDonald's up the street on Rivergate tbh. Not sure if it's related, but wife woke up at four in morning with horrible digestion pain. The food is great here. The service is fantastic. The dining room and bathrooms are always pristine. The only negative is that the parking lot is very small and crowded. So we just park next door at the Lowe's so that we can get out easier. My favorite item on the menu is the jalapeño cheddar burger. Add some spicy ketchup to it to make it even better. read more

Breakfast biscuits were old, very dark brown and very hard. I had to return them. They did cook some fresh ones and did apologize.

Food is so so we all know that, some of them are cleaner than others but I just have to say at this location there is the sweetest lady that works here. Her name is Kathy and she's works the register. Unfortunately she wears a mask poor thing at any rate, what a perfect example of Dedication and customer service. She makes sure to say hello to every single person and goodbye as they walk out. Totally patient with every person to as she man's the register solo. Kudos Madison Tennessee Whataburger!!! The food is good, and the workers are nice from my personal experience, but they are the SLOWEST service team I have ever witnessed. If there are any more than three cars in front of you from the place where you order, you're not getting your food for another 25 minutes BARE MINIMUM. I have waited for 30-45 minutes in the drive thru before, it is absolutely atrocious. If you see anymore than 2-3 cars in front of you, just go to Steak n' Shake instead.
