This place has a slight divey charm as a "burger-joint," complete with the sticky floors and tables, but really great burgers and service. The burgers had a real quality taste to the meat and buns that wasn't just an average bar-burger. The onions are listed as caramelized on the menu, but the ones that ended up on my burger were only mildly grilled. Service was excellent. Seems a clear lunch favorite for the fellas. read more

I love the burgers, but my favorite thing on the menu is actually the fried chicken salad. They give you huge portions and I always have some leftover for the next day. It has a bar vibe, but it's not too loud. The servers are always friendly. It's a great place to go grab a burger, but don't forget to ask if they have tater tots that night. They sell out quick. read more

Berry Hill location, first time making it here. Will be making the drive. We went to the Nolensville one often but the food quality really slipped. Glad to see familiar menu items and everything was delicious. We left a little after 6 on Saturday night and they were getting busy. Good service, food arrived quickly. Great spot in Berry Hill that has good drinks and hot delicious food. I don't believe this spot gets the attention that it deserves. The restaurant is locally owned and they give their all to ensure that your experience is always on point. The burgers are prepared fresh and to order. Great place to hang inside or out. Brothers Burger please enjoy and support this local business that is persevering through this current time of chain restaurants and lack of consistency that they may come and go in Nashville. Burger l Brothers making this restaurant real. Imagine to be able sustain during the food prices and overpriced everything. A hidden gem in Nashville for Burgers,Poboys and Fried catfish! Friendly service,great drinks in a casual atmosphere on trendy street with lots of bars restaurants and shops! My whiskey mule was delightful! My friend is vegetarian and had a veggie burger He loved it! The fries are fresh cut and definitely try the capers as bites as an appetizer! The highlight of the restaurant was Helene, what a cool server. The food is good, not over the top great, but good. The burger is a bit too oily. I was charged 1.90 for a to go order. When I asked what this was for, she said the paper box the burger was in. Burger was a 5/10. Five Guys is much better. $22.00 for a double burger w/ fries cooked in seed oil, no thanks. I won't be back. Worst part of the experience was the "to go" charge for a paper box (See in photo). Great burger joint tucked away from all the craziness that Nashville has to offer. Indoor and outdoor seating. Parking in the back is limited but we didn't have a problem. I got the blue burger which I have never had! Super good, loaded with blue cheese- I assume anyone ordering this would appreciate the amount of blue cheese. The onions stated they would be carmelized, I would describe these less as carmazlied and more of a quickly sautéed onion. Still good but not quite carmelized. I'm trying to be healthier- I was gonna order a side salad but when I saw the fries were fresh cut I couldn't resist. They where the PERFECT French fries. Crispy, salty, still soft in the center. Their list of sauces is also impressive. We got the zesty ranch and Carolina bbq. They also have cumin aioli. Service was quick and efficient. read more

So, every now and then I circle back to the mission of finding the best burger in Nashville. I had a friend visiting from out of town and thought we'd give Brothers a shot as it is sometimes mentioned in those conversations. I hadn't tried it before. For some reason I expected a dive bar? Many of the "best burgers" in Nashville are served at such places, but Brothers is actually clean and modern, up to date. Parking is free but limited, but we lucked up and snagged a spot as someone left even though it was peak lunchtime on a Saturday. Our server was super friendly and helpful, walking us through suggestions. We started with the caprese bites and they were solid--a huge slab of tomato can be hit or miss but these tomatoes were actually fresh (maybe it's just that time of year) and flavorful (soaked in balsamic for a bit never hurt). The mozzarella was tasty and the basil fresh. Our burgers arrived really quickly. I had the jumpback jack, my friend the mushroom. Big patties, cooked perfectly. Fresh buns, excellent toppings. Big enough to be more than enough but manageable enough to eat with your hands instead of deconstructing and going full knife and fork. We had debated tots, sweet potato fries, etc.--but hearing it was our first time the server said, while all sides were top-notch, the standard fries should be tried first. Hand cut, fresh, just the right amount of salt--snap crispy, not soggy or burnt. Hands down the best fries I've had in some time. There's a bar and it looks like a great place to grab a drink but we just had water. Thus the tab was super affordable, barely more than you'd pay at a decent upscale fast food place these days. Very impressed overall. I started with a "4" on this but now that I've typed it all out I can't think of a reason not to bump them up to a 5 because I truly had zero complaints. Not sure that this is the "best" burger in Nashville, but it's certainly worth your time and in the conversation. read more

Our party had burgers, the catfish and fried chicken salad. All our diners enjoyed their food. Several different burgers. I had the caprese burger. We sat outside on their brick patio. And the service wasn't affected by our location. Overall a good experience. If we're in the Berry Hill area again we'll stop back in. Oh the side of coleslaw was excellent!! read more

My wife had the shrimp poorboy with a side of gumbo and I had the Uncle Sam hamburger minus onion & tomato with fries. The shrimp were tasty and the poor boy was good. The gumbo was very good but not too spicy. The burger was lightly seasoned and cooked medium. The fries were really good with a light seasoning also. We enjoyed the casual laidback atmosphere with friendly service. We will return. read more

First, let me say this; I have lived in the Melrose since 2004. This place has been run to the ground. The burger is still OK but the people who are hired here continue to slip. I came in today and the bartender and employee were sitting at eh bar listening to TikTok on loudest volume AT THE BAR where we are sitting. I said we are moving to a table to get away from Level 10 TikTok. We moved to table. That did not stop these two k getting their social media on. Customer service is doo doo. read more

We enjoyed a lovely dinner outside on the patio at this family friendly burger joint. The kids ran around and played games on the patio while we enjoyed our burgers and beer. As the reviews reflect, I've had a mixed bag of experiences with service here over the years; however, the food consistently hits! I always bring family or friends here when visiting if they ask for a local burger joint. The JumpBack Jack is my favorite so I got it again, my uncle enjoyed the basic Uncle Sam, and my aunt had the creole dressing with the Fried Chicken Salad and raved about it. The steak fries are some of the best I've ever had and my uncle agreed!! Everyone was pleased and we had a great experience being served quickly and checked on throughout our stay. I will say I was a little surprised seeing dogs in crates inside the bar area, overall this place is giving backyard family grill vibes v. formal dining or restaurant which may be helpful to know what to expect. read more

Located in an area with similarly small sized restaurants, this place was quaint and cozy. The restaurant was essentially one room that had tables and a bar. We were served within 10 mins and enjoyed our meals. Everything tasted great. Friendly staff. Parking lot in the back could fit around 12ish cars. Bathrooms available. read more

My 2 little boys and I had an awesome experience here. The waitress was very accommodating to their likes and dislikes and even made my 7 year old not feel bad about spilling his water. The skins were amazing and the hamburger not too bad. This is a definite best kept Nashville secret. read more

The food here is unacceptable. My fries and burger looked old, tasted like fish and were clearly deep fried in oil that is 20 years old. My daughter and I couldn't eat either of the things that we ordered. We paid and left. Separately, the restaurant needs a deep deep clean. The AC units had so much dirty and dust coming out I can imagine cooking anywhere in this facility. read more

Was in the mood for a burger so I looked and found this joint. Reviews were good so we decided to make the 30 min drive to try it out. First it was very clean and the folks friendly and service was good. It's a tiny place not much parking and filled up quickly. But seemed like a cool place if you lived in the neighborhood. The burgers were good, thin Pattie's with really big buns. The buns make the burger look big but remove the bun their isn't much left. The fries were amazing for sure. Overall I was disappointed in the small amount of meat for the price and for that reason this joint doesn't make my best nashville burger list. read more

Stopped in here on a Monday after noon for a quick lunch and everything was surprisingly delicious! I got a burger with sub for a fried chicken patty and fries. While my mom ordered the fish with a side of fries along with a small plate of fried shrimp. The food came fast and hot. The fries are really fresh and delicious and everything was seasoned well. The ladies that were holding down the fort were so sweet and pleasant. The only thing that concerned me a little bit was the temperature of the establishment. It was quite warm inside. I don't know if it's because it's mid summer or something was wrong with the air. But overall we had a great experience and will be back! read more

Not bad...not bad. Not great but not bad...The burgers were pretty good. The burger patty didn't fill out to all the bread edges but the meat was thick. I had the Caprese, which would have been even better if they had a lamb burger option with the mozzarella, tomato, basil, and balsamic. My son had the jumpback. This being a burger joint and all...they should have more options I think...kind of limited. Hand cut Fries were really good...and pork rinds are a must if you like those kids of things (bubbling excretions off pig skin and fat). Don't think about it, just eat it. Draft choices are just okay. Feels dirty and old but I am sure they clean the floors, right? Parking sucks and really don't know how they can fill all the seats with the parking availability (the next door neighbors will tow you if they get upset also). read more

We have been trying to visit the Nolensville location however was in the area of this location and so glad we stopped by! Now our server Penelope deserves 5 Stars! She was outstanding and full of great recommendations! We got there near close and the kitchen staff was even nice and cheerful, and I'm sure they have had a busy, full day! Had the Strawberry Raspberry Nothing Fancy on tap and it was outstanding! Crisp, refreshing and delicious and pairs great with a burger! Burger itself was outstanding! Cooked well and delicious! Now the bun looked big but when you squish it down, the star is the burger patty itself and the bread is just the vehicle to carry the deliciousness. First time going to Brothers Burger - I will definitely be going back. I'm a burger fanatic and I always get the burger when I go to a new restaurant. If they can cook the burger right chances are they'll be doing other good food. well, I got the jump back burger with some home, cut fries, and it was the best burger I've had in my whole life! The appetizer was spot on as well because I ordered the bang bang shrimp. I'll probably be back a couple of times next week and be a continuous customer from now on because all of this food was phenomenal!!! Really enjoyed this place. Found it by luck. I had the chicken platter and my dad had a burger. He did say the bun to meat ratio was a bit skewed to the bun but delicious tasting. The chicken platter was fantastic! These huge pieces of chicken breast with a herby thin layer of breading. Now here is the cool part. They make all their sauces in house. All three were delicious. Bang bang- Asian twist with a little kick Buffalo- normal buffalo Liquid Gold- a Carolina vinegar-ish sauce with spicy that will sneak up on you after a few seconds All were delicious but I think the Bang Bang was my favorite but Liquid Gold really gave it a run for its money. I love that it is locally owned too. Kinda ironic though is it's called Brothers but there were only women working. Definitely would recommend. read more

I had first went to the Big Machine it was too much. Too loud, too many people, the music was horrible so I seen brothers burger across the street and I'm glad I went. The workers were very kind and attentive, I didn't wait long to get served, my food came out less than 10 minutes. They were nice and friendly. The jambalaya was a 10 out of 10 highly recommend. I arrived here with a group of friends (with suitcases) after a long flight, and immediately went to the outdoor area to find a seat. We moved around some chairs to accommodate (nobody else was sitting and eating), while a friend of mine went inside to secure a server. She was cursed at by the worker inside who said "you're already *effing moving around the furniture, so I guess you can sit there". Her attitude and attack on us was very rude and off-putting. We immediately left and refused to be waited on. Bad customer service! read more

We snagged seats at the bar in the cozy little Berry Hill spot. The menu wasn't screaming for it to be called "burger joint" because while there is a burger section, there's also jambalaya, catfish, and po boys, and decidedly no options to customize burgers and really only 6 burgers listed. We grabbed a couple burgers -- because that's what sold us in the name -- and beers. There was a decent local beer selection -- mostly cans, but listed on a board -- and I could tell they rotate often because of some chatter from the bartender and a change out of the keg while we were there from one beer to another. They seemed to be out of several things on the menu and the front of house staff were entertaining to say the least (though I likely would not have enjoyed this quite as much if it wasn't just my partner and I on a casual night out), but the food was tasty, place was cozy, and beer was cold. read more

My mouth is salivating thinking about the juicy burger I had here. This place is definitely a hidden gem and the burgers are absolutely fantastic. We came on a Sunday afternoon and sat out on their patio. The digs are definitely nothing fancy but the atmosphere is casual and relaxed. My boyfriend ordered the jumpback jack burger with regular fries and I ordered the fun guy burger with sweet potato fries. The burgers are big so come with an appetite. The sweet potato fries were I think the best I've ever had! We were definitely impressed and would absolutely come back. I highly recommend! read more

If you're looking for a good burger and fries - come here. If you're looking for good service with your food - don't come here. I called in to order a takeout meal and the lady on the phone said it would be ready between 10-15 minutes. When I got there 10 minutes later, I saw both the outside patio and the inside were packed full of people so I knew this place was very popular. I stood there for about five minutes and finally had to ask a guy where to pick up my order which he promptly told me he didn't know and to ask another lady. I asked her, and waited an additional 15 minutes to be handed food that was waiting on the counter the entire time. When I got home, I had to heat my meal back up in the microwave, but I will say the burger and fries tasted really good. For that reason alone, I give this place 3 stars. Not sure if this place if worth me returning to, and after reading other reviews I see the lack of service is normal. read more

I will always recommend this location for a burger. Their portions are huge and everything is so tasty. There's a pretty decent beer selection as well and the restaurant has a great outdoor patio area for when the weather gets warmer for you to enjoy your meal there. read more

There is plenty of free parking at this location and they have a few outdoor picnic tables. You order at the counter and they give you a number then call your number when your food is ready and the food usually comes out quickly. They have an open style kitchen with bar seating right by the grill. Lastly-- Friday's ONLY --- You can get the " World Famous" Slugburger. It's a Depression Era stlye they used to make in the South back in the Great Depression days. It's interesting to say the least. It's deep fried ground Pork and Soy Meal with Pickles, chopped Onions and Yellow Mustard. I asked for a burger recommendation and she said to go with the blackberry smoke burger as it is ranked third in the world. It was a smash burger with jalapeños, white American cheese blackberry jam, bacon and mascarpone cheese and it was DELICIOUS! My husband had the Tioga Ranch burger and he enjoyed it as well. My son isn't into burgers, so he had the lady bird but he substituted ranch for the Alabama white sauce. It was so big that he didn't have room to eat all of his chicken bacon ranch fries. My husband and I shared the truffle fries and they were EXCELLENT! I wish we lived in the area so that I could try some of the other burgers because they all sounded yummy! If they ever start accepting appreciation payments in the form of spare organs, I'd like management to know my kidneys are available (lightly used, premium condition). For example, so much cheese on the breakfast tacos but the cheese isn't melted, just thrown on cold like a garnish. Or the side dish casserole on the pork benedicts dish that was cold. We bought two jams and one hot sauce before leaving. My family and I loved those. Strong start, but our Farmstead visit was ultimately just OK. Great work with the biscuits and jam, though.
