We were in town for a conference and ended up eating at Culver's twice! Clean, great service, affordable prices, really good food!

ATTENTION MANAGER: The food is good. I don't eat in the dining room, so I can't comment on that. However, there seems to be an issue with employees at the drive thru being able to give change correctly. If the schools aren't going to teach this, and the register isn't going to tell them the amount (or they aren't telling the register the amount they took from the customer), or they can't count the change from the drawer, then Culvers needs to teach them if they're handling money. And it's not the same person. Lately, almost every time I go thru, I end up explaining why the change they gave back is wrong. I generally pay with cash and give the right change (coins) with a larger bill, requiring change in bills. If you are told you owe $10.74 and give them a 20 dollar bill and 74 cents, you may as well have given them an algebra problem. ESPECIALLY if your coins include any pennies. They won't take the pennies. OK give me my pennies back. Then they don't give you ANY change back OR they short you a dollar because they don't understand the exact coins cancels out that part of the transaction and they try to stiff you $10. And then try to debate you over it and try to educate you (nearing retirement age here) over the coins you gave them. It's just getting old... can't tell you how many times this has happened.... all with different cashiers! CUSTOMERS: Just be aware if you aren't paying with plastic, you may have to give a math lesson. Just pay attention and count your change before you leave the window. SMH. 5 stars for the food minus 2 for the repeated headache and required math lessons. $20.74 - 10.74 = 10. That's not a tip, hun! The tip is "learn how to count change!" The order takers at Chick-fil-A standing outside in the heat are able to do it, so you can too! read more

Delicious comfort food and outstanding service! Culver's never disappoints! The Deluxe ButterBurger was juicy, flavorful, and cooked perfectly -- you can truly taste the freshness in every bite. The crinkle-cut fries were hot and crispy, and the onion rings were golden, crunchy, and absolutely addictive. To top it all off, the chocolate frozen custard was rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish to the meal. You can really tell the difference between custard and regular ice cream -- it's so smooth and indulgent. What really makes this place stand out, though, is the wonderful customer service. In the world of industrial food, Culver's is one of the better. The food tastes as expected but their menu can be customized with toppings and sides that reflect their mid-western roots. (cheese curds, pretzel bites) A in typical mid-western fashion, fish is on the menu. The downside of the options is all the al la carte pricing, sides are priced at 3 different levels and toppings may or may not have a price. Culver's does support the community. Frequently local organizations can partner with them for fundraising. The staff at this location was friendly and smiling. Ordered online through the app while on the road for work. I noticed there was no "pickup at window" option which I thought was a bit odd. When I arrived I pulled in the drive thru hoping that they could hand me my order and I could keep going. Apparently they don't do that and made me come inside to pick up my order. Not a big deal by any means but a slight inconvenience. I ordered the chicken tenders, fries and a scoop of vanilla custard with Reese's. Food was solid, as what I would expect from another Culver's. I will say the staff inside the store was very friendly and helped me get in and out pretty quickly. I didn't notice too much about the inside of the store because I wasn't in there for too long, but nothing stood out as bad or "needs improvement ". Overall a very solid experience read more

Some of the best service I've experienced at a fast food chain! Let me start off by saying that I am from Texas where people always talk about our Texas hospitality, but we have nothing on Jaxon and this crew. Holy wow these guys were the friendliest people, were genuinely smiling and looked like they were happy to be there, and were on top of all of the orders whilst keeping the place clean. The seating area had dimmer lighting so you'll want to sit next to a window if it's rainy or later in the day, but this Culver's was practically sparkling. We'd ordered a Mint Shake and a Vanilla Malt, and they were your classic soft serve beverages. They were thick, creamy, and you didn't have to fight your straw to get a good sip. I typically am not a fan of mint shakes, but this one was pretty good! The mint was subtle but sweet and mixed well with their ice cream. The Malt on the other hand was super disappointing as there was virtually no malt mix whatsoever. I actually thought they'd made me a vanilla shake for the first several sips until I crunched a cluster of condensed malt mix thinking it was a wayward piece of ice. Those malt clusters were far and few in between, and it felt like they'd crumbled a bare Whopper or two into a milkshake. For all intents and purposes, it was. If I was local I'd love to give this location another shot as everyone was so kind and the Mint Shake was pretty good. 5 star service, 4 star Shake, and 3 star Malt! read more

I go through the Culver's Hendersonville drive-thru at least once a week, and the service and food are both always amazing. I came here today to praise a specific employee, though. Levi personalizes every single interaction, making my day every single time. I can be having the worst day, and I know I'll drive away with a smile and spirits lifted if Levi is working the drive-thru that day. The world needs many, many more Levis! Also, my little Izzy LOVES the pup cup. The second we pull into the parking lot, she perks up immediately. I've recently had knee surgery and I'm still not getting around to well, my first outing was to see a Movie and then have lunch, I placed my order to go and went to get my drinks , the gentleman said that he could get them for me, but I could manage, after a short wait my food was ready, the manager asked another employee to help me to my car with my bags. The food quality and flavor was decent but nothing spectacular. I've tried Culver's brand several times and it's just not very good compared to other burger places. We ordered via Door Dash and they mostly got our order right but sent several extra things we didn't order, and some items weren't exactly right. Every Culvers that I go to, no matter the location always slaps! I got the deluxe single patty burger with onion rings with boom boom sauce (spicy). Everything was fresh and made to order. I took my son for a burger one night.... I ate here several years ago and couldn't remember why I had never been back. Today I remembered. I'm just not that impressed. The burgers are mediocre with very little flavor. The onion rings and fries are good. The cheese curds are tasty. This is not a place for burgers. So as far as fast food burgers go, this one wasn't the best I've ever eaten... but it was very very good. The beef and cheese and bread were all outstanding even! If I weren't a person that loves all of the fixings on my burger (lettuce, pickle, tomato, that sort of stuff) then this would have been a 5 star burger for sure. The veggie toppings were just very bland though. Even the pickle didn't have much flavor to it at all. I did really like the convenience of being able to go through the drive thru to get a really tasty burger! The drive thru line isn't very fast though when you are ordering a meal for a large family. We had 4 different meals and a couple of desserts with our order (a milkshake and a scoop of custard), and our order took close to 15 minutes before it was brought out. They also almost forgot our scoop of custard, but when they brought it out they also brought an extra milkshake to make up for the mistake, so that was nice of them to do! I'm not much of a milkshake person myself but my family loved the shake. It was the chocolate one, but this place offers lots of different flavor possibilities with mix ins! I'm giving Culver's 5 stars not because it's somehow better than more expensive restaurants you might go to, but based off of what you would expect coming to a more affordable restaurant like this. The customer service has been 10/10 both times that my family has come here. The burgers were very yummy. Onion rings not so great, but the fries are fabulous and so is the custard. I have been to a few Culver's all over the country including Colorado, Tennessee, and South Dakota. For some reason, all of them have different recipes as far as their breading goes on their curds, onion rings, and chicken strips. We were in town over the holiday to see Dude Perfect and wanting second dinner and frozen custard. We arrived about 15 minutes before closing, but you never would have known it because every staff member was incredibly kind and polite. From the lady taking orders on the intercom, the guy ringing up orders at the window, and then the teenage food runner, they all provided service that was well above the expectation for a fast food restaurant.
