(Irrelevant to the review, but here we are) After the plane ride, we decided we were hungry, so someone suggested Zaxbys. I had never has Zaxbys before so I was eager to try. we got 2 cobb zalad's from store 71002 today. the tomatoes and cucumbers were once frozen, 1 piece bacon, and a very small salad. I know the prices have went up, so I guess you need to get small bowls for the zalad's instead of giving us large bowls with poor quality of the items that go in it. This has got to be the nastiest restaurant I have ever been in. The floors were stick, the tables and chairs need to be thrown in the dumpster, the walls are in a bad need of paint and just beyond need of a remodel. I didn't dare to go to the bathroom because I was afraid I would catch a disease. The only thing that could be done to help this place would be to level to the ground and start over. When it comes to fast food, you cant go wrong with a two for one. I love the wing and things meal. Although they are both chicken, it matters that is prepared two different ways. I normally go through the drive thru. It is mostly fast paced and I have no issues. Sometimes the customer service can use some improvement. Where do I even begin? I always get the same thing: #4, boneless, tongue torch, sweet tea. The service was fast enough, even if the window guy was kinda emotionless, like he didn't have a soul. The first thing that went wrong was getting unsweet tea. This is ala-freakin-bama, if someone asks for sweet tea the LAST thing they want is unsweet. Whatever, I just went in the lobby and fixed it myself. Then I get home, open the box, and discover I've gotten 3 pitiful sauceless chicken fingers. Seriously, it looked like a kids meal in a grown up box. As if that weren't bad enough, the wrong food that I got was room temperature. Not like too-long-under-the-lamp dry warmth, I mean 70 degrees, like it was an abandoned order that had been sitting on the counter for half an hour. If you're gonna screw up my order at least give me hot food. If you can't do either, then at least be polite. Everything about this experience was terrible, and I'm not going back, ever. Pulled up to the drive-through. No one was answering the speaker box and The employee outside said she couldn't take my order but I could go pull up to the window. I pull up to the window. They say I have to go take an order by the speaker box. So I reverse back words and head towards the speaker box area again to see a new employee standing there and asked if they can take my order now. The employee who told me to go to the front window says they can't take my order. Someone else is pulling through the drive-through now their order hasn't been taken yet and I was the only one in line at the time that I pulled up. I hope better instructions can be given to the customers in the future employees don't know the procedures to their ordering system. read more

I placed an order in the drive thru and did not receive what I ordered. I returned to the store and simply stated that my order was wrong. I was irritated but not upset because things happen. The cashier listened, then immediately turned to the window and asked for a replacement salad "because she doesn't want this". Then proceeded to apologize to the person who had to make it. I corrected him and told him it wasn't what I ordered. Showed him the receipt and the salad I received. That's when the manager came over and rudely told me they couldn't take it back. I told her she could throw it away if that's what she wanted to do. I would just like what I ordered. She said "you're good". And walked away. A simple sorry about that would have been appreciated. This review is soley based upon the quality of the food I received on 12/2. I ordered the Kickin' Chicken combo. I was absolutely disgusted with the amount of sauce that was on my sandwich (see pics). There was so much sauce on the sandwich that it began to form a puddle underneath the sandwhich.The bottom of the toast and the chicken fingers were completely saturated in sauce, making it extremely soggy. Needless to say, this meal was trash. I like my buffalo wings wet not my sandwiches. Just eww. read more

The place is overall good first time on a Zaxby's. Didn't get welcomed which is a bummer. To begin with the inside of this place is pretty small and it was cleaned and also neat it wasn't that busy when I went. About the food it was great the chicken fingers were juicy and with a good flavor the fries were also good. The wings were good and very well cooked the only bad thing is the wing sauce it's called Nuclear I don't recommend it at all it's spicy which I love but the flavor is okay they are eatable though. The food and customer service at this location is great! The only negative is the location is a bit small, and hard to get into especially on busy hours. Nestle between a Costco and a Starbucks with a parkway and side street as the main entrance can get a little overbearing for younger drivers. The food is always hot and fresh, unless of course its a salad, or milkshake. The wings can be ordered extra crispy if that's your thing, and the Nuclear is the best hot sauce. Tongue Torch doesn't get the job done, but nuclear has a very satisfying taste. The drive through is fairly quick even in the busy hours, and they also allow online ordering for in store pick up. A 5 piece tender plate is $10.00, and a 10 piece plain hot wing is $10.00. Not the best bang for your bucks, but when you want a "fast food" and in the area, this place easily does the trick. Great customer service at the window as well, they check your order, and they make sure you have all of your food. read more

WHAT YOU SEE ISN'T WHAT YOU GET AT THIS ZAXBY'S! Going through the drive-thru I ordered the new Chicken tacos with avocado ranch. When I got home, I opened the bag and was presented with a dirty box containing three pitiful tacos. Each taco had a very small piece of chicken (nugget-sized) with a thin squiggle of ranch dressing, a piece of lettuce, a slice of tomato inside a relatively large soft taco. These tacos looked nothing like the pictures or the advertised tacos that lured me to Zaxbys. Normally, I just accept and make do. However, this was so outrageous, I got back in my car and returned to Zaxby's. I went into the store and asked for the manager. I showed her the box and she went in the back to re-make my order. While waiting, I observed broken doors hanging off cabinets and unkept work stations behind the counter. I wondered how did this place get a 94 rating. Anyway, the manager returns and presents the remake of my order. The remake had a slightly larger piece of chicken with more ranch dressing, a single slice of tomato and another solitary piece of lettuce in a large flour taco shell. I asked the manager why these tacos did not look like the pictures or the tacos advertised. She said none of their menu items look like the pictures. She then offered to refund me and I took my refund and left completed disappointed in Zaxbys. Lessons learned - DON'T ORDER THROUGH DRIVE-THRU UNLESS YOU HAVE GONE INSIDE FIRST. We are new in town and we're hungry after traveling from Seattle. My son heard good things about Zaxbys. We ordered through the drive through and it was a seamless process. After asking the gentleman working the drive through if they were hiring, he stated they were and to come in and meet the district manager. We went in and were pleasantly greeted by Julie. She smiled and was very friendly. My son got a full time job. The food was great, Zaxbys sauce is delicious, and my son is excited to be part of a great team at Zaxbys. This place has pretty much fulfilled my expectations, although sometimes forgetting one item here and there. It's not the healthiest option around, but if you call in an order for 40 at 9AM they'll have it ready by 11:30-11:45. Cobb salad was delicious, with a whole sliced hardboiled egg, ripe tomatoes, cucumber chunks (seedless), bacon, cheese, and super moist and tasty chicken breast. Served with 2 packets of dressing, so you don't run out like I do in other places. Texas toast adds a wonderful accompaniment to the salad. $7.29 or so, and I was stuffed. I gave them 2 stars only because their customer service and far as getting customers in and out sucked!! They literally had 20 employees working when we walked in with only one cashier which is ridiculous.
