I haven't been to Zaxbys in a long time, a coworker came in with some cheesecake bites last week and they were good. So, Friday night on my way home I stopped in, drive thru. The young man that took my order was very polite. It took a few minutes at the window, as I decided to order an appetizer, fried pickles, entree, Asian Shrimp Salad, and dessert the Fried Cheesecake Bites. The pickles were good they came with ranch dressing. The salad itself was good but the shrimp were over cooked and not enough sauce on them. PROFIT over QUALITY... Zaxby's has seriously gone DOWNHILL !!! Our order contained "wings" that had a tiny sliver of meat on them and very few 'drumettes' at all. The loaded fries were stone cold and there is NO celery included anymore. For a 45.00 order we needed ANOTHER meal to actually qualify as a dinner. Came here while I was traveling for work. All me east coast friends wouldn't stop talking about this place, so I had to give them a try. My only complaint is that I didn't come here every day of my trip and try the whole menu. Their chicken is not dry at all. Cooked well and full of flavor. The sauce isn't wildly spicy but good enough to kick my spicy craving. If you have these near you go there and go there often. read more

So far this has to be the slowest Zaxby's. I have been in the drive thru line for 25 minutes for a mobile order and I have not even made it to the speaker box to tell then I have a mobile order. At this rate my grilled chicken will be cold on my salad. Navigating the drive thru is horrible as the rear of the line is practically at the pickup window. I've always had great food and service at this Zaxby's location...until this week. Here's a timeline of what happened. Wednesday, 4:00 pm. I place a mobile order to pick up at 4:30. 4:32. I pull into a curbside space and call the restaurant. I'm told an employee will bring my order right out. 4:38. I'm in danger of being late for work. Since the lobby is closed the door is locked. I definitely don't have time to wait in the long drive thru line. 4:42. I leave. I call, speak with a manager, and ask for a refund. He's very apologetic but can't issue a refund without physically having the card I paid with. He offers to have the same order ready at 4:30 pm the next day with some fried pickles as a free bonus. I understand and accept. He says that the problem will NOT happen again. He also suggests that I arrive a few minutes early for pickup. Thursday, 4:26. Back at Zaxby's. I call and am told my order will be right out. 4:28. My phone rings. The same employee says that she can't find my order in the system. I explain the situation from Wednesday. She says that my order is "in the office" and again tells me it'll be right out. 4:40. I leave with no food. I don't call again because I have no intention of going back. If restaurants can't handle curbside service they shouldn't offer it. And managers definitely shouldn't tell customers they CAN when it's clear the opposite is true. I realize that decisions like that are generally made by higher ups so I'll reach out to corporate. Regardless I don't see myself at this Zaxby's again. read more

The disrespect that I received at this Establishment I will never go back to this Zaxby's ever again far less maybe no Zaxby's because of the way that I was treated. I was at Zaxby's on 12/16/2021, the young lady that took my order in the drive through was very nice. When placing my order I asked her if I could get a ranch with my order and she stated that my meal comes with one. Upon receiving my food I checked my order as I always do before driving away and there was a Zaxby's Sauce which is not to my liking. I asked the male that took my payment and handed me my order for a ranch he stated that it's in the box. I told him that I had check the bag and the meal box and the only thing was the Zaxs sauce. Then his so called unprofessional possibly a manager with no customer service skills came to the window and said that he double checked it and that it should be in there. He "the manager" asked me to check my box Because he was for sure that he put it in there he was like no check it again ,check it again , check it again and I told him I was not Going to check it again because it's not in there , so basically I had to hand the Zack sauce back through the window which is very unsanitary due to we are still in a pandemic so that he could release the 1 packet of ranch dressing to me. That the so called manager was holding hostage 1 ranch , he did not believe me when I told him that the ranch was not in my meal box nor the bag. The so called manager stood at the window and told me after handing me the ranch stated " To call him when I check the box and let him know it's in there". I don't feel that the manager should have Stood there at the drive-through window and argue with a customer I told him to just please handover the ranch dressing because I'm not gonna argue about a sauce packet. It's was probably my second time at this particular Zaxby's. I will say that the cashier was very helpful with helping us choose our order based on our needs. The cashier spoke a little fast and it was hard to make out what was being said at times but the cashier was very attentive to our needs. Also, our food came out hot and ready and within minutes. Zaxbys is the greatest restaurant ever! This place is so good; there is nothing on the menu that you wouldn't enjoy.When it come to there chicken strips, they are amazing.The seasoning and the moisture of the chicken gives it a delicious taste.Also there sauces are great wit the chicken strips or wings. The restaurant services is also welcoming. When you first walk in, you would think that you had to be seated because of the nice setup of seats. The thing is that its actually a fast-food restaurant. Me and my girlfriend order a lot of food and only waited for less then three minutes. The worker also make sure that you are satisfied with you order. The restaurant is also very clean and tidy. They have workers that are making sure that every table is clean. As soon as a group gets up, there is a Zaxbys associate right there to clean up behind them for the next group.There bathrooms are also very clean.It doesn't smell like other fast-food places or a gas station, but very refreshing. This is the absolute worst location I have ever been to! I have been eating at Zaxby's for about 7 years. It is my FAVE chicken place! We relocated from FL, and would drive 45 mins to eat at the closest one to our house! Anyways, our server asked the cook if my Son was given his apple juice, and he said yea, but we never got it, when I told her so, I got a dirty look! Then after opening his food, he didn't have the sauce we asked for with his meal, had to make another trip back to the counter, only to be given the stink eye again! Then I look at my fries, completely burned, and no seasoning! I requested that my Husband return the fries to the counter and ask for some that were not burned. He return's to the table with a new plate of burned fries!!!! I was like ok whatever, let's just eat the ones we have that aren't burned. I open my coleslaw and it smells like it is spoiled, I didn't bother to take it back because at this point I am just getting annoyed! When we were leaving I took the burned fries back to manager and asked him if they looked any less burned than the first ones I had??? I told him I was not interested in another plate, and was just letting him know that it was obvious that he didn't give a rip how the food was prepared! He did NOT apologize to me, actually he didn't say anything at all, just shrugged his shoulders and continued setting a bad example for his employee's to follow! When we were walking out the young lady emptying the trash looked at me and said I am sorry about that, it is the end of the month, and the oil needs to be changed! You are not the only person who has complained about this today! I will never eat here again, EVER!
