Three police officers sat a table diagonally from me and I liked having them there. Another police officer joined them for a total of four. It's like any other Arby's inside the pilot although here it stands out I noticed it got the garbage changed quite often and the tables are wiped out after someone sits there. I want to try their new turkey sandwich but it's sold out already apparently it's a hot one. While ordering, I asked for a large ice water. The employee asked me three separate times whether I wanted a large ice water or a medium cup with a bottle of water. If I had wanted bottled water, I would have ordered bottled water. After receiving my card back, I had to ask for a receipt. One of the main reasons I wanted it was because I was charged almost $15, even though the three items I purchased appeared to total only a little over $10. I wanted to see exactly what I had been charged for. The employee told me to give her a minute. I received my tea and water, then my milkshake a minute or two later. After waiting approximately five more minutes, I finally received the Chicken Fries......but still no receipt. When I asked again, I was once more told to give her a minute. She eventually returned and said their receipt machines were broken. I pointed out that I am never offered a receipt when I visit this location and asked whether their receipt machines are always broken. She confirmed that they are. I find it very difficult to believe that every receipt printer at this location is permanently broken. It is especially concerning when the amount I was charged did not appear to match what I ordered. To top everything off, my plain chocolate milkshake had Oreo cookie pieces mixed into it. I did not order an Oreo shake. That is a serious cross-contamination concern, especially for customers who may have food allergies. Between the questionable total, refusal or inability to provide a receipt, excessive wait, poor communication, and incorrect ingredients in my shake, this was easily a 0 out of 10 experience. Service was friendly & helpful for us newcomers and the food was delivered quickly by the friendly staff. So as much as I was concerned about sticky floors and all that, the food really was delicious. The cheesesteaks seemed to be more bun than meat, but honestly it was a perfect balance of meat, cheese, grilled onion AND a PERFECTLY crispy AND soft bun. The sandwich truly was magnificent and really well balanced/proportioned. I thought the rings were a bit under cooked, but I was fooled again! Onion was soft, well cooked, and flavorful. Fried were definitely undercooked but I don't generally eat French fries so all good. Cole Slaw was middle of the road. I struggle with a rating but sticky floors, sticky table along with a few environmental things really drag down my overall perception. Friendly/competent staff and an excellent sandwich will hold a steady rating of three. Would I eat there again? It is on of the few unique non-chains in the area and I know what to expect going in.
