As A Deaf customer, I love it when restaurants treat me with respect and are willing to work with me when I place an order. I usually type it on my phone. This Zaxby's was fantastic! I typed what I wanted on my phone, and she quickly typed out a response. Too easy. While I waited for my food, I went to the restroom to wash my hands. The restroom was well-maintained. Within minutes, my order was completed, and it was hot and just made. Moments later, the same cashier walked up and offered me an iced lemonade on the warm fall day. Truly a blessing, as I previously have had a heat stroke. It was so cool on an 80+ degree day. read more

The chicken is pretty solid but bit salty. Fries have some seasoning and the sauce is pretty good too. I mean this is one of the few restaurants on base, so not much of a competition here so I guess I will come back again. The bathroom's bit nasty so I hope they clean it read more

50/50 on your order being correct, just the consistency of customer service is lacking

Theres a server there named Damaris and she was AMAZING, It was my first time at Zaxbys and she perfectly guided me through the menu. She made me feel welcomed and I'm glad I went read more

Three stars because it's Zaxby's and everyone loves Zaxby's. However, this Zaxby's is probably the worst when it comes to customer service. The workers are not friendly and if you ask for sauce you are reminded right away that it cost 25 cents for each. If you order something and ask for sauce they will ask you what you need sauce for haha. On my recent visit I asked for honey mustard since we did not get Zaxby's sauce on our sandwiches. I immediately was questioned as to what I needed sauce for. I told them I wanted to replace the sauce I did not get on my order and again, "well it will be 25 cents extra" Cool. So order something and take a sauce off, but you cannot replace a sauce unless you pay. The whole thing is ridiculous. Other than the convenience of this location for many I'd drive to another Zaxby's in Columbus in a heartbeat for customer service. read more

Garbage. Not one patron is inside. There are only 3 cars in the drive through. The three cars in the drive through have been here for 14 minutes. Go somewhere else. This place is the epitome of Fort Benning. read more

Check out my super sweet "fresh" salad from this joint. Got the house salad with fried chicken. I put the chicken back together and it equaled to one chicken strip. Take note of all the nasty gross lettuce I picked out of my awesome salad. Such poor standards and I'll actually be reporting this place up to AAFES and ICE or whoever oversees this place. Thanks Zaxby's! read more

Amazing chicken fingers. Keep it up . Workers are awesome and work to make sure their customers are happy.

Probably the only decent place to get food on post. These workers are actually good at their job and can serve quickly. I'm actually glad they do care because most places on post don't. Only 4 stars because I wish it wasn't so expensive because I want to eat here everyday. read more

First time having Zaxby's and there's nothing too spectacular with this. Would much rather have a Caines or Popeyes.... don't need to come back to this is this is what it is. Bland, dry, chewy chicken read more

I will never eat here again. The dining room was a mess. Dirty tables. Trash overflowing. The restroom was worse. Pee all over the floor. No hand towels. Trash, again. The food was wet and bland. The wings were a sloppy mess. The ice machine was out of ice. They weren't even busy. I don't get it. They have a poster that claims that at Zaxby's, "every decision, every detail was crafted from a deeply felt passion that doing things right was the only way. No shortcuts. No compromises." Sorry, but his whole place is built on shortcuts and compromises. I highly doubt that the original Zax Sauce was made with high fructose corn syrup. read more

Best Zaxby's in the south; probably the entire USA. The employees are friendly and work hard to make your visit the best. Benning's Zaxby's does have the best tasting food and service. They will bend over backwards to make sure you enjoy , are taken care of, and come again. The blonde at the drive thru, CaLyn, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS takes care of ALL customers. She doesn't have favorites, she treats everyone the same and always has a smile and job-focused. She works hard to serve quickly and accurately. When CaLyn is not on duty; Jasmine is and she also loves and takes care of the customer. Miss the red-headed manager, Caleb hope he decides to return. He is everyone's man's man. He takes care of everyone; the customer and the employee. He is fair and just and open minded. We need more managers like him; y'all should beg him to return. Hate to see Ms Dawn go she also took care of business and was an inspiring presence. Ms Okevia is a blessing also; she is fair and takes care of the customer, employees, and the business as if it is her own. Also miss seeing the pretty little red head, Sassy, she was and is a sweetheart. Maybe she will come back. She works hard and loves her customers. Best chicken in town and on post. Fast and efficient service, lots of choices and prices. Everyone is courteous and fast and friendly. Thanks Zaxby's on Fort Bennjng. Serving the best customers in the world!!! Go Army!!! read more

Let me start off by saying when my family of 4 went into the restaurant, we thought they were closing. It was about 3pm on a Saturday, there wasn't anybody in the store. It took 5 minutes for someone to take our order, we told the cashier it was our first time in a Zaxby's, wanted it to be great and didn't know the menu, the disgusted look on her face wanted to make me leave right then, but I wanted to give the place a shot. My family and I ordered our food and it took almost 20 minutes to receive our order. I could only figure they had to start the ovens and friers again for such a delay, not to mention the horse play going on with the staff in the back, very unprofessional. When our order FINALLY was presented I sat down, the order was wrong. When you specifically ask for plain chicken sandwich, I expect the the order will be bun and chicken, nothing else. When I took the order back, it took another 10 minutes to receive it. Zaxby's, that you for showing your true colors on how this store operates. My family will not be returning. It would take a complete revamp of staff to attempt a change of heart. read more

I tried to pay with star card not knowing they didn't except them yet, and I don't have any of my other cards one me. But belle and Dawn comped my meal for free! They were also extremely sweet, understanding, and friendly. ALSO the food was delicious!!!! THANK YOU BELLE AND DAWN read more

Sub par customer service. The lady on the phone was rude and did not try to give the customer the best experience possible. There was a hold up in the drive through which made the food late being brought out, which is understandable, but no excuse for the rudeness read more

I've been to many Zaxby's in different states and they all live up to the standard of the company when it comes to flavor, however, I have had a couple of not so great experiences when it comes to the temperature of the food and the customer service. This store stands apart to me due to their great customer service. All of the employees here go above and beyond to make sure you feel welcomed and at ease that what you are eating tastes good and that you have a great experience. I'm not sure if they're so good because is in a military base bute I sure hope that many more stores get this good with customer service. Definitely will be coming back whenever I'm around. read more

Place has gone downhill since it opened. I heard a manager gossip about an employee and the lobby was a mess. I came here for dinner one night and my grilled cobb chicken wasn't cooked properly. I also asked for no cheese and the dude who took my order couldn't comprehend no cheese. Corporate needs to know about this place. read more

Eat here twice food will not be cooking all the way if you don't ask them to do so, who the he'll like bloody chicken wings

Not a bad place to eat i recommend the bone in wings or the chicken sandwich if anything. Zaxbys sauce is awful in my opinion it doesn't have a satisfying end to it on the pallet. The breading for the chicken tenders is not flavorful nor does it even cover the whole strip 8 times out of ten. Drink machine is out of like most pf the flavors. read more

The quality of the food at this zaxbys has gone significantly down since the opening of the restraunt. Along with the attitudes and timeliness of the staff . This is very sad because zaxbys is one of my favorite fast food establishments . read more

Well I haven't really been to a zaxbys, but I can assure you I will again. So I have little knowledge about this place , I'm from California so it is not out that way . I had the standard chicken finger meal. I was extremely impressed with how savory and fresh out the cooker these tasty guys were! What ever seasoning they use is putting there chicken on a whole new level. I had some of their bone in Buffalo wings, they were ok... you come here for those chicken fingers . read more

Boy this place gets busy at lunch! For that fast food craving that is just a cut a above, head over to this Zaxby's on-post. I ordered a Cobb salad with grilled chicken and it filled me up without the guilt and yucky feeling from eating at a typical fast food establishment. I received my food quickly despite ridiculous lines at the drive thru and inside. These employees know how to deal with a crowd and keep things moving with little to no loss in quality or service from what I can tell - they even brought my meal to the table! There is not much of a value menu here but I appreciated the quick service and a healthy option that didn't lack flavor. It's still fast food but gets the job done and sets the bar high for other chains in the area, especially for something on-post. read more

Food is ok, it's Zaxby's. BUT it has the same problem all fast food establishments on Fort Benning have, rude and inconsiderate employees that are more bothered by your presence than in doing their jobs. More often than not the employees are too busy talking to each other or using crude and vulgar language. It's worth driving off post for food. read more

This place is super busy. To the point that the staff seems overwhelmed. The trash is overflowing. The ice is overflowing out of the soda machine tray. The food is ok. Having just eaten at a Raising Canes in Texas, I don't feel like Zaxby's really compares favorably. Also, my French fries were not thoroughly cooked, and still tasted raw in the middle. The tenders & zaxby sauce were pretty good. I probably won't be back to this location anytime soon. read more

Everything was great! The food was amazing but they had this one girl named Asia who was really rude. Besides that not bad for on post!

If I could give them negative stars I would give them negative 5. The customer service here is terrible and the cashier is impatient. A little more kindness would be highly appreciated since my family and I received no kindness at all. The cashier was sassy, arrogant, impatient, and flat out rude. I do not advise paying any of your money to this place. The food is good however. I wish the hiring manager would take into consideration who they hire and their personalities. read more

Made an unexpected stop here for dinner. I was very impressed! Good fries and delicious chicken!

The service is always TERRIBLE at Zaxby's on Post!! To top it off, they're always out of something (i.e. Straws, soda, napkins etc...) They should've opened a Chic-Fila on Post instead! read more

These reviews are harsh! Zaxby's on post at Benning is Awesome!! Eat Here!! I never leave reviews but wanted to give credit where credit is due. Some of these reviews are terrible and do not describe this Zaxby's location at all. This Zaxby's is the BEST we have eaten. The staff was kind and friendly. Was very impressed with the young man who was on duty as manager. It is rare to come across someone with manners these days and took time to listen to us and take care of us. The food was hot and fresh and YUMMY! (Kinda pricey, but all Zaxby's are) I wish they had a value menu. Not sure where all the negativity emits. Since our first visit to this establishment, we have returned MANY times, and it has become one of our favorite places to eat. I have yet to see the "dirty restrooms" and so forth. Each time we have been the restaurant has been clean, food fresh and fast, and hands down the friendliest staff. We have enjoyed seeing the friendly faces of your employees. Like I mentioned above, the young manager who always has such a happy face with his warm smile and manners and is also a Bama fan, can't beat that! Thanks, Zaxby's for all your yumminess and friendly, happy staff. If the staff is happy, the environment will exude happiness making it be a fantastic atmosphere causing people to want to come back, and your employees do. Roll Tide! read more
