TLDR: Service with the speed of Luigi from Cars, Food like Ratatouille himself made it; and vibes of well, exactly what you came for. Upon arriving at the establishment, parking was easy, decent sized parking lot which is more than a lot of places can be expected of. The counter was manned with the utmost precision, our table got 3x Cali Burritos, 2x Tacos Pastor, churros, carne asada fries, 3x pineapple agua frescas, and 2x strawberry smoothies. This establishment was extremely welcome towards the military, and therefore each member had a free beverage of choice. Each member got at least 2x entree items which came out within 15 minutes of seating. The food came out with the heat of a bursting volcano straight from the kitchen to our hands. 10/10 recommend. My first visit here in 8/10/24 to this food truck. This place is located at the cross street across from Walmart and Next to O'Reilly's. There is a canopy and outdoor seating available. My sister brought me here to try them. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos with consome sauce and the two elote (corn on the cob with seasoning). It was perfectly made. It was yummy, delicious and flavorful. My sister ordered the same meal as me. My niece got the cheese fries. I also ordered horchata drink which was delicious as well. I've been going here for Mexican food for months. I always refer friends there and they love it! My personal favorites are the tacos, horchata and torta. I had the birria tacos for the first time and would say they were 3/5. The tortilla was a bit soggy and the meat wasn't that flavorful. The consume was so flavorful! I know, the pictures I submitted look so bland as I inartistically took the photos without putting the condiments on first. Overall Tacos El Paisa is a great place to get a quick fix for tacos that's just minutes off post. For a taco Tuesday (but just before dinner rush) the place was not packed so getting our order in and picked up was quick. Food quality wise the best dish was the birria tacos. We have been here before but it has been at least a good while since we last stopped through as our previous experience with birria tacos at this same exact place was unbelievably salty. There is minimal parking ordering was very difficult because of the barrier between workers and customers you can't hear the worker when he's repeating your order back to you there's like 30 different menus all having different pictures and different items so it's hard to distinguish what's actually available to order my husband ordered a brisket burrito and instead got a steak burrito I ordered the torta it was supposed to be Carnitas, but I got steak as well. There wasn't hardly any meat and I had a weird texture. The flavor of the sauces was pretty great. The chips were very salty however, like crisp on , the torta was an excellent part of it. The burrito as well as the torta were extremely dry. However, the burrito was decent sized for the price. We went here on a Friday night. There were quite a few people when we showed up and it took over 10 minutes to get our food. It's not in a very great location. I ordered a variety of different kinds of tacos and burritos (way over priced) as we have a larger family and each meat was like mystery meat, chewy ,fatty and the consistency was very odd.
