Given how slow fast food has gotten since 2020, with Zaxby's usually being slower than most anyway, I'm honestly surprised how much better they've gotten at efficiency of food prep. That's the only reason I added a second star. For this location specifically, it seems like laziness, good enough is good enough, and lack of awareness drives my frustration with this location. Something a business owner should notice right off the bat when stepping back to view the front counter from a customer perspective is that the DoorDash/UberEats sign is at the top right of the counter and says "Pick up here," but the big ugly racking system is far to the left side of the counter and the big signs fixed to the sides of the racks completely block the view of the staff that seem to congregate near the drive-thru window from being able to see me standing there. I wait at least a few minutes each time before someone notices me. What's worse, the kitchen staff either notice me standing there as they approach the food window or don't see me. If they notice me, they don't alert whoever they're giving the order to for the drive-thru that a customer is waiting. If they don't, they need to be trained to be more mindful of activity at the front counter if there is going to be minimal presence there. "Always Be Checking." We usually come on Sunday and with two kids under 7, it frustrates me that, especially in this economy, that staff is not more mindful to ensure that, even if they don't mention it, to make sure that we get to take advantage of the Kids Eat Free on Sunday promotion. Our days run together so bad and we've had many instances where we've not remembered the promotion until after we've gotten home. The one time we mentioned it via the survey, someone responded with "thanks for the feedback. We would love to offer you a free appetizer on your next visit." My girlfriend and I picked up two different to go orders on Sunday 03/19/23. She ate hers and I ate mine from another local fast food joint. She was violently Ill for a day and half with food poisoning afterwards. We ate the same thing for three days straight prior to this except for this meal and we are together daily so she didn't just get the stomach flu. She works from home and I don't. She said afterwards that the chicken tasted funny while she was eating it and she only ate half of it. So no doubt she got food poisoning from this place. August 5, 2022 : 7pm Placed a family order of multiple items for my family. When paying for the order the location would not accept or process the Zaxby's gift cards. They will sell the gift cards but would not accept the gift cards for payment. They were accepting credit cards and debit cards but would not accept the Zaxby's gift cards for payment. I would much rather go to the Zaxby's on Cumming Hwy but it economically doesn't make sense for me to drive out of the way. I am SO UPSET. This is the third time in the past 4 weeks this zaxbys has disappointed me!!!! I have never once felt the need to write a bad review anywhere I have been untill now. The wait the first few times was extremely long and this time killed it for me. I ordered boneless sweet and spicy wings and got buffaloed bone in wings. Not a big deal I went in and talked to to girl at the register who was very nice and apologetic and informed the kitchen of their mistake. They remade my wings and got them wrong again, having the bone in. So they re made the again and got them wrong AGAIN with the same sauce at this point I had lost my patience and just took the wrong wings for the 4th time. Not to mention the boneless wings are cheaper than the bone in wings of which my card was not refunded. I took them home and the fries I got were cold and soggy by this point and the wings for the 4th time were not what I ordered. So needless to say, my dog had a nice dinner. We have regularly (2X/week) eaten at this location for years, as it's very close to house! We always get Zaxbys salads. Over the past 6 mths to year, they've been VERY inconsistent in quality, constantly serving 1/2 the bacon, chicken and cheese as usual (and at other locations). Tonight we got NO BACON OR EGGS on our Cobb salads. PS employees that's what makes it a Cobb salad over chicken salad. The last 2 times in a week the chkn is so dry it's not worth eating! If u want consistency and quality, may I suggest the Zaxbys on 92/ragsdale. I've been there a few times and and haven't had a bad experience. read more

I might also note they are within walking distance of 3 schools - elementary, middle and high - they need to stay connected to those schools so that when there is an event at the school they can be aware and prepared!!!
