The service here is slow and easily confused with simple orders. All I did was order the number 14 combo and it took the cashier a while to find the button to push. No wonder they need an AI agent to work the drive-through! No coleslaw available. The chicken was OK at best. There were drink lids, straw wrappers, and all sorts of trash around the order pick up area inside. They've got "cashiers" inside who are unable to make change and the food quality is poor. I've been in there a few times and the place is filthy, unstocked and the floor is full of trash. I don't know why these people are allowed to have a franchise. This place is a joke. I ordered delivery online at 2 PM to be delivered at 5 PM on the Fourth of July. I got nervous at 5:15 when my food didn't arrive and called the store but no one answered. I drove to the place and they had a sign on the door that said they decided to close at 4 PM. There is something wrong with this place. Everytime I come they are closed. Tonight at 6 pm the sign on the door and drive thru said closed at 6 pm because of short staff. I looked in and saw 8 people working. 8 people can run a fast food restaurant. These people don't want to work. There will be an executive get a report soon and it will show how poorly the restaurant is doing and they will close it and these people will lose jobs and it will hurt our small community. The Bojangles brand has great food and beverages. I would go as far as to say the best in their category!! But this particular store is absolutely horrible. I don't know whether it's the employees or management but they just can't get it right. Every time we go the the drive up window, they get the order wrong or leave something out. Going inside is no better. Service is usually poor. They often run out of items. all in all just not good. I really wish they could get their act together. We are done with this location. The last four times we ordered breakfast here at the drive thru we got four biscuits and gravy. Each of the four orders are different every time. One will have just half a biscuit, another will be all scrappy chunks of biscuit, one will be a half with chunk thrown in. We should get a complete biscuit cut in half. That's what we are paying for. It's disappointing to get the food home and basically have scraps thrown in boxes that don't even equal a complete biscuit. Do not serve me scraps! Just moved to the area and always loved the Bojangles in Woodstock (92 @ Trickum). Unfortunately, this one is at the other end of the quality spectrum compared to that location. The sweet tea tasted like they hadn't cleaned the urn dispensers (had that "not so fresh" funky taste). They forgot to include a spork for my grits (which normally wouldn't be that big of a deal, but we just moved and haven't unpacked our silverware yet, so I ended up skipping my grits. The cajun filet biscuit tasted like it had been sitting around for too long and was not hot. It was primarily breading and very little chicken. Really have been disappointed! I keep giving this location by my house chances. Three days this past week we're totally not right. 1. Ordered sausage cheese biscuit, forgot cheese. 2. I had received a coupon in the mail for sausage biscuit and coffee for $1.47 so I thought, but was explained that it was $1.47 off an order of sausage biscuit and coffee. That was even a better deal and should have cost $1.41 plus tax. They kept telling me that it was $2.19. $.78 for taxes? The young people working here need to understand that if there is a customer problem, they should at least listen to an explanation. I had never eaten at a Bojangles before but my sister and I were curious so we gave it a try. We both got a chicken sandwich with one side and it took over 5 minuets for the food to be ready. We were the only car in the drive through so i didn't expect it to take so long. The chicken was cold and the fries were cold as well. I'm not sure if the chicken was kept in a freezer or fridge but it didn't taste fresh at all. The fries were more squishy than freshly cooked. Last trip to this Bojangles for me. Had to go back again for the order being wrong. Manager gave a refund and offered to fix it, but three strikes in a month is enough. I am no longer willing to pay for a service and have it corrected multiple times. To many restaurants nearby who don't get orders wrong, and who actually care about their the service they provide. This Bojangles location was the worst I have ever visited. Sat in line for over 20 minutes at the drive thru to pick up a mobile order only to be told that I had to come inside. Nothing on the app states this, in fact the app tells you to join the drive thru line to pick up your order. No signs outside the restaurant indicate that you must come inside. My card had already been charged so I went inside, only to stand in line for another 20 minutes. I told them they should post signs outside or something to indicate that you can't pick up mobile orders in the drive thru. They said if I had parked in a curbside space and called they would have brought it to my car but nothing visibly posted states this, either. Of course, the order was ready when I finally got to the counter. It had already been bagged and was sitting there. No surprise, my order was cold when I finally got it. CRAPPIEST SERVICE EVER. Went back on Saturday and there were 3 teenagers working and there was nobody in line inside but the drive through seemed to be busy. The guy taking our order was the same one preparing it and I swear he looked at the receipt for 10 minutes trying to plate everything. I had to remind him of an omission (otherwise we'd be back at square one with a new plate). Then he forgot the biscuits... Poor kid needs to get on the ball! As far as fast food chicken goes, this place is pretty good. We got the 4 piece combos, and it was full of food. 4 tenders, small fries, biscuit, and a medium drink. Very satisfying. The chicken supremes weren't spicy at all though. I appreciated the breading of their tenders! I was happy the chicken wasn't wet like at Zaxby's. I'd definitely come back. Nice staff too! This is my Bojangles, I go here when I want chicken. Today I came in after church and ordered what I normally order but was told that they had to fry some chicken, 15 minute wait, no problem, I had time. Now is the bad part. They fried the chicken and I watched a kid at the window go back in the kitchen and take the chicken for his window order which was placed long after I had placed my walk in order. He did this twice and he knew he was jumping line and even looked at me twice while he was doing it. The lady doing my order was so distracted, it went right over her head, not to mention that I had waited for half an hour for what was supposed to be a 15 minute wait. It's hard to find any place with good service anymore. That's a shame because that's what I liked about this Bojangles. I guess the managers and owners don't value good service anymore. This Hickory Flat Bojangles is not just a horrible fast food restaurant, especially in the later evening hours, but a deceptively horrible one. I tried the restaurant using a coupon from one of the local coupon books. The book had their ad and it said the Chicken was Fresh not Frozen. When my chicken tender I ordered came to me it was so hard I could not even eat through the batter coating, the manager told me it must have been a very old batch that was freezer burned in their chicken freezer. He then told me only the chicken pieces with bones are fresh and all other chicken is frozen. That means the Chicken tenders or Supremes they call them are always a frozen product. This is a very unethical restaurant to deceive its customers making everyone think all the chicken is fresh. At night time, they are so slow and do such little business you could have food that is in a heat table for four or five hours. One of the shift workers told me on the sly to always order any item to be made fresh if I come in after 7 because they do not really cook anything new after that time and just keep it in the hot table until they close at 10. read more
