Once I received my Fajita Quesadillas in hand I look them over to make sure all of them were there in which they were. The Fajita's were cooked and made very well and tasted amazing. This place is to pricey for an order of chicken wings/tenders and you don't even get a whole wing. We walked in shortly after 1pm and the counter help was like in another world! everyone is walking around in a daze. When we rec'd our order the tenders were not hot nor were the wings, we believe they were sitting under a frickin' heat lamp. Initially a positive customer experience.. Greeted nicely. Order repeated correctly... Our table wasn't clean. We cleaned it. waited for our order.. 4 numbers were called *after our 3 salad order was in. we asked about our order. They sat our order down. 2 salads were incorrect. Once we brought it up 1 was corrected the 2nd took 5 min only to be incorrect again. Pictures taken of receipt showing order and salad incorrect next to receipt. No apology was offered. This place is so whatever. If you order something just get a salad. Wings aren't worth getting. Fried chicken is ok, but will not satisfy any kind of discriminating palate. Chicken We tried Zaxby's on a recent road trip to Florida. We saw the chain several times as we were driving through Georgia and decided to give it a try. I don't know if it was what I ordered but I wasn't that impressed. I'm not a bread person so the Texas Toast did nothing for me. The chicken seemed really dry. I had a chicken sandwich. First time back here in a while. Drive thru visit, hoping for a wonderful midweek meal. It was a 5 minute drive from this store to my house so expected the food to remain fresh. It wasn't. "Onion Rings" were not like the menu board: not rings but strings of cold, greasy clumps of batter with onions barely included. Had to throw them out. The 10-pieces of chicken were boneless (as expected, nice!), but they were overcooked, dry and tough. As you know, your sauce is awesome - I specifically asked the person at the window if it was included; "most definitely", she said. NOPE: only one in the "onion rings", ZERO for the 10 pieces of bland chicken. Amazingly, the fries were the best part of the meal. I can grab a bag from Publix for less than half of what I paid at Zaxby's tonight. Pretty sad when the fries are better than your speciality. If a meal is great, I'm quick to give praise. This fell way short of edible. I hope they can correct this for the sake of this franchise location; if I took time to write this, I can only imagine how many others haven't bothered and just won't come back. I am from Fl and I love the Zaxby's there. Came here w my family and it was awful! They forgot my order. Had to remind them after they serves everyone that came after me. Then when I got my food the bread was soggy and falling apart, the grilled chicken and fries were cold, my girl's chicken fingers were burned and tasted like the oil was way to old to be used. The fries had so much salt that I swear it raised my blood pressure, and some of them were mush. I can't believe that they served food like that! I sent it back and it took 15 min to get the remake. Overall this was a miserable experience. Made me wish I had went somewhere else for dinner.... Be warned. This location is TERRIBLE. read more

Some of the best chicken fingers around! The best fast food grilled chicken sandwich anywhere. Good fries, good tea, also love the Zax sauce. The salads are also great. If you go through the drive thru, check your bags, they tend to leave out items from time to time. Several times we have gotten home and the left things out of the kids meals, like the drink and Zax sauce. This has more to do with the teenagers they hire than the restaurant. We stopped at zaxby's in byron after back to school shopping at tanger outlet mall last night. Our kids were very hungry. We went to the drive thru. Someone was ordering before us so we waited about ten minutes in the line. As soon as we got up to order it was about 9:59. The worker said we close at 10:00. My husband said his clock said 9:59. They didn't say anything. They lost about 40 bucks we were about to spend. It was more important for them to turn us away I guess. If I could give this place zero stars that's what it deserved! I came here for a sandwich I ordered grilled chicken, lettuce and tomato,nothing special, 20 minutes later no sandwich! I noticed the people that came in after me were already done with their food, I noticed other people coming in much later and taking their food and leaving I went up to the front of the counter and politely asked where my sandwich Was? the gal behind the counter was rude, she mumbled a couple words than ignored me and turned away, the manager said he would look into it so waiting another 10 minutes, my sandwich number was called, I asked the manager if I could speak to him he was in the back cooking at this time, I waited quite a while for him as I was walking out the door he came around the corner I walked back in and asked him very nicely why it took so long to make a piece of chicken, he was not very friendly and didn't seem to care that it took me so long to get my food, I politely asked him yet he just told me that other customers were ahead of me he didn't seem to care that I paid attention to those customers as well and the drive-through people and honestly saw no reason for my long wait I especially saw no reason for his lack of friendliness or care for his customers! Tonight was my late time ever eating at Zaxby's located in Byron. The way the employees act, one would think there was not a Manager on duty. The staff on duty @ 8:30 pm (all blacks) acted unprofessional and ghetto. They were singing an inappropriate song loudly. One employee started sweeping the rug while I sat eating. When I saw the dust flying, I said, "Hey". She immediately went behind the counter and repeated loudly to the others what I said. I said loudly, "yes, I said it". They were ridiculing me. I did not bother talking to the Manager because she was in the kitchen and overhead everything. Their behavior told me that she was not doing her job. The Zaxby;s in Byron is terrible. I usually eat a salad and they are greesy why would that happen. The people can;t take orders correctly, they do not listen to what you order. The food has to be redone sometime and then you are lucky if it is correct. I do not recommend eating here. read more

This used to be one of the best Zaxby's around this area, but in the past few months it has gone from the best to the worst. I have had several miserable experiences here over the past month or month and a half. From the screwing up my order (the same way, 2 times in a row) to rude, disrespectful customer service, one of the cashiers even called me a liar about what dressing I ordered. After today I am asking all of my friends and family in this area to stop buying from this location - we can go to Warner Robins or Macon, but that is the only thing a place like this listens to, you have to speak to their wallet, once it hits their revenue then maybe they will make some changes. Just for the record, I don't want a free salad or for everyone to keep saying they are sorry, I want to see some real change! So until then we are all going to be eating somewhere else. The floors were disgusting and felt like a movie theater floor, the fancy pants soda machine had too much carbonation for every flavor I tried, and there were little piles of food under the tables.
