I have not been to Zaxby's in years and this was my first visit to the Zaxby's in Brunswick next to the Publix shopping center. I placed my order using the app, and I had a much better experience this time around. I seem to recall that I was unable to use a gift card either on the website or on the app previously. It's now very easy to load and save a gift card to use on the app. Being that this was national wings day, we received 10 free wings for a $15 minimum purchase. This was our incentive to come to Zaxby's today. We picked up our food through the drive-through, therefore I'm unable to speak to the interior dining room. The food was ready when we arrived. Overall, everything tasted good. The wings tasted fresh and spicy. The chicken sandwich was fresh and flavorful. The chicken fingers and fries toasted hot and crispy. One of the worst Zaxbys I have been to. ordered a curbside, got there and waited 30 minutes with no one in the drive thru and still had to go around the drive thru to get my order, and my food was cold when I received it. Slow service, but was not the worst of it! The food was horrible! I ordered a fried chicken salad. Did not get that since it was takeout. I didn't realize I got home, none of the ingredients salad was on there. The chicken seemed more grilled than fried, which is what I ordered or they just didn't fried enough. I've eaten that a lot of Zaxby's and I just moved to this area in December. I rarely eat out anymore because I'm retired. But I was in Brunswick at a vet appointment for my dog and decided to get a salad to take home. That was the worst $14 I ever spent for a salad and drink! The on line ordering has been down for around a month. I couldn't order a month ago and found out when I went in the system was down and online discounts can't be given in store. OK sometime happens. Tried to order again yesterday. 3 cards would not work. Called again and they said it had been up and down even yesterday but is working. Told them they were wrong. They would take my order in store. Told them it would not give me the $10 sale price and they said sorry. This seems deliberate. Can't use points or get the online deals. Why have these programs if you can't use them? read more

I've been to this location about 2 or 3 times, typically when traveling north on 95. Our food is consistently good! The staff are usually pretty friendly. The drink station this recent trip was a little messy. I liked that they were playing Christmas music in their restaurant! What could use some work is the area around the restaurant- lots of trash in the parking lot and grass! read more

I'm out! I have not eaten here in months because of an issue the restaurant is having. However, I was really craving hot honey mustard wings. I got a traditional wings and things. I couldn't tell there was any sauce on them. You used to give enough sauce so there was a pool under your wings. This has been the case the last few times I have eaten here. Background I was stuck in Brunswick running errands and they were conveniently located in between two of my stops. I hadn't eaten since the day before around noon and I was feeling a bit peckish, so I decided to swing by for an order of their loaded fries. Exterior No stars deducted for this, but I've gotta say - the people at this Zaxby's do NOT love your car. I don't know how many times I've seen people 'jump the curb' or scrub their rims turning in either entrance and I finally joined the club the last time I visited. Lol. Whoever designed the entrances needs to be horsewhipped for not simply widening them so that they flare out instead of being such sharp right angles. Interior Didn't venture inside so I can't comment. Food I ordered loaded fries with light ranch dressing. I requested light because I've had this before at three other (metro Atlanta) locations and they were super heavy handed with the dressing. I also noticed that the chicken portions have varied WILDLY among locations. My first order was a thing of beauty. Ultra filling with tons of chicken. My last order, not so much. My food was ok but definitely could have been better. There was barely any chicken and the fries were not even hot enough to fully melt the cheese. But the biggest issue was the team member thought light ranch meant 'no ranch' because there wasn't any. They were DRY! And the drive thru line was way too long for me to get back in line to get some. Lol. Price / Value When they prepare these right - it's an excellent value and you're gonna know because when the hand you the container, it will put a crook in your wrist. When they break up what looks one tender and charge you $10 for a bunch of fries, a thimble full of bacon and some cheese - it's less of a value. Customer Service The associates were polite and seemed to be doing their best to get orders handled in a timely fashion. Overall I would try them again, but would dine inside to see if the quality control is better or I'd order another item. I still can't believe they got rid of the Zaxby's club. Everyone I know says that was their favorite sandwich. And yes, I know you can still 'kinda' build it based on another Texas toast sandwich but it's way more expensive that way and it's such a pain - the associates seem to get annoyed. read more

First time trying Zaxby's. Waited in line THIRTY FIVE MINUTES for drive-through kid's meal. For $5, my child got 2 chicken fingers, handful of fries, TAP WATER (that they never explained would be tap, and I threw out), and 2 goldfish graham crackers. Apparently the graham cracker "dessert" in a kid's meal doubles as a "prize" because it's all you get! Will not be back. read more

Anytime I'm in the south I'm going to Zaxbys... no questions asked. This last trip to Georgia was no different; the food was delicious... I'm a bit biased. The customer service was good; my order was made incorrectly the first time so they quickly re made my order. I knocked off toe stars for cleanliness... the place was pretty bad; floors were sticky, drink counter dirty, trash everywhere, tables were sticky, dirty, and just not a nice place to sit down and eat. :/ I was disappointed because I had brought a colleague who had never been-he enjoyed the food but said the restaurant could have been cleaner. read more

I asked her why since I did not get Zack sauce and she said we don't have a way to do that. My husband paid her the quarter and she cussed at us and then dropped it in his hand. Just want to give a shoutout to Ms. Laura H at the Altama zaxbys in Brunswick. She must have been helping train a new guy on the register and I think she demonstrated a lot of patience and attentiveness with him. She walked him through a special request for all flats and the removal of a extra charge on a drink. Right behind us was a whole ball team of high schoolers and it looked like she took care of them just as well. I just really appreciated the care and effort she was giving. I got food poisoning from this place, not sure if they wash their hands prior or what? I walked in my first time looks like a hybrid sit down/ fast food mixture. The menu is ridiculous how can you fit 700 calories into a salad and have a regular meal be 1600 calories? The staff was very nice and helpful I walked up to the counter and ordered the wings with buffalo sauce. Not sure why they give you a piece of toast to go with your meal and French fries, double carbs isn't a bad thing but the restaurant could have more choices maybe Mac and cheese, fried okra, etc. Waited a minute for my food to come out, wasn't sure if the wings were cooked all the way because I was hungry and didn't notice the pink/undercooked meat till after I was done and the bone was exposed. Why can I never get extra seasoning on my fries? That seasoning is THE best thing about Zaxby's, I request extra every time, and they still seem to give me exactly the same amount as the others with me. I'll pay for it! Please! I know things are different with Covid but every time I stop here now the drive through is backed around to the entrance even at 3pm. I went in to pickup a doordash order, my order was not ready yet, and as i was waiting, I was harassed by a hideous child looking man with long dreads, he is usually cooking in the back. He was yelling at me through the window and stuck his tongue out and shook his head around at me. When I yelled back to defend myself, he laughed. The girl at the counter was so sweet and just trying to get me the food. He had also done the same to my frjend the night be before yelling at her and asking for her phone number. I used the drive-thru window. I ordered a house salad with no CHEESE! I get to the window and before I leave the window I check my order. There was cheese. So I gave her back the salad and told her what was wrong. She apologized. Now I saw through the window that she handed the salad back to someone on the food line in the back. This is a fast food chicken joint. The one star reviews with the exception of maybe one are kinda harsh. Xaxby's is not a five star, Michelin rated place. Lower your standards for a premium quality meal a little, be patient and forgiving and give this place a shot. If you go to eat there all hangry and stuff the odds are you will find some faults. We love the homemade potato chips, the Zalads and the wings mostly. And yes they have a hard time with special requests like leaving tomatoes off of salads, but they are kind enough to fix their mistakes. We all make them.. read more

About 8:00 pm, I used the Zaxby's app on my mobile to place and pay for an order. I selected 8:15 as the pick up time. When I entered this location at 8:15, I saw my order on the counter behind the cashier line. I went to the designated pick line, and watched as TWO cashiers walked past me to take orders from people who entered after me. At no time did they acknowledge me, but it was obvious from the furtive glances I received that they knew I was there to pick up my order. There were other cashiers who could either have taken orders or passed my my food, but none did. I waited for about 5 minutes before the (both) cashiers approached me to pass me my order, but because of the wait, my food was cold. I've used the app at other locations and had no problem with timing or receiving my order. Perhaps the management of this location should provide customer service training to these cashiers. Looking for something different for lunch? This is the place. I ordered a combination that had wings fries and chicken strips and was very satisfied. All of the food was good and good quality. Portions were good sized and the restaurant was clean, including the bathrooms. Would definitely order from this place again. Don't forget to try their Zaxby's special sauce which is excellent with French fries. This Zaxby's has the usual good wings, chicken fingers and chewy ice. The only problem I have with this place is that getting in and out can be kind of a pain. Great service!! I was pleasantly greeted by the assistant manager who offered my toddler a complimentary cookie. She helped me with the menu and took my order with accuracy. Zaxby's used to be our go to fast food place. At least twice a week. Over the last month or so things have changed. We haven't made a visit where they haven't left something out. Cole slaw numerous times in my husband's chicken finger meal, dressing for the salad and the sauces that cost us extra. They don't seem to be able to decide if they want to serve their fries seasoned or not. The chicken fingers are fried to death. Last week we decided no more Zaxby's. Well today we were trying to decide what to pick up. My son says Zaxby's. I told him we'd give them one more chance. No seasoning on the fries, my son ordered extra texas toast to go with his salad they didn't include it in our order but I was charged for it. A little less than half way through my salad I crunched down on something that was either glass or a large piece of sand. Need less to say I didn't finish it.
